Marana was a great host. The sit I completed was immediately after another sitter. Before both sits, Marana invited both sitters for an introductory meeting during which we got to know each other, see what needed to be done, especially as the two cats are more senior, and to get to meet each other. This made the entire handover process between the two sitters very smooth and easy! The two cats, Sadhu and Saber, are very chilled and easy to be around. They will usually let you know when they want cuddles or food, and are never too far to sneak an unexpected cuddle in. Marana's home is clean and neat. It is very close to amenities like grocery stores, public transport routes and veterinary services. From her porch there is also an amazing view of Table Mountain, which is always welcome. This was a great sit - well organised and well enjoyed!
What a nice time we had watching Abe for Jim, Amy and Joel while they took their holiday back to the mainland. Abe was such a good company. He never barked -- we took him everywhere with us exploring the island. Kailua has gorgeous beaches and is an easy drive to anywhere else on the island. We recommend this as a very easy sit mostly due to Abe being a very easy, laid back, undemanding, and most agreeable dog. David and Diane
Jenny and Neal, the adorable cats, each had unique personalities, making them a delight to be around. Dave and George were warm and welcoming hosts with a lovely, cozy house. Throughout my stay, they ensured I had everything I needed, and their helpful tips and smooth communication made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Sunee’s home and pets were a pleasant delight. She is super great with instructions and communication. The pets are self sufficient and make great coworkers if you work remote. She has everything you need and was always quick to answer any questions.
This was an awesome sit! Beautiful home and yard; Elaine was welcoming, organized and lovely…and my new furry friends are the sweetest and most polite dogs ever!!! Very hard to say goodbye to those sweet faces!

Our Bichon, Archie, went for his summer holidays with Lynne where she went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and looked after. We got daily updates and pictures of what he had been up to, he was really happy and relaxed with new doggie friends. He loved his home from home. He normally goes to family when we are on holiday but we were all away at the same time. I would not hesitate to use Lazy Bones in future, Lynne took Archie at a few weeks notice over the peak July holidays and did her best to make sure she could look after him for the days we needed. Lynne was fantastic and really cares for the dogs in her care. Archie is rather highly strung and barks at everything but he has been a lot calmer since his return - I am not sure what you did but thank you Lynne!

Lynne was very kind to accomodate our greyhound Piper at very short notice and he's had many subsequent visits to her since. She does a phenomenal job and he's always so happy to be there. Lynne herself owns a couple of greyhounds which is fantastic for greyhounds who are maybe not so comfortable around other dogs.
Lynne is amazing! She looks after my dog Odin so well, he is always happy to go to Lynnes. Highly recommend.
Our dog Oscar has been staying with Lynne regularly for nearly 4 years (mostly daytime but with some overnights), and he loves it there. He is treated like one of the family and gets to play with his doggy pals. Lynne has always been accommodating of his and our needs, even if plans need to change at short notice. We couldn't ask for a better daycare and dog hotel,, and Lynne is a lovely person who cares a lot about her guests.
We were travelling through to Seton Sands for a weekend and contacted Lynne at very short notice to look after our dog for a few hours whilst we took the kids into the city for a day. Lynne was very accommodating and helpful. Her collection and pick up hours were flexible and allowed us to enjoy a family weekend away and still be able to take the dog with us. Highly recommend lazy bones dogs. Thanks again Lynn.
Went up with Maggie our bulldog to see Lynne to see if she could stay there in September when we go on holiday what a warm welcome and the house is doggiefied beds TV on for them back garden full and I mean full of different types of toys and a doggie sand pit.i knew from Maggie's behaviour she liked Lyynne and will be happy to stay with her.you couldn't meet a nicer person and her own dogs are lovely very chilled out.if your thinking of going on holiday please phone lynne your prince or princess will be in safe hands ali Wilson 🐶

My dogs have been vacationing at Woodside for 7 years. They are happy on arrival. I know they are safe and well looked after. Fantastic team and venue.
This is an excellent kennel. My dogs were in the kennel for a month and were very well cared for. My wee girl dog has to have regular medication at specific times and they worked this perfectly especially when they are so busy. I would highly recommend this kennel and have regularly used them for a couple of years now. Well done to Leigh and Chelsey and all the workers there. Thank you for caring for my dogs so well. I think they are missing you all.😍
So glad I found Woodside! We left our Harvey for 2 weeks and it was lovely to see photos on Facebook of him running round the paddock with the other dogs there, he looked like he was having a great time! A very clean kennels with lovely staff. Highly recommend!

