Wally was the sweetest little guy to make friends with for the week Holly and her family were away on vacation. Although he is getting on in years, he knows his routine around the house and especially knows where his treats are. His couch naps buried under the blankets are adorable. Holly’s home is in a fabulous, quiet and well located neighbourhood close to everything one needs. The home itself is spotless, comfortable and well suited to a remote worker. The back yard was a great place to catch some sun, read a book or just simply enjoy a great quiet break. Would highly recommend this sit with Wally.
Thank you for the privilege of staying in your beautiful home and caring for your lovely ‘kids’ and chooks, what a stunning area you live in, we certainly enjoyed our sadly all too brief visit. Highly recommended
Lulu was such a sweetheart and a very chill companion while I worked from home during the sit. The neighborhood and nearby parks are perfect for walks; even with a big backyard all her own, Lulu preferred to "do her business" while on walks. :-D Lulu gets anxious around other dogs, but it was surprisingly easy to keep our distance (even in the parks!) and redirect her when necessary. The house is very spacious and quiet; it was a great work-from-home location! It's an easy walk to the Orange line "T" train and also very convenient to get an Uber into the city if you prefer. Very cute cafes and stores walking distance as well. I'd definitely sit here again! :)
I loved this housesit. The family were lovely and very welcoming. The house is really nice and you can get the bus into Bath (not that you need to as Bathford is a lovely, friendly village and has a small local shop). Hamish and Emperor are the nicest dogs with lots of energy and love! They were very well behaved and loved the walks. Socks the cat was VV the tortoise were lovely too. I was very sad to say goodbye! Would definitely housesit for Dan Dan again.
Deidra home a d hospitality was lovely and her pets were so well trained! Some of the sweetest by far!
Natalie and family are very relaxed and laid back, giving me a very warm welcome and making me feel at home immediately in their beautiful, comfortable house and garden where I was lucky enough to stay for two weeks. Timmy and Terry made friends with me as soon as I arrived, and although there were moments in the first few days where they were missing their family, they were very happy to get to know me and to enjoy exploring the Isle of Man together (made possible by the generous offer of insuring me on the car). Walks along the coast, on the beaches and through magical glens, followed by relaxing in a home with a sea view were a daily pleasure for the three of us. They are incredibly well-mannered, intelligent and delightful dogs, who are the best of friends, and so loving together! They walked on the lead without me feeling them, never pulling, whilst on pavements, but as soon as we were away from cars I let them off and they delight in sniffing around and exploring freely, immediately responsive to being called and waiting or coming to me. I do hope to be the first to apply for the next date that comes up, and I think this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves dogs, beautiful quiet spaces, coasts, woodlands, history, steam and electric trains, mountains, and a slower pace of life. A smooth ride across on the ferry from the mainland is a lovely way to arrive.
