I found the initial owner meeting rather transactional with explicit directives and high expectations regarding tasks & duties. Considering it was a 1-month stay, I was not 100% comfortable with the changes presented upon my arrival but eventually found mutual resolve. Pixie is an adorable dog that is well-trained. She has a great temperament and loves taking walks. She is engaging, affectionate, and a fun companion. Compared to the most hospitable & wonderful owners, I've served with Trusted Housesitters. I would highly recommend an in-person meeting before making a sit commitment.
I had the pleasure of dog-sitting little Miss Luna for two and a half weeks in June. She is an absolute sweetheart, brimming with energy, warmth, and affection. She brought a lot of joy to my everyday routine and quickly became my little companion. There are a couple of things that future sitters might want to be aware of. Firstly, she does have a propensity to bark quite frequently, which could potentially be a concern for those who work from home or need a quiet environment. Make sure to have some noise-cancelling headphones or a separate work area to help manage the occasional bursts of barking. Also, she has a somewhat finicky appetite, so it took a bit of trial and error to figure out her favorite meals. However, Lorilee was extremely communicative and gave me very helpful instructions when that happened! Despite these minor challenges, the overall experience was extremely positive. Luna's sweet, loving nature and joyful personality (not to mention the stunning walking paths in the area!) made my time with her an absolute joy. I would be more than happy to look after her again in the future.
It’s difficult to sum up my feelings briefly, as I’m certain to miss this place and the two pups I had the honor to care for! It was such a pleasure meeting Marse and taking care of her charming & cozy home. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. It was especially grand sharing a few cups of tea and conversation! Furthermore, it was so much fun watching over DB and Josh; taking them for walks at Point Defiance park was incredible-they are great companions no matter the weather. DB is full of youthful vibrance and energy and will have you grinning quite often! Josh is a sweet older guy who loves belly rubs and treats (who doesn’t!). They were very well behaved and I hope to see them both again soon. I have new friends for life and I look forward to visiting again!
I really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth's home with Sati and Mia. The home is lovely. The neighborhood is full of great walking paths, all ringed by mountains. And of course it's almost on the border of the Rocky Mountain National park. Sati is smart and fun, and Mia is the sweetest dog ever. Elizabeth was very helpful. She knew I like hiking, so she got out her hiking books and maps and showed me where the best hikes are for this time of year. She left me so prepared that I didn't really need her while she was gone, but she was quick to respond when I did text her. I really loved my stay at Elizabeth's home, and will look for another opportunity to do it again!
Sunny in Sunny Carlsbad has a beautiful place with a phenomenal ocean view. The dogs are a joy to walk with a fun neighborhood to explore. They get very excited when it's time to walk as they love it so much. I hope to stay at Sunny's place soon again. Thanks for the opportunity.

I’ve had Janelle and Fernando look after Olive twice now and I’ve got to say they are the best!! I’ve been hesitant to write a public review for them because, selfishly, I wanted to make sure they’d have room for me on their schedule haha!! I recently had the pleasure of working with the owners of Pup and Away while preparing for a grooming competition at MerryField Academy. They were incredibly supportive and kind to allow me to use their dog, Major. Major was well-socialized and well-behaved, making every grooming session enjoyable. I can't say enough good things about Pup and Away! We boarded our mini dachshund for the weekend, and the experience was fantastic. OUTSTANDING!! 10 Stars if I could give them. I have left my precious baby with other sitters in the past and I could hardly relax while away because of the lack of communication. Everything was top notch with these guys. They were on time and kept my Luigi on his regular schedule. They sent pictures and videos throughout their stay at my house. I trusted them entirely with my beagle boy and my house. They were beyond accommodating with my babie’s needs regarding his prescription food, VERY monitored walks (because he tries to eat everything) and they provided him with lots of affection and exercise since he is still a puppy, shy of 2. I couldn’t be happier with the care given to Homer. I went away for short vacation. I haven’t been separated from my dog in several years so I was quite nervous about my trip. My boyfriend and I were visiting family in Delray and needed last-minute overnight boarding for our yorkipoo. Barkingham was amazing—they accommodated us quickly and made the whole process so easy. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the separate area they have for little pups, complete with a fun and thoughtful setup. You can really tell the staff genuinely cares about their clients and the dogs they look after. We’ll definitely be coming back here the next time we’re in Delray!
The staff is super with the dogs. Our dogs have been going here for 6 plus years. They are attentive, kind, loving, and treat your pet like it is their own. Tony and his son truly care about the dogs. Robert was unbelievable with our dog Lucy. He knew here personality and her quirkiness. She was 14 plus years old and they were so good to her. I truly can't express my gratitude for them.

