Jasper and Lisa are great and very friendly dogs. I very much appreciatet walking with them through the vineyards in the early morning sun. I even miss them. Tasca is an easy going cat that slept next to my feet every night. Nancy's place is somewhat remote and quiet, which I liked. Nancy was cool about letting some friends stay in their campervan in the garden. Nice sit and maybe meet them again.
Jason & Vicki are very nice with excellent communication. They picked me up from Split airport when I arrived at Croatia. Due to the low number of flights leaving Croatia Jason & Vicki, offered me their spare bedroom in their lovely home for a couple of nights until my flight left. Stardust and Tiger are very soft, smart, and friendly cats. The Adriatic Sea is under a 10 minute walk from their home. I enjoyed the town of Kaštel Novi and my stay with Stardust and Tiger. ❤️
The babies: I really loved sitting for Marlowe and Maisie! I miss them so much already😭 Marlowe is one cute and fluffy cuddle bug and the one I really bonded with. She accompanied me while cooking and sleeping etc.😹 They are all around very chill and mind their own kitten business for most of the day The home: Anne and Scott's kind hospitality and thoughtfulness even before my arrival made me feel welcome and at home. I was also able to reach them with any questions and concerns when needed. Their home is very spacious and has a lovely backyard. The neighborhood is very picturesque; it's close to film studios and the home itself is like staying at a film studio - and if you love movies like I do - then that's a treat in itself😸what a find! The area has Trader Joe's for groceries with Starbucks and Shake Shack in the area. Village Well Books is also a nice find! And it's within driving distance to movie theaters like Cinemark and AMC. Thanks for sharing your kitties with me, Anne!😻A memorable sit for sure🙏🏻
Adrienne's and Bill's place was our first ever sit with THS. It so happened that our house move also coincided with the sit and in the midst of it all our erstwhile faithful car gave up on us! So, a lot of what could possibly go pear-shaped all came together. We still wanted to keep our commitment, because we knew it was a long-planned event for Adrienne and Bill. Henry the gentleman golden retriever and Lily, who is a little anxious and thereby standoffish at first, were the best. Henry is a charmer, impeccably well-mannered and happy to hang around quietly while one gets on with work. Similarly, he absolutely loves his walks, cuddles, romps in the garden, daily brushes of his beautiful golden locks, and just generally having a playfully grand time. He is very communicative with his little dances, be they for his scheduled food, walks or most endearing requests for ice cubes as a treat! Henry loved hanging out wherever we were and even enjoys watching TV – he especially likes his cricket. We miss your loving, playful gentleness already, Henry. Lily is a gorgeous rescue cat. She was shy and a little standoffish at first. With just a little patience, giving her space and approaching her with a gentle voice was all that was needed to see her loving playfulness. In no time she was quietly coming up to where ever we were, gradually approaching and snuggling up close by on the sofa. One evening she came over and calmly put her paws over me to rest and began to purr softly. Perhaps, quite apt given her own beautiful fur, she simply loves playing with hairbands – no end of entertainment there! We are looking forward to taking care of Lily and Henry again. Adrienne and Bill are great hosts and made us feel welcome and comfortable in their home. We built a good rapport and communication was easy. In spite of their business leading up to the event, they took time to show us around and left clear information. The house is beautifully set in a quiet and leafy street and our bedroom was very comfortable for a great night's sleep. And most importantly, we felt right at home with Henry and Lily, as if we had known them for many years! We had a truly wonderful time.
Beautiful home in an absolutely stunning setting, great dogs that were easy and fun to look after and the communication from Ben and Ciara was prompt and detailed.
Great sit in a beautiful location! Sati and Mia were both so incredibly sweet and kind and we absolutely adore them! Elizabeth was a very gracious host and we could not have enjoyed this sit any more than we did! Thank you!
