My sit with Tink at Connie's & Joyce's is one of my favorites. I arrived the day prior to the sit & had a lovely time getting to know Connie & Joyce while they showed me around both the town, & their home, & treated me to dinner. Joyce & Connie are very accommodating who I enjoyed spending time with. Their home is clean & comfortable with sufficient wifi for telecommuting, plenty of TV -both free & subscription channels-, a lovely garden, sunset views, & a pool, which would be very pleasant during the summer months. A car is essential. Tink is a beautiful & fluffy girl who is quiet, well behaved & easy to care for. It took a day or so for her to get comfortable with me, & wasn't interested in snuggling on the couch, but she made sure to get pets when I was in the bathroom & enjoyed getting brushed each night. There's a stray feral kitty named OJ who gets fed every morning, & the less he sees of you, the happier he'll be. I really enjoyed this sit & can recommend sitting for Joyce & Connie in Sebastopol without reservation.
Veronica’s dogs were well behaved and little cuddle bugs. Hanging out with you during the day and sleeping with you at night, they are the best little companions.
Fantastic experience. Marybeth and Bryan are sweet people and walked us through everything to show us the routines of the pets. Marybeth was immediately available for questions throughout our time there. The welcome guide was clear and contained everything we needed to know. The house is setup well for sitters with the mail floor bedroom and bath, and a fully outfitted kitchen and toys to use for recreation. Bella (the gentle giant) and Patch (the small but mighty team leader), were the easiest, calmest, most obedient, cuddliest dogs ever. Holio was illusion for a day or so and then came out for cuddles and to hang out with everyone. Marathon and the fish were easy and would come to see you as soon as you entered the room. I would recommend this sit in a heartbeat and hope to be back again. Thanks Marybeth and Bryan.
We had the most wonderful 5 weeks at Tara and Stephen's home in Moffat. They are a really nice couple, were very easy to plan things with, and communication during the housesit was excellent. Any questions we had were answered. Minty is a gorgeous cat, and although she is quite independent she loved being close to us and receiving strokes and cuddles. She was a joy to get to know, and we all fell in love with her. The house is amazing; large, well-equipped and very comfortable, with gardens on three sides so you can always get some time in the sun - although it is Scotland ;-) The location is tremendous if you enjoy the outdoors, with the hills a short walk or drive away. There is an outdoor shop in the town if you forget your walking socks! Moffat is a great town to spend time in, small enough to be relaxed, yet big enough to have all of the shops you will need. We really enjoyed getting to know it, and found it very friendly. We highly recommend Tara and Stephen's sit. We had a wonderful time, and feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be there and look after Minty.
I thoroughly loved my stay at this wonderful cosy home with the adorable Alfie, who is such a lovely wise and knowing elder. He makes caring for him an absolute joy. We loved our daily walks and when I met with some friends on my third day, who brought their cocker spaniel along, Alfie skipped and played really happily with his new furry friend. The welcome pack and all communication was absolutely excellent and Sophie gave me a great tour and overview before they left. We also kept in touch regularly while they were away. The lounge and wood burner is a wonderful space, very cosy by night and sunny by day! I was easily able to get on with my online work: It was also fun to listen to some of the fabulous collection of records Looking after the 5 hens and collecting their gorgeous eggs was another bonus… I only wish my stay had been longer. I’d be delighted to return see Alfie again and explore the stunning area further.
The girls (Stella & Chopin) were SO incredibly sweet. Stella loved going for walks, and long calm cuddles, while Chopin loved to run around the house and have lots of active play. Both were great sleepers at night and overal SO much fun to be around with. Mabel and Dario (the owners) were nothing but amazing, they gave me a VERY warm welcome.. and it was just so lovely to keep/stay in touch with them throughout the week.. I had an amazing time - oh and the town Camarillo is also very cute! 😍 You won’t be disappointed with this sit!

The owner Rita is absolutely amazing. My two dogs who are a little shy took to Rita almost immediately. Rita took care of our two cats for two weeks while we were out of town. My fiancee is a huge cat person and our last cat sitter was not as attentive as she should have ..been, so my fiancee would not have been comfortable with just anyone watching over her babies. With Rita she was very happy though! Rita was punctual, attentive, and very caring. She got to know our cats personalities and played with then, and they were much happier with her too. Rita was our trusty walker for our goofy goldendoodle for two years. Sadly we moved away, otherwise, we would've continued her services. Rita is very responsive-- prepandemic, she updated us with photos and notes of her walk with our Simba. She was timely, which was a huge key in our trust in her. And we were able to tell she cared about our dog, with the way he waited for her at the dog any time we mentioned her name. When the pandemic goes away and we are able to travel again, I will definitely have him board with his best bud Rita!