I have been taking my little prince Bentley for his entire life to Barkingham Palace 7 yrs and would NEVER go anywhere else. Not only are they clean they know how to groom all breeds but most of all. We've boarded our dogs here several times now and I have nothing but good things to say! We had been using our vet for boarding for over 10 years but they stopped doing boarding in 2022 so we were looking for another place that was both affordable and good with our dogs. Both of our dogs have strong personalities; one is super shy and nervous and the other can be very stubborn/independent. The owners and employees have a relaxed manner with the dogs. You can tell they really love dogs and are completely comfortable with all kinds! The guy checking us in the first time knew immediately how to handle my shy girl which made me so happy. My dogs are always happy and in good health when we come to pick them up. I feel so comfortable leaving my pets here when we go out of town.

We dropped off our Lab, first time boarding at this place. We felt comfortable speaking with the staff and left for our vacation. They seemed like straight shooters, trustworthy. We came back 5 days later for pick up, the staff didn’t say two words. I asked how our dog was- the guy said - fine. We got in our car and our dog started coughing, gagging and was so hot. We got home, our dog was coughing uncontrollably, getting worse. We took him to an Emergency vet clinic, diagnosed with severe Kennel Cough- fever. I feel that they knew that our dog was sick and played a fast one. A very expensive lesson.

We bring our dog here a few times a week. As an "active" puppy, he gets all his extra energy out during the day and is much more manageable at night. They do a great job grooming him and the employees couldn't be nicer! Great place!
Great place to leave your dog whether for a whole day or overnight. Nicest owners and staff, plus the rates are very reasonable. My Great Dane just loves the place. You know your dog loves the place when she runs to go in, jumping up and down. And when you pick her up, it's so obvious she's had a great time. I feel like she's at nursery school. Love it!
I’m so happy we were referred here by my doggies’ fur friends from the neighborhood. Everyone here clearly loves dogs! My doggies had a great time and absolutely love it here! DOGS UNLEASHED is my puppy’s new home away from home! I just moved to Florida from CT where I had very loving caregivers for Gila and I was concerned about finding the same loving service here in Florida. Well, I found it. This place is top notch and professionally run and managed. Each time I visit there to drop or pickup Gila I am always so impressed with how organized and clever they are when I pickup Gila, as well as when I drop her off. They clearly love dogs which I can tell by how they receive Gila and how they mix her with the other dogs who all seem very, very happy to be there. I am rest assured that Gila has a wonderful time there and that the staff is taking wonderful care of her.
Today was my Bentley's 1st 4 hour visit and he did GREAT! Wonderful caring staff! He was exhausted. Bringing him back tomorrow.
my rescue was afraid of other Dogs… After a few half days at Dogs Unleashed he loves going to doggy daycare. I actually even get him groomed there… He loves the staff and they greet him when we walk in the door… I love knowing he’s having fun while I’m out running errands, he’s not sitting home alone!
I took my 9 y/o, standard poodle, rescue dog “Milo” for his first haircut in a long time and was absolutely satisfied with the wonderful results. I highly recommend this place. Sweet and very professional staff will love on your pup like their own.
I can't say enough positive things about this place. Jackson, Ashley and all the staff are genuinely caring , attentive and patient to not only your precious pets but their humans as well. At the end of November my son found an abandoned four month old puppy. He lives in a very busy development on the fifth floor and works a lot of hours, which is not exactly the best situation to be in when you are thinking of adopting a puppy. He did not want to leave him in a crate. That would be unfair for the puppy and the neighbors to hear if he barked. There is no yard to run or play, and it was advised to stay away from dog parks due to dog flu or virus. My friend recommended dog daycare, so I started looking around and checking out different daycares in the area. From the moment I called Dogs Unleashed and spoke to Ashley (who patiently answered all my questions), I knew this place was far better than all the others I spoke to and looked at. They offer a variety of all kinds of snacks to accommodate different dietary needs and allergies, full grooming, waterplay, and boarding. What makes them exceptional and stand out from all the rest, is they are sincerely caring, patient, and attentive, all with a positive and loving attitude. Happy ending: My son adopted the puppy. He LOVES going to Dogs Unleashed. He runs, plays (socializes)with his friends, has treats/snacks and is so spoiled and loved on by the staff, that he stops by the desk on the way out to go home and waits for EXTRA hugs from Jackson or Ashley sometimes both! He gets a lot of puppy energy out, so it is easier to train, work with ,walk him, and he sleeps better. All the staff love him and treat him as if he were their own. Dogs Unleashed has made it possible for this sweet abandoned puppy to have a forever home with my son, and my son feels great knowing while he is working his furbaby is being well taken care of, loved and having fun!🐾