Have been using Woodside for a few years, my dogs love it, get to meet up with their pals for their holidays, they don't want to leave, staff know all the dogs and treat them like their own.

I've been taking my two greyhounds to Valley Forge for the past couple of years and they've always been excellent. Whenever I'm dropping my dogs off they're always very excited to see everyone with their helicopter tails. It shows that they obviously have a great time there. I also really enjoy seeing the pupdates on the Facebook page. As I'm unfortunately moving abroad, today was the last day I'll be needing to use Valley Forge so thank you for looking after my dogs so amazingly well and you'll be missed!
I remember being nervous the first time we left our puppy anywhere. Since she first stayed here a couple of years ago, however, she has been back several times and always loves her stay! Caroline and her team here are the kindest and most caring people you could possibly wish to leave your pets with. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Thank you for taking such good care of Remy so we could have a much needed holiday. It was her first kennel experience and Caroline kept us well informed about her well being and sent pictures. She's adjusted really well now that she's home again. Will definitely be using Valley Forge again in future.

We come to Valley Forge for grooming, kennels and cattery. The grooming service is excellent - Joyce has worked skillfully with one of our dogs who was extremely nervous about being groomed but now accepts a full trim, almost happily! Our spaniel stays at the kennel if we are away and readily trots in - she is always delighted to see Caroline. And lastly, our elderly special needs cat has stayed here. This was daunting for us as he needs particular medical attention. However, he was well looked after with his individual needs catered to, which include medication, diet, way his food is prepared, continence issue, heat pads and more... I couldn't recommend Valley Forge more. We really do appreciate their care, skill and hard work with our animals.
Ella absolutely LOVES her time here - sometimes get the feeling she'd quite happily stay longer! The care and attention has been second to none and her individual needs are totally looked after. It's always nerve wracking to leave your pets but the facebook updates are hysterical and let you relax and know you're in very safe hands.