We used J&J PetCare during the summer of 2023 to take care of our two dogs (a yorkie and a chihuahua) over the course of 10 days when we were away, and we couldn't be more impressed with the service! They made apartment visits twice a day for our paper-trained pups, ensuring they were fed, had plenty of fresh water, and were treated to delicious treats. What really stood out was their attention to detail and the love they showed our dogs. They sent us regular videos and pictures, which made us feel so connected to our pups while we were away. It was clear they spent a lot of time playing and engaging with them during each visit, keeping them happy and entertained. Additionally, they always cleaned up the wee wee pads and replaced them with fresh ones, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend J&J Petcare in a heartbeat. J&J walks our dog Coco daily and on most days we get a photo of Coco showing her having a wonderful time on her walk. They are reliable and flexible and have really helped us out in emergencies. It is apparent that they LOVE animals - so gentle and loving with our pets. We highly recommend them. They sent us this photo of Coco on her walk one day (see attached).

Christian and Jordan are the best! They’ve watched my yellow lab, Molly Grace, for the past 5 years and I never had a worry when they were with her. They are very responsible, friendly, helpful and kind. I had a family emergency once so they even took Molly on their camping trip! Jordan and Christian have watched our three cats and small dog on numerous occasions and our pets love them. We have very needy pets and they were so spoiled and loved by them. Before my husband and I would book a trip, we would text them to see if they were available because we don't trust our pets to anyone else. We had a very temperamental cat who ruled the house and the first time they both came over to meet her, she loved them and didn't try to hiss at them; I swear they are pet whisperers. LOL. Not only do we trust these two with our fur babies but also with our house and the peace of mind that they will take care of any sort of emergency that may arise. One time when we were on vacation Christian sent me a photo of our dog Lilly and him having lunch at Lazy Dog, it was so darn cute. They truly do love and spoil your pets like they were their own.

Alberto walked my black lab for a full year. He did a great job, even with my dog not being comfortable with men he was able to form a great relationship with him. Additionally, if I needed a last minute walk he was always able to fit my dog in. The only down side I wish they did have was GPS navigation but other than that the app was easy to use and helpful. Nicole, Kim and the rest of the crew take such good care of our Ellie - they have helped increase her confidence so much, and they expose her to new experiences and adventures every day she is with them! I love how daycare with Pawzitively Furbulous involves so much more fun and interactive play than we could ever get from a Manhattan-based doggie daycare (where the dogs sit inside all day and have very little personal interaction), and the days consist of fun activities like teaching the dogs to swim in a pool! Everyone with a furry baby knows you just can’t leave your kids with just any one. Your pooch will be safe with The team at Pawzitively Furbulous! We have used their services for boarding many times and each time we have been happy. We had an early flight and were planning on dropping our dog off and they offered to pick her up😃 On one of her stays, she even came home having had a bath! We know she is in good hands because she is always sad seeing the suitcases come out, but always happy when we leave her with Kim. Highly recommend!
I cannot say how amazing Pawzitively Furbulous is! I came to them after my 1.5 year old bulldog was "kicked out" of another day care place for being to rough. Kim took the time to meet us on a Saturday afternoon so i can explain all the quirky traits of my dog and seeing if she still wanted to take him on, them being the amazing dog lovers they are, welcomed the challenge. The first few times I dropped him off I was afraid he was going to get kicked out again, because i thought I had a bad dog, since that is what the other day care places told me, so i would send tons of helicopter mom text messages to Kim asking how he's doing and I would receive immediate feedback of pictures and texts how great he is doing! (they always do this, tons of pics and text messages given you comfort your pup is doing great). The amount of patience, knowledge and love of all dogs is amazing and you will not find else where, I know because I took my "bad" dog to a few places before finding Pawzitively. We have been clients for almost a year now and the quality and service continues to exceed excellence. Where else can you send your dog daycare and he comes back with his teeth brushed, nails cut and smells like roses from the bath they gave him! Being a bully he has allergies they have also helped me change his food and have really helped getting his hot spots under control. My list can go on and on how amazing they are and they treat your dog like their own and what else do you want when you go away and need your dog to be with loving family because this business becomes family.

