Janice was easy to communicate with and she got along well with our cats. They took to her quite quickly and she sent us pictures to keep us updated. She also left the place really tidy and was very professional throughout. We were lucky to have her!

I highly recommend Jahan as a house and pet sitter! Quiet, personable, clean/tidy, flexible (I had to make a change) and responsive to my queries, I would happily welcome Jahan back another time. I returned to a very contented cat which is the tell-tale indicator for me. Thank-you Jahan!

I really wanted to leave a five star review as I have with every other sitter we've had, as Miriam was very lovely and said she loved our dogs. But the lost house key was a big issue for us. I'll start with the positives: -I had a great first chat with Miriam and was happy to have her at the house; she was pleasant and very flexible to change her arrival by a day when I messed up the dates, so I was grateful for that -She said she regularly took our dogs to the off leash park (which they love) -She left the kitchen and most of the house tidy -The plants were all in good shape -The cat was happy and healthy Less positive: -She lost our house key and seemed a bit cavalier about it; she didn't offer to pay for a replacement key or pay for rekeying the locks (which I now need to do) -She didn't communicate much during the whole sit unless I reached out; I never heard anything about the cat, and I didn't find out until days after that our 8mo puppy had been left unsupervised and uncrated for hours and had eaten an entire tin of liver treats; luckily she didn't get into something more dangerous/toxic -Our dogs were unusually starving when we got home, with both eating multiple servings of food that night (very weird for both of them as they are not big eaters) -There was feces in one toilet that had very likely been there for days; I had to scrub the toilet multiple times -The dirty bed linens were tossed on our bathroom floor -There were many bags of dog poop piled in our front garden -There were two dried puppy pee stains on one dog bed and one on the front door mat (either missed or ignored?) -Almost nothing on the zeewoi post-sit cleaning checklist had been done (I certainly don't expect a professionally cleaned home, but I always hope it to be as clean as I left it) As we've had many great sits previously, this was quite a departure from our normal zeewoi experience. And I'm guessing Miriam was likely overwhelmed with three dogs, as she also had her own puppy with her. But the loss of the house key and unusual intense hunger in both dogs were especially unsettling for us.

Florence was a wonderful sitter! She was quick to respond, very tidy, and very capable. Would definitely have her back anytime!

Ann and Dave were wonderful. They connected with Bella the second they arrived. They took great care of her and the horses and went above and beyond, even putting music on for the boys (horses). This was their first time looking after horses, which I was fully aware of when I invited them to sit, but they certainly didn't falter at the first hurdle. We feel we have made good friends with them and have talked about more visits. Wonderful couple who I would 💯 recommend to anyone. Thank you once again, Ann and Dave, you lovely people 😘

We were thrilled to have Debbie return for a second sit. She truly looks after my pets like they are her own, and they love her to pieces. I have complete trust and confidence that my dog Lulu is safe and loved while I am away. This time, my son’s cat joined Debbie and my dog for a few days due to unexpected circumstances and Debbie managed that arrangement with ease and to everyone’s comfort. Debbie also left my home in spotless condition for my return,so nice to return to a happy dog and a clean and tidy home with everything the way I like it :) To top it off, Debbie is a lovely person who I am happy to now consider a friend. Please move to NS Debbie!

This was our first time using Housesitters....cannot say enough about Amanda and Trevor. They were fantastic from start to finish. Came to meet us and dogs. Came again to walk dogs and get to know them before we left for our trip. Kept in close contact and sent pics while we were away. Our dog got sprayed by a skunk while we were gone and they not only aired out the house but washed him several times so you could barely tell. Our house was clean and beds changed etc when we got home, which was above and beyond. They left us some lovely flowers too as a welcome home. Just the nicest people, amazing with the dogs, great with our house...we will definitely request them again next time we travel!

Kelvin was an amazing house/pet sitter for us! He took well care of my 2 dogs and 1 Cat (spoiling them to no end)! My house was well maintained and looked after. Would have Kelvin house/pet sit for me anytime!

In the end it was only Kristjana who came to sit and she has been fantastic. Living in rural Spain can present some issues and although we had only minor ones she coped superbly. It was a long sit which I hope she enjoyed and certainly our Ruby the dog has been well looked after. Communication was good and on our return the house was lovely and clean and tidy. Would not hesitate in recommending this sitter again.

Cindy and Jeff are the most amazing people and all you have to do is ask our guys…they are heads over tails in love with them and we couldn’t agree more!!

Amber was a wonderful sitter and we were happy to have her take care of our cats once again. She was always on top of all our care instructions and communicated really well with us. With Amber at our place, we could have a worry-free trip as we felt assured that she will certainly take care of everything back home. She treated the place like her own and left it very clean. We were also happy that she always kept us posted about what’s going on and sent us regular photos as well and would certainly welcome her back anytime.

Hallie did a wonderful job in taking care of Pippin and Archie! She was an excellent communicator before, during and as she departed. Incredibly capable, Hallie asked for clarification when needed and sent daily updates and photos. I would have her house and pet sit again anytime!!