I take my dog here every time we need to out him in kennels. My dog can be quite nervous but he loves it here. He runs over to the staff as soon as we arrive. Staff are amazing and play with the dogs on a one to one basis so the dogs get plenty attention too. Wouldn't leave my dog anywhere else.
We had never left our dog at a kennel before and we were so nervous, but she was so well taken care of. We have no reservations leaving her at this lovely kennel. We know that she got a lot of attention, because when we picked her, our very sensitive mongrel, was acting completely happy and normal. They said they practiced some training with her because she is so shy. They really take the time to get to know your dog.
I have used Valley Forge several times over the years for our three dogs. The attention and care that Caroline and Christine provide is second to none! Our three bunked together comfortably and loved staying there. Having an onsite groomer (Joyce) is a great bonus and the craft gift shop is a lovely creative touch too.
Unfortunately, my dog was involved in an ‘incident’ while in their care. I spoke with bark n fly on the phone at 12pm 7th of March while at work and was told that a dog had ran over to mine and had bitten him on the ear (“nipped”) and there were some marks left underneath his front shoulder. We were told that he did not need picked up early and was fine after the incident as he was acting like himself. I was told it was up to owners if they wanted to opt for stitches on the ear or let it heal itself but to possibly get some antibiotics from the vet to avoid infection. I had booked my dog into the vet just to be sure. I was told the dogs had been separated and that the other owner would be told about the incident. I was also told that it would’ve been my dog that would get moved groups in future as he had been placed with the larger dogs. When I arrived to collect my dog, he came limping down the steps and I initially was looking for the cut on his ear when I noticed there was a major cut on his leg. After seeing my dog close up I could tell he would need stitches at the top of his leg and there would definitely be no ‘owner choice’ in regards to his wound. The worker told me he had been asleep for the last 2 hours which is very out of character for my young beagle and he has never done that while at day care before. I told the worker that he clearly needs stitches and they looked at his wound and addressed my dog and asked him if he had been “licking it while I wasn’t watching”. No amount of licking could have caused the open wound on his arm, I had no response to this and picked him up to go to the vets. I could see that my dog had been bitten multiple times and this was not a result of playing. I had to lift my dog to the car as he refused to walk any further and I left in tears. After taking my dog to the vet, they could see that he would need stitches and booked him in for the following morning. He had to be injected with antibiotics and painkillers, wound cleaned and given a cone to stop him making the cut worse. My insurance covered the £550 vet bills but I paid £160 excess for his injuries. In his procedure he had to get 3 different lots of stitches. After seeking a dog walker, they also had a look at the injuries and described it as he had clearly been mauled by the other dog. I was not told that the other dog who had done this would no longer be allowed to attend the daycare and I also feel upset that their owner will not know the extent of the incident and will not hear the final outcome. I had no confirmation about what had been said to the other owner. I wish that I had known the extent of his injury and I would have collected him straight away and taken him to the vet rather than him being hurt and left for 4 hours. Since then, Bark N Fly told me that they would pay me back the excess amount of £160 which took 2 months to receive back. I am only posting my experience now as although I stopped using their services I feel that other dogs owners should know about my dogs experience using Bark N Fly.
We've used Bark n Fly's services several times now and have been impressed each time. The gentleman that does the pick up is always kind and patient, and when we went to the place in person the staff were also helpful. We thought the facilities were impressive, too. Our dog (pictured in our local park) is very nervous of people but Bark n Fly assured us she'd be okay and have been most professional. I would absolutely recommend them if you need your dog cared for.
My pup Daisy loves the day care facilities at Bark n Fly. The pickup/drop off service is really handy. Daisy recently stayed for just under a week in the boarding services and had a great time, I appreciated the pictures of her playing and living her best life! Will definitely keep using Bark n Fly and highly recommend
This is the first time we have used kennels for our two dogs Winnie and Mylo, Dawn and her team were great and helped us get everything organised for their stay. Winnie is a typical outgoing wee white fluff ball but Mylo is quite a nervous dog but they were so good and caring with him and the genuine affection shown by Abby and the other staff helped him relax, come out of his shell and enjoy his stay. This was our first time using the boarding service at Bark n Fly. When we picked our Westie Mara up after a wee, she tried to run back inside the building - so she must have absolutely loved it! Staff were friendly and gave some nice feedback on her stay. We will definitely use you again when we go away.
20 min waiting for someone at reception and nothing. Looks like I will lose my appointment at 10am due to not being able to leave my dogs for care. If you leave your dog here make sure you have enough, more than enough time. Looks like a nice place but no one at the front. Edited review - Don’t know how to reply to the “lies” I called - someone said would be there soon (disregarding the las two, dialled by mistake) so yes, there are calls. Be aware that someone answered so this is not a lie - perhaps you don’t know the call is registered on the callers phone. I was there at 9:22 with one of my dogs outside - took the picture because I knew this would be contested. So, yes, I did follow the instructions given in the door and yet nothing. Again, looks like a nice place but give yourself plenty, plenty of time and maybe someone will be at the reception.
Fantastic day care and boarding centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, and super convenient pick up / drop off service. When our dog was a puppy we really liked that we could get her acclimated to being away by starting with a half day at day care, progressing to a full day, and then to overnight stays. Our dog always loves her time there and comes home very sleepy from all the playing!

The Bark n Fly is amazing! They’re services are great! They picked up and delivered our dogs and both drivers were friendly, helpful and so patient with Ruby and Leia! We also could follow them on Instagram and check how much fun the dogs had playing around! They arrived home very happy (and equally exhausted because of the great time they had). I have no words to express how grateful we are to have found such nice people to take care of them while we are away 💙
We have a very active 18 months old GSP, who has struggled with home boarding so decided to try Bark’n’Fly. The team were very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to help her adjust to staying overnight. Coco has now been going for 3 months and her separation anxiety is gone! She recognises the staff and can’t wait to play in the fields with all the other dogs. We love checking Instagram to see if we can see a picture of Coco having fun on their account! I recommend the team and the set up, especially if you have an active dog, it’s great for them to be able to play all day
From the moment our dachshund Frank stepped into 'In the Doghouse' home boarding, it was clear he was in for a treat. Jen and her team introduced him to Lilly, Baxter, Penny, and Paolo during the meet and greet, making him feel right at home among his furry friends. Every day, Frank relished lengthy beach walks with the gang, soaking in the joy of the outdoors. Jen's personalised care made us feel like Frank was part of their family, we highly recommend this home boarding experience to anyone seeking a warm, loving environment for their beloved pets.
As our dogs are not just pets they are family, it is very hard to find people who we can fully entrust and have peace of mind whist we leave them. We can not fault Jenni and her care, we have 3 large breed dogs one of which has nervous aggressive issues, so obviously we wouldn't dream of leaving him in a home boarding situation, clearly this is setting him up for failure and putting other dogs at risk. However our other 2 love Jenni and family and we don't give a second thought to leaving them. I am highly picky as where I leave my babies and cannot recommend this place enough, not only do I fully trust the care and love they receive I also trust their choice of client therefore I'm assured my pets will be safe and happy. Well done guys great to see people doing a job for the love of animals and putting their needs 1st 👍