I had a an emergency & I came across Chica Bow Wow for my older special needs furry girl child. I needed someone super special, understanding, intelligent & kind, immediately. I couldn't even give 24 hours notice. The owner Barbara called me right back. She promised to help. I texted my instructions for my girls care in the midst of my madness and she kept up with every instruction from food to meds, from quirky to specific tasks she followed. She assured me all would be fine. She has so much experience, she didn't need me to hold her hand, she took the lead and saved both me and my kid. She even came to my home because I had to leave before I could see her. I took a leap of faith & what a blessing. I am forever in her gratitude. I don't think I could have been this fortunate. I will use Chica as long as I have furry babies. Everything was perfect & honestly you expect little mistakes, but that's not at all what happened. My dog girly is older, she needs medication, special food, extra walks & literally everything was done. Barbara even went to my vet in Cliffside Park & got meds for me because I didn't have enough when I had to leave. Bottom lines... I have in all the years of being with my fur baby, i haven't left her, but i had to & I now I'm never going to be afraid again. She makes her clients her family. They're professional in the most loving of ways. There's seemingly no request to big or to small. Keep the ones you love in Chicas care, you'll never have a worry, you'll not need to be afraid. My experience has been literally life saving & my rescue was Chica Bow Wow. Don't even bother looking elsewhere. Barbara is extremely professional and reliable. My dog warmed up to her right away during the meet and greet, and my dog is very timid around strangers so it was an immediate great sign. Barbara has a very calm and soothing aura about her, which is probably why dogs love her so much. She's done overnight stays in my apartment when I travel and takes great care of my dog. She uses the DoTimely app so you can keep track of when the walks start and stop, where they walk, if your sog went to the bathroom, and any other notes. Peace of mind with Barbara. Highly recommend!

Love the Perfect Pooch. I found them through Google and Yelp reviews and the reviews are so accurate. I was so worried as a new dog owner and they treat my dog with such care. They started watching him before he was fully vaccinated so more pet sitting and they were fantastic. I got tons of updates and pics and they truly care for the pets. They’re great about notes and requests and did a great job feeding him and keeping him entertained. I most recently tried their overnight service which was fantastic and didn’t disrupt my puppy’s routine. I always feel like my dog is cared for by folks (especially Joy!) who love dogs and take extra care to treat my puppy with kindness -highly recommended.
Leeland takes such good care of our 2 big pups! Her walkers are caring and detailed. My dogs love them and look forward walks with licks and kisses. We receive photos from each outing!
Maggie is pure joy. She's also a 55lb diva who needs a long walk every day to keep her being a pure joy as my workday co-pilot. I had a scary experience with a solo dog walker, and then I found Leeland, who heads the Perfect Pooch. Lili, Gable, Raeven and sometimes Leland herself walk Maggie both alone, and sometimes with great buddies. I've seen them outside from a distance, and know how Maggie is super excited when it's time for their arrival. Maya stayed with Maggie while we were away, too. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Maggie gets her walk (no matter the weather). The portal is very easy to use for communication, and payment, too.
I have been using perfect pooch for cat sitting for several months now. They have watched our cats during several trips. It is easy to schedule via their app, they are reliable, take good care of our cats, and always send follow up notes and pictures. As an added bonus - they also leave our apartment tidy - vacuuming up litter and taking out the cat food tins.
We moved to the UWS fulltime in 2022 and are so grateful to have found Leeland and her team at The Perfect Pooch. They are caring, professional, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. It gives us such peace of mind to know our pup is in their hands for walks, boarding, and dog sitting.