5 Star House Sitters in every respect. I’ve have quite a few house/pet sitters over the years since one of my labradors got anxiety hot spots from being in a boarding kennel. Never ever have I been able to completely relax and enjoy my trip like I did this time with Mark and Erin left at the helm. To know that your animals are feeling loved (with healthy boundaries ) was the best feeling. And while we were away for the month the house threw them a couple of maintenance curve balls which they handled like the incredibly competent dynamic duo that they are. Beautiful people - communicated fantastically while handing every challenge with initiative and independence. We came home from a 14 hour flight to a freshly mown lawn and french toast prepared ready to pop in the oven. After a quick and delightful catchup them made themselves scarce, departing for their next adventure because they knew we were tired and wanted to be in our home alone after our long trip to sleep. Truly impressed! Cannot recommend this intelligent, adorable pair enough. Hope to have them back or even return the favourite if we ever make it to Canada.

Mishela arrived when she said she would, was cheerful and pleasant. She was very concerned for Puss and made sure she had her medication and ate regularly. The house was neat and clean, she cleaned the bathroom and she followed my instructions well.

Excellent sitters! I will havw them back again.

This is my second time I have had Franny sit for me and I couldn’t have been happier. I love the updates and pics and just knowing all is good. I came home to a very happy kitty. My house was clean and she even cleaned my windows which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend Franny and will gladly have her back. We have become good friends and keep in touch. Bob and Sharon always impress us with their approach to our dogs who love them, and our home which is immaculate when we get home. On this last trip, our flight home was cancelled with no notice. it was extremely tense to be overseas with the thought of missing the planned departure date of these awesome folks caring for our dogs, and home. Panic was diverted very quickly when they reassured us (with no notice) that they would stay the extra night, and adapt their departure plans to stay and ensure the dogs were well taken care of during this extended time away. Bob and Sharon are wonderful people, and valuable gems. Forever grateful!!

I was looking forward to writing this review. I want to thank Bambi for taking thoughtful care of my cat and my condo. I felt confident leaving my baby with such an exceptionally experienced pet sitter. Bambi is a natural with animals. Unicorn loved her. She’s also a respectful, trustworthy house sitter who cares. She’s easy to communicate with, and left my home the way she found it. She’s an overall very cool person, and we recommend her wholeheartedly. Thank you for everything, Bambi! We would have Rebecca back to look after our golden doodle Emma in a heartbeat. Mark and I felt super comfortable and secure with her staying at our place with Emma. Within 5 minutes of Rebecca coming over Emma was sitting in her lap on her back getting belly rubs. Rebecca was in contact often and sent amazing update photos. She even gave Emma a bath before we came back so she was all clean and fluffy for our return. The house looked great too. Highly recommend.

If Antonella takes care of your home and pets half as good as she did ours, you’ll be happy! This was our first time using TH as homeowners. After posting our listing, we didn’t have applicants but had noticed that Antonella had saved our listing among her favorites. We reached out to her to inquire if she’d be available and interested in sitting our dog and cat for the two weeks we were going to be absent. We had a video chat with Antonella and immediately knew that Charlie and Asterix would be in good hands! She was friendly and flexible in her availability for the chat. She asked if a friend of hers could join her, which we welcomed as it meant more loving for the kids (Charlie and Asterix)! I was not home when Antonella and Ramina arrived (my husband greeted them alone), they were punctual, asked pertinent questions about the house & kids and were friendly to Charlie & Asterix who took to them right away. They showed up bearing gifts for Charlie to chew and Asterix to chase - instant hits! During the sit, Antonella stayed in touch sending messages, pictures and videos which showed her obvious love and attention to Charlie. For a dog that normally feels abandoned by us when we leave, he sure didn’t look like he was missing us! We have to admit that our feelings were a little bit hurt! This was a winter sit... it was snowy and cold... Antonella and Ramina nonetheless walked Charlie, taking the time to put his little booties on. They even shoveled our long driveway, which they didn’t need to do, as a neighbour was to clear it in our absence. And the weather was miserable, with snow storm after snow storm; it would have been quite the workout! Like if all this wasn’t enough, five days before the end of the sit, I realized my mistake in the return date I had indicated on the listing. I contacted Antonella to inform her and worriedly ask her if she could stay an extra day. She did not hesitate and agreed immediately, to our huge relief! She patiently went through the TH required steps to have the sit extended in the system, on a Saturday that should have been a well-deserved day off. We unfortunately didn’t have the chance to see Antonella and Ramina upon our return. They waited and made sure that our flight had landed not to leave Charlie and Asterix stranded had we been delayed and headed out for their long drive while we were on our way home. Like if we hadn’t been already impressed by Antonella by then, we got home to happy kids, an impeccable home (floors were mopped with no doggy paw prints, which is no small feat with wet snow on a dark floor), washed linen and towels, a maintained hot tub and the outdoor steps, walkway and deck cleared of snow. Antonella and Ramina had washed Charlie, he was white and fluffy, which was great with the amount of hugs and kisses we bestowed upon him! Charlie and Asterix even got their first report card! Antonella hilariously rated them on cuteness, following rules, food, and brotherly love (some improvement was needed here!). You can not go wrong in selecting Antonella. We’d have her back in a heart beat if she were up to the challenge of taking care of Charlie and Asterix again! Antonella and Ramina, we cannot thank you enough for having given us peace of mind while we were away! Thank you and all the best in your travels and future sits!