THE BEST! And the ONLY pet care service I trust beyond reproach!! I don’t even consider it a service as it is much more personal than that. ANDREA BUDD (OCEANSIDE PAWS) is the only person I would ever trust to watch my service dog Lara. Lara is an adopted greyhound. And being a greyhound and a service dog, her needs and disposition can be quite different from other dogs. She took to Andrea the minute they met and Andrea is her new best friend along with Moongirl!!! She absolutely loves her!! And I have never seen anyone so effortlessly bond and genuinely give her love, kisses, long exciting walks that stimulate her mind and body, and treat her like she was her own!! When I come home I am greeted by a dog that is calm and happy!!! I can tell she had a great day with Andrea and she is so very content!! AND ANDREA HAS TAKEN A COURSE IN CANINE CPR!!! And it is always safety first!! What peace of mind!!! ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! And she has been there for me to take care of Lara when I wake up sick in the morning!! Lara and I have a routine we follow and if I can’t exercise her I know that I can count on Andrea for last minute help!! When Andrea drops Lara at the house I always get pictures of my girl. She always makes sure the temperature is set at the right degree, windows are open or closed and a light is on (even a front porch light for me so I don’t risk a fall) if I will get home after dark as the temperature can change as the sun goes down. She even suggested I leave the TV on for Lara so she has some background sounds. She makes sure there is food and fresh water and her surroundings are safe. She does this automatically, without a thought and without rushing because she cares, not because it is a job or another dog to take care of. These are her babies and she loves them all and she loves what she does and it shows!!!! I highly recommend OCEANSIDE PAWS for the times you can’t be there, but still want your baby to be loved as if you were!! ❤️🐾

Andrea was incredible! I went out of town for a week and she watched my 15yr old pitt-lab mix. We used Heather this past week while away for an entire week. She cared for our two mini dachshunds and rescue greyhound. One of the dachshunds and the greyhound each have medical issues, and had to be medicated more than once daily. There were different foods given for each dog. She took care of this perfectly. We received videos and photos while away, and, there were absolutely no problems. Upon our return, the dogs were in great shape and well cared for. She treated our home with the upmost respect. Heather gets a five star rating and it would be higher if there were more stars to be given.