New to the city and have been using the perfect pooch for over a month and weve been so happy. They use an app to message, schedule, and share all the happenings including real time mapped walks, timestamped visits, photos and a sweet message from the walker. Leeland the business owner is wonderful and communicative and came to meet our dog and then set up a meet up with our incredible primary walker Rheanna! Rheanna has been so great with our dog Finley, so respectful of our space and just an all around great person. Thank you for all you do for Finley!
My experience with The Perfect Pooch has been overly positive. The business owner is very responsive, and helps to do all booking, scheduling, payment, and messaging through a commonly used app. All employees have been trustworthy in my home, including the business owner who shares in the workload during busy weekends. Employees are largely detail oriented as well as cat-friendly and very patient even in the face of very shy cats who can lock themselves in a room.
I've been using The Perfect Pooch NYC for about a year now, and they take the BEST care of my little chihuahua! He was a COVID puppy, so I hadn't had to leave him with a walker/sitter before, but Leeland and her team are so professional, caring, and warm that I felt comfortable instantly. My dog be a little feisty (to put it nicely) but he adores his walker Ashley, and she keeps him happy and in check on their daily Central Park walks. I've also used them for overnight boarding, and was so impressed with the quality of care and updates. Can't recommend Leeland, Ashley, and the Perfect Pooch team enough!
As a very satisfied customer of the Perfect Pooch for a few years now, I have relied upon them for overnight pet sitting, walks, and at-home puppy sitting for three of my large breed dogs. I am so incredibly grateful to have them in my life. Leeland is a joy to work with, and the walkers are highly skilled, well trained, loving, and perennially punctual. However, an even higher recommendation comes from my dogs—they are so happy to see the walkers when they arrive that they completely forget I exist.
Obsessed with the Mutt Hutt’e daycare! Our pups love going there. It gives a very “living room” vibe which is perfect for our senior dogs who just want to chill and sniff all dogs. They have space to leave a carrier and send photos from daycare!
My dog Snuggles loved Mutt Hutt. The staff became his second family, showering him with love and attention during his daycare visits. While the space was always well maintained and provided a comfortable and welcoming environment and allowed him plenty of opportunities for fun and socialization, leaving him happy and tired every evening. We can't recommend Mutt Hutt enough!
PLEASE READ! I will no longer be taking my dog to Mutt Hutt or A Cut Above due to an alarming incident at Mutt Hutt in October 2023. On a Sunday evening, I picked up my dog from a one-night stay at Mutt Hutt, and when we got in the car, I noticed that his ear was bleeding significantly. He is a white dog, so this would be hard to miss under adequate supervision. This occurred after hours and our vet was closed, so I raced to the urgent care vet, where my dog needed emergency stitches for what the vets determined was a deep bite. I understand that dog bites are a risk of boarding, but this negligence is completely unacceptable. It is deeply problematic that the employees either missed the attack, chose not to tell me, or worse - both. The manager was apologetic when I spoke to her the next day and agreed to refund the boarding fee and the $500 vet bill. However, it is now almost two months and many unanswered phone calls, texts, and voicemails later, I have yet to see a refund. My friends are no longer taking their dogs to Mutt Hutt, and several dog owners in my neighborhood are second-guessing as well. You're better off paying more money to go to another daycare in hopes of safety for your dog and a responsible, accountable staff.
We love the Mutt Hutt! Our dog loves the staff here and she always seems well cared for. So cute - today (Feb 13th) when I picked her up from a day stay, they had taken valentines day photos of the dogs - gave us a free magnet of our dog and a doggie valentines cookie!! What adorable customer service!
Mutt Hutt takes great care of our little mutt Coco. They send us pictures so we can see she's having a good time, and she's always happy and healthy when we pick her up. (Actually, she's usually tired from playing with the other pups when we get her! She sleeps well and happy) We've done day care, and also overnight boarding for the weekend. Would recommend as a good daycare in the city.
Love this place and my dog loves it too! We’ve been coming here since he was a puppy. The people who work here are very friendly and attentive. My dog loves every single one of them. Left him overnight once and there’s always someone sleeping with them so the dogs don’t sleep alone. This is my go to place.
We love Mutt Hutt! We send our dog, Helen, to daycare and board here. We were immediately comfortable with sending Helen, knowing that it's run by the same people as A Cut Above (groomer)--they're consummate professionals and real dog lovers. Helen is fairly shy and very skeptical of new places, but quickly warmed up to Mutt Hutt and the staff here. It takes a lot for her to get excited about seeing someone other than her parents, but she gets excited to see the folks at Mutt Hutt. You can see into one of the dog rooms when you walk in, and every time I've picked Helen up I see a staff member playing with dogs in the room, and the dogs all looking happy (and safe). Highly recommend!
Mutt Hutt is great! It's run by the same people as the two A Cut Above pet groomer locations on the Upper West Side, and shares some of the same staff. Every time I go in, they're so excited to see my dog, and she is clearly excited to see them - I can even see through the window into the main room, where she leaps on to the sofa to greet the staff member there. The facility itself is clean and spacious - both the small dog and large dog rooms have wooden floors and comfy furnishings for the dogs. The small dog room you can see into from the main entrance, but they're also happy and proud to give tours. I cannot recommend this more highly - what a great addition to the neighborhood!

