My husband and I spent a wonderful week with Penny in Burbank. Kurtis and Brittany’s home is quiet, clean and in the heart of Hollywood (near Walt Disney, Warner Bros and Universal). They were both very engaged and easygoing and responded to any questions very quickly. We enjoyed walks around the Toluca Lake neighborhood, past Bob Hope’s and Frank Sinatra’s former homes. Because of Covid, we mostly binge watched lots of Netflix and snuggled up with Penny on their comfy couch in front of their fabulous TV. While she took a day or two to warm up to us, she was my shadow after 48 hours and completely adorable. Vons, Trader Joe’s and Starbucks are an easy and flat walk. We’d highly recommend this sit and would be happy to do it again.
Brooke gave me such detailed instructions on how to care for all her plants, she really set me up for success. I’m so appreciative of our balanced communication while they were away. It never felt like I was expected to do too much and I really wanted to go above and beyond with cleaning to show my appreciation. The house is lovely with all the amenities you would need. I loved all the ceiling fans for good air flow on the hot days and the claw foot tub was a nice bonus for the chilly days. Brooke and Dan are great and would definitely sit again if our schedules align:) I absolutely recommend this sit to anyone who loves plants and is wanting to spend time in Portland.
Juli and Bella were great! Julia was very hospitable and kindly left me treats and everything I could need. If you work remotely know the Wi-Fi worked great. The house was clean and I had no issues while I was there. Bella was such a sweet heart! She’s very friendly with other dogs and people along her walks. I would definetly watch her again 🩷
My boyfriend and I had a great time sitting for Taneal :) She was very easy going and answered quickly whenever we had questions. Her house is beautiful and has a garage!!! Which made me feel waaaay more comfortable about driving to chicago. The dogs were easy to take care and loved snuggles :) i would definitely sot for Taneal again
Sarah and Paul are absolutely lovely people . From the very start we had great communication and info. On arrival we were made very welcome with a lovely paella mmmm . The house and location is fantastic with beautiful views of the lake and valleys . Nearby towns of Rute & Inzajar are beautiful and has great views of the lake . Our favourite town of Lucena was a short drive away . Would make a great place to spend Christmas , which is our only disappointment because we are unavailable to be in Spain for then...….Bev & Mike .
Spent a wonderful 10 days with Ludwig at Ellis' place. Her light and airy flat is certainly 'a room with a view' to behold. Just loved sitting on the balcony taking it in with Ludwig snuggled on my lap. The flat is clean, tidy, easy care and with tastefully curated bits and pieces/artworks and an extensive library of varied books. Access to everything you need for food shopping, cafes or transport is only 5 minutes walk away. Ludwig is a real character. At 2 years old he is still quite a puppy really, enjoying playing with his toys and relating to you. He is very well trained. We enjoyed long walks where he could sniff around or run for a bit in the park opposite. Elli and I kept in touch over WhatsApp - all very straight forward. Elli also provides a detailed home guide. I would have no hesitation in returning here if the opportunity arose. I very much hope that this will be possible another time. Ludwig stole a piece of my heart.