My Rosie has regular play dates with Peanut and Pals. Her dog Mama Melanie has a genuine love for the little dogs that spend time in her very safe and spacious yard. Rosie has spent many overnights with the family and there is never a worry about the care and attention that she receives. Melanie sends many photos and videos of the happy dogs having a playful time; they have a wonderful time with so much room to run enjoying each other (Rosie & Tito best friends). I recommend Melanie without reservation as she has a true passion for the dogs in her care.
Melanie is a fantastic dog sitter! She cares for my dog, Rico, like her own. I always feel at ease knowing he is safe and cared for while with her and her family. My dog Tito is a regular at Peanut and Pals and he absolutely loves it! Melanie is awesome and communicates with me via text and with pictures throughout the day so I can see how Tito is doing. There's a limited amount of dogs at the daycare so it's nice to know Tito is being properly watched throughout the day. All of the dogs are sweet and seem to really enjoy themselves!
Peanut and Pals have been taking exceptional care of my to teenie Yorkies . Day care and long stays . Melanie is wonderful . She is there 2 nd mom . My 11/2 year old boy is so sad when he leaves . He has so much fun !!!! I never worry about them because she treats them like her own . She has a wonderful back yard for them to play in . I highly recommend Peanut and PALs.
Melanie is absolutely amazing with my dachshund, Snorkel! He always has the best time at her house, playing with Peanut, and she keeps me updated with the cutest photos and updates that truly make me feel at ease while I’m away. I have had the pleasure of using Peanuts and Pals Dog Sitting Services, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I met everyone , I could tell she had a genuine love for animals. My pup Chello , instantly took to her, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, safe, and well-equipped with toys and a spacious backyard, perfect for a hello energetic playtime. I appreciated that they only takes a limited number of dogs at a time, ensuring each pet gets individual attention. Communication was top-notch. I received daily photos and videos. So thankful to have found Wanderlust in Delray Beach! We had only ever used one day care for our dog Cody in NC and we weren't’’t sure how he would do. So happy he loves it there! The staff is great, the facility is very large and top notch and best of all he has a great time. I can tell by the pictures you get each day of your dogs visit! I would highly recommend and so would Cody!
This facility is by far the best in the area for dog play dates or overnights. The space is clean, offers many fun rooms with fun toys and indoor grass playground with options to open the fences garage to offer the outdoor feel without dying of heat. The staff is helpful and kind, the owner Jason did a wonderful job running the facility. You get report cards several times a day of how your pup is doing. They took amazing care of my pomsky for the overnights and I am never going anywhere else!!
My dog Milo loves Wanderlust dogs 🐶 🐩 Delray, he has a great time, they send me pics and videos during the day and also at night when I’m away and they’re boarding him. Jason the owner is very experienced and knowledgeable, he owns and operates other doggie day care facilities. If you want the best for your dog(s) 🐶 look 👀 no further!
I toured the impressive new facility and acquainted myself with the exceptional staff prior to enrolling my dog in daycare and undergoing his assessment. I have been thoroughly impressed and my dog just completed his inaugural sleepover at Wanderlust and returned home a very happy camper. Wanderlust is owned and operated by dedicated individuals with a profound and immediately obvious love for dogs....with decades of collective experience in their care and management. Knowing that my pet is under the care of such a safe, compassionate, and hygienic environment while I am away brings me immense relief. The team at Wanderlust consistently goes above and beyond, providing frequent updates and capturing moments through photos, instilling in me an invaluable sense of reassurance regarding the well-being of my dog. ------ Update: Eight months later, and Wanderlust Dogs remains my dog's absolute favorite spot! You can see the joy in his smile during his daycare playdates and sleepovers. A huge thank you to the incredible team at Wanderlust for creating such a wonderful environment where my dog is safe, loved, and so happy he never wants to leave!
We love this place. We were looking for a location for our high-energy Boston Terrier puppy. We found it at Wanderlust Dogs. Our dog comes home and wants to sleep. We have tried other daycare locations and this is the best. We would definitely board our dog there as well. Can’t say enough great things.
My dog had an amazing experience! Pickup and drop off were effortless and fast. My pup was super excited when he arrived and came home very exhausted after a day full of play. It was also great to receive updates and photos via the online portal. Highly recommend!
We absolutely LOVE Wanderlust. This top notch doggie daycare in Delray couldn’t be better. From the staff, to the very impressive (and extremely clean) indoor facility, to the pricing and hours, it’s exactly the kind of place we were looking for in a “camp” to take our dog a couple times a week. And thanks to their daily report card pictures, we know our pup loves Wanderlust as much as us! ❤️
My 6 year old, male, charged golden retriever Sheamus loves Wanderlust! Super excited when we drive through the parking lot arriving. Staff are super passionate about what they do, beautiful facility – very reasonable $ Dogs are tops !! they need the top spot. Best place I have found in South County. We brought our pup for evaluation & he passed with flying colors. Impressed by the staff very friendly & experienced. We are very happy & our precious pup will be there for 2 days a week & made reservations for boarding. Just what we were looking for.
This was the best experience for our dog EVER! The facility is incredible as is the staff. They put the dogs in small groups based on temperament so the dogs aren’t stressed. They sent photos of our pup twice a day that were hysterical (they tucked him in at night with a blanket). Really kept us informed that he was having a great time (no other place ever did that). Two days after we picked him up they texted me to see how he was and that they miss him. What an amazing facility. I can’t say enough nice things. ❤️