Kathy sends my photos from every visit, makes sure she gets all food and medicine, spends time playing with her, and keeps litter box clean. I am so grateful that I am able to go away stress free!!! Kathy is amazing with our two guinea pigs, Beanie and Boots. She has taken care of them more times than I can count now. She’s extremely communicative and takes such good care of them. I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone in need of a good, reliable pet sitter.
Kathy is fantastic. She made my dog very comfortable from the first time she watched him and is so reliable. I call her whenever I need to leave town and I know that my boy will be in very good hands. I highly recommend her!
It went great. He really loves and understands animals, and that shows in the quality of care and personal attention he gives his charges. My dog became best of friends with his dog, Nico, and loved socializing with his other clients' dogs (very few on any given days, since he does not do big group walks). My dog's mood visibly improved as a result of the social and physical activity that he provided. He could not have loved or taken better care of my dog if she were his own. Description of work: Andre, The Pet Concierge, took wonderful care of my dog nearly every weekday and overnight on weekends and business trips when I was away from home. He picked her up at my place each morning and gave her plenty of walks and lots of play and rest time--and fed her meals when I worked late. As she grew older, he carried her up and down stairs and made sure she remained as comfortable as possible.
I have used The Pet Concierge with Andre Kourkoulis for the last ten years. He walked my dog Lucas who sadly passed away last year. Andre would take him to the vet, stay for the appointment and administer the medication while I was at work which was a blessing. He also cares for Chloe my cat. She is 7 and is diabetic. Andre administers her medications and IV as well. I’m happy to have found somebody who truly cares about my babies as I do. He’s pricey but well worth it. I prefer to pay for individualized care. When Lucas was alive Andre only walked him alone. I never wanted my dog with a group of ten dogs. I’m so happy to have The Pet Concierge in my life. The best in Manhattan if you ask me. Five star service.
I have used Andre for the last 8 years. He takes such good care of Alex. Alex is 9 now and is on medication. Andre administers his meds and makes sure he has an individual walk as my dog isn’t the friendliest. I trust him with my dog and my home. Thanks Andre!
We were really scared of leaving our kitty for the weekend. But he made us feel safe, and all the questions he did let us know that he was on point of everything and knew what he was doing, he kept us updated every time, it was not necessary to text him to ask him, he will just send his daily update on time. Thank you so much for all the work you did with our lilo.

TruWalks has been a most excellent dog walking service for me for the last 6 years. They walked and cared for my elderly whippet and have been with my now almost 2 year old pup since he first started walking outside. Everyone has been very professional - always reliable and knowledgeable. They are very caring and you can tell they truly love dogs! I’m sad that because I’m moving from the neighborhood I won’t be able to continue with them.
Truly I cannot say enough wonderful things about TruWalks. We have a sassy 90lb American Akita (Kuma) who is suspicious of strangers and does not like strangers in the home. We had tried to board her at a facility, leave her with friends/ family or have friends/ family stay in our home but no one wanted to watch her (mostly because they were afraid or they couldn't keep her with other dogs). My fiancé and I were convinced that we would never be able to take a vacation together. However, our dog trainer recommended we reach out to William from TruWalks and he is FANTASTIC! What makes him so great is he UNDERSTANDS dogs. Within 2 weeks my dog was in love with him! He stayed at our place and watched her while my fiancé and I took our first trip since we got Kuma. We got frequent updates and pictures and I felt confident Kuma was in good hands. He is also working with others on the TruWalks team to introduce them to Kuma so that we have walkers available whenever we need them. HIGHLY recommend using TruWalks.
Daniel and William are the best! Gentle, kind, efficient and responsive! They made my trip to NYC possible! ( arrived at my hotel only to find out my dog was not able to be left unattended! ) Since is was a mixed work/play trip it would have been a disaster! Truwalk literally saved me and my dog was happy and calm when I picked him up! In fact I loved being near the park and William and Daniel I may end up moving to upper West Side!

My family can’t say enough good things about TruWalks. As a family with a new “quarantine” puppy, Truwalks came into our lives at the perfect time. Several families in our building were using them and so they came highly recommended. We knew our dog needed to gain some social skills and starting walks with Maddie and Daniel was the perfect thing to do! Our pup loves going on walks and adventures with them. TruWalks always arrives on time, spends the full time with our dog, works on leash skills, and even wipes his paws when they return home. They use an amazing app that provides us with a full report of how the walk went, what happened, and where they walked. Highly recommend them!!!

Not only did they walk our English bulldog (Gouda) weekly but Daniel would watch him overnight if we had to go on trips.