Lots of updates on all the fun Hunter was having with the other dogs and when Hunter was unwell they were totally exceptional in the love and care they gave her until we returned from holiday. Since moving 2 years ago we have used In the Dog House regularly for our miniature schnauzer Bruno. To say he adores going is an understatement as he impatiently scratches at their door to get in or by their gate even if he’s not going when out on a walk. I absolutely love that I can see how happy he is and know that Jenni, Gordon and Georgia treat him just as if he is theirs when they are looking after them. Best dog sitters we have used by far!!
With 2 large bouncy dogs I’m extremely cautious about leaving them with anyone, and both being rescues they have their “quirks”... Jenni took the time to meet us all beforehand, and took in all my rabbling and concerns, and made me feel much more relaxed about them staying. From the minute they got to “in the dog house” I could see they were given the care and attention as if they were Jenni & Gordon’s own. The regular photos and updates on social media further confirmed it! Kael & Finn had an absolute blast, and were spoiled rotten with love and exciting walks. Wonderful people, offering nothing less than a 5 star service. Cannot recommend enough.
Jenni and Gordon and their daughter Georgia are the best there is. Millie loves going there and it really is home from home. I just wouldn’t go anywhere else. Every time we pass the house Millie keeps trying to get back in. Every time she sees them she practically wets herself with excitement. I love that we have somewhere for Millie to go where she is loved, is safe and is happy.
Cannot fault the service provided by In The Dog House. The owners are lovely and want your dog to be as happy with them as they are in their homes. Dogs get fantastic walks and fun (woods, rivers, the park) and I love that all dogs that stay are vetted beforehand to make sure they are friendly, will fit in with 'the pack' and not cause anyone's dog anxiety. My dog loves staying 'ITDH' and it show by his waggy tail. I also love that there is no limit to the number of cuddles he gets, he gets to sleep on the couch and we get photo updates while our dog stays with them. If I could give 10 stars I would!
2 nights cost me £270, my son had to collect the dog after 2 nights, no refunds. Ruby hated her stay there.
Attitude! Would NOT recommend.she says my dog is aggressive, she can't control her dogs, attacked a little dog in the village the other week.Did she apologize........ We use Patchwork Petcare as our go-to any time we are needing a hand with our bunnies. 2023 has been particularly busy for us and Catriona has been available for our rabbits offering security, flexibility and the reliability that we have needed during this time. I am quite particular about how my rabbits are cared for and I follow all welfare guidelines which are continually developing. Patchwork Petcare are happy to follow the specific guidelines that I set and show a good understanding of the pet. Rabbits care can be misunderstood and I appreciate Catriona's patience with my instructions and the care and attention to detail offered. The software system that Patchwork Petcare use is fab and easy to use, you can input all the details you think are necessary, view your schedule and invoices as well as communicate via the website. I had been let down in the past by a pet sitter who did not communicate with me when I felt it was needed and Catriona is very on the ball with communication and relaying relevant information (without bothering you on your holiday). We love to get daily updates and pictures of our bouncy bunnies and know that they are happy and comfortable. It is unusual having someone come to your home when you are not in, but I trust Catriona completely with my home and most importantly my adored pets!
Catriona has been absolutely Terrific, arriving twice a day and sharing regular updates and photos of our cat Dexter, who seemed to have a great time while we were on holidays. Very loving atmosphere with brilliant service
last month was the first time since we have Lucy, our rescue dog, that we had to leave her for 10 days and it was hard, we could leave her with friends but it was too much responsibility because she's never been really trained. We decided to pay a profesional and choose Joanna... we couldn't decided anything better! Not just that we were totally relax about how well she was and Joanna has to deal with me sending her texts, but since then it is easier to walk Lucy, she is not pulling all the time the lead and she is easier going with other dogs when she met them. Best money invested ever! But the most important thing is we can see that Lucy had an amazing time and she is very fond on Joanna. I would highly recommend her!
I cannot recommend Joanna enough. My cocker spaniel puppy Wilson loves spending time with all his doggie friends & humans! He is now 5 months old, full of energy and naughtiness... I always know he is well cared for, all his puppy needs met and treated like one of the family. I honestly couldn't put him anywhere else.