She has imagination about locations such as dog friendly places Parks, trails , lakes Beaches, you name it she does it on a one to one. My dog Tickles looks forward to Dana's daily arrival( mommy is headed for surgery so I cannot give her the daily walks, although she gets plenty of love) always something New and different. Dana does not look at her watch to see when time is up unless of course you want that. Tickles and I cannot thank Dana for all she does with Grace and fun. You can rest assured when your pet returns they will have wonderful dreams of their time With Dana.

Dana has been watching my dogs for the past month while I am out of town on an emergency. Prior to this she was walking my four "babies" three times a day for months. I was worried when I was called away (who would be able to take care of my dogs?). Once Dana said she would help me I knew there was nothing to be concerned about. I have cameras in my home and I never thought I would find someone who loved my dogs as much as I do!. Dana is professional, on time, and so caring she even takes them to vet visits! CANT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH!
Dana is the best sitter EVER! she is so great with our Finley and treats her as if she were her own. Finley is in the best mood when we come home from a trip. She even stays overnight for us so that she is not alone. Dana is very professional and always sends pictures too. Thank you Dana for all you do and giving my husband and I peace of mind while away.
Dana is the best! If you need a dog walker in the Delray area that you can rely on Dana is your answer. She has 2 sweet pups of her own, but plenty of love left over for all of her 4-legged clients. Dana always has a quick response time which is great if you need her last minute.
Dana has been babysitting my maltese mix for over 8 years now, always available and my dog is so happy there with her two dogs of her own. Treats her like one of the family. I highly recommend her services…
I hired Dana when I was admitted to the hospital as an emergency. I was frantic . Hired Dana and offered to pay upfront for her services. She declined. She watched by dogs 2,times I got home from the hospital in the late evening Dana demanded payment immediately. I told her if pay her in12 hours in the morning… as I just got home. Dana went bizerk…… name calling, threats , telling me she’d call animal control on me.. Said my cocker went to bite her ??? Not likely at 12 yrs old. She threatened to tell all walkers not to help me. Sent hourly threats. She’s crazy. Do not yrust her in uougvhomdvorveuthbuour pets

The person that wrote the review below me is full of what comes out of a dog's hind end. She is just having a temper tantrum because dana, as a responsible pet caretaker, noticed that miss ANN KENNY did not have her dog on a leash, which not only violates Palm Beach County leash laws, it also endangers the dog in question and other dogs and people. The dog that ANN KENNY walks without a leash is aggressive and Dana is not the first to report her, but ANN KENNY is a vindictive whiny toddler disguised as an adult so she decided to retaliate by writing a fake review of a dedicated and wonderful dog lover. Just ignore ANN KENNY and her fake reviews and if she acts aggressive towards you please be careful, because ANN KENNY is mentally unstable. Just found out that ANN TERESE KENNY is a lawyer, in addition to being a liar. A lawyer that is unaware of local laws and/or chooses to ignore them and then writes fake reviews.
