We are fairly new to the site, and don't have any previous experience with anyone taking care of our cats who wasn't already known to them, so we don't have much reference for comparison. Our cats can be skittish around strangers, especially Mowgli, who takes a long time to trust new people. The first4-5 days were a bit rough as Ashley had to figure out how to work with his eccentricities which can be particularly difficult around mealtimes, but once everyone settled into the routine it went very well. She confessed at the beginning that she was not a "cat person", but asked me to leave my copy of Jackson Galaxy's "Total Cat Mojo" for her to read, and it seems she learned a lot! I think she spoiled our boys a bit since we both remarked that they looked a little chunkier when we got home lol

There was also a fair amount of gardening (mostly watering, but several different garden areas that required different watering methods since they hadn't been consolidated yet). Despite being a novice gardener she did great, and I came back to a happy garden - with my tomato and pepper plants heavy with fruit that I'll be enjoying well into the fall. A gardening friend I had stop by occasionally to check on things said she was very impressed at how well Ashley took on the gardening and how much she learned.

Ashley's communication was great, she sent frequent texts - sometimes just to send cute photos and she always texted when she had any concerns or questions.

Lisa
Lisa was an amazing host! She made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely time with Broly. Their home is very tidy and welcoming, with everything laid out for us to have a seamless weekend.
Broly is a joy to spend time with. He loves to play and go for hikes. If you take him to the beach, he’ll be your best friend! He has lots of energy but is well-behaved and responds to commands.
The neighborhood is quiet with easy access to shops and restaurants all within just a few minutes drive.

Rachel
I had a wonderful time sitting for Rachel and their two Burmese kitties Bernie and Snacks, who are incredibly snuggly and sweet. Their home is well-located with a Hubway bicycle station right across the street, and is a short walk away from groceries and the nearby Davis Square.

I had a great cat sit for Wlad in Felicity’s lovely flat in Ladbroke Grove. The flat is very close to the tube and is in a fantastic area of London that I didn’t know very well but is really close to Notting Hill and Kensington, so plenty of great shops and restaurants all around. I arrived a while before Felicity left so after showing me around we had plenty of time to chat. Felicity is a lovely, friendly lady and despite having just broken her arm, left plenty of food and treats for Wlad and very kindly left me a much appreciated welcome bag of goodies. Wlad is a young cat and is very friendly and affectionate and I loved having him snuggle up to me whilst watching TV. The flat is beautifully decorated and furnished and so I felt very comfortable and at home. I would happily return to do another cat sit.
