Caroline and her family were excellent house and pet sitters. She communicated openly, was diligent in her care of the animals, and looked after the house beautifully. I would recommend Caroline and Stephen to anyone wanting to go on holiday and have complete peace of mind that all will be well with their pets and home.
Beautiful sitting in Newbury! It was a pleasure taking care of Lockie and Pucci for the weekend while Snoop was away with them. Angela and Graeme were very kind, explaining everything to me when I arrived. Communication was easy, and I felt very welcomed. I had the pleasure of meeting two of their daughters, who were also very friendly. The house has beautiful views of the countryside, and there’s a lovely walk along the canal to the village. Upon their return, they kindly gave me a ride to the train station. This is definitely a sitting I recommend, and I would love to come back! Thank you so much for everything, Angela!
This was our first housesit and as we were abroad until the week before the sit started, we didn’t even meet Cate until we arrived. Given it was such a long sit, we were overwhelmed by Cate’s trust in us and very happy to find out how beautiful the house and area were. Puffin was a little wary at first but soon settled in with us. She’s a wonderful dog and we miss her terribly now! The house and garden are lovely and we had a wonderful Christmas there with our family. All the neighbours made us welcome and Cate left a comprehensive folder of information for looking after everything. We joined in with the local community, attending the Christmas dinner in the Parish Rooms and Christingle in the Priory. We had an amazing stay. We recommend this housesit and very much hope to return.
I thoroughly enjoyed caring for Teddy and Sparrow (and fish). Connie and family’s home is beautiful, comfortable and very pleasant to stay, I felt right at home. These pets are happy and delightful to be with, and it was fun. Connie gave clear directions and they are very friendly. The neighbors are nice as well and neighborhood is very beautiful and safe. It’s a wonderful area. I appreciate the good communication and making me feel very welcome.
