This was a great sit! Koopa is such a sweet and chill kitty! As soon as we met, he was purring and friendly! He loves the back garden, but comes when called…a total sweetie! Communication with Claire and Stuart was easy, and their home is lovely! Thanks for an awesome sit all around.
It was such a pleasure to sit for Penny and John! Molly the Cockerpoo is such a cuddly ball of delight, and the perfect doggo to help motivate me whilst studying. Molly is great on the lead and with other dogs. We took her to the local pub and she loved it too! Molly also loves lots of cuddles in the evening. Muswell Hill is such a beautiful location and the house is super cute, which tops it off!
I really loved my sit for Niedra. She was very accommodating and considerate. She has a lovely little home in a peaceful neighborhood in Ojai. Wally, Tinkerbell & Twilight stole my heart. They were all very sweet and I enjoyed spending time with them. Wally loves his self led walks and the kitties hang out around the house and come for cuddles when they feel like it. They were easy to care for and lovely companions. I would sit here again anytime :).
Oscar was a great host, very kind, accomodating, and communicative. All the information for the sit was provided and everything was as presented. His home was comfortable and inviting, fresh and spotless in a prime location for exploring the city with a bus stop right on the corner. It’s a modern, updated space in a safe neighborhood, with all the amenities you would need or want. We tend to be homebodies and cook often, so we enjoyed that perk. Keep in mind this is a studio so the bedroom is not self contained with a door. If you’re a couple or sensitive to noise or have sleep issues, like my husband, you will need to come prepared. Even with earplugs and a noise machine, throughout the night he was able to hear neighbors coming and going in the hall, as well as footsteps and vibrations from the building next door. This is obviously no reflection on Oscar or the sit itself, just a reminder that this is an apartment complex in a busy city environment, so noise is to be expected. Ryder was quite honestly the most delightful dog we’ve had so far. She was so gentle and loving and did not make a peep. Seriously, she didn’t bark once lol, but communicated in sweet looks and affectionate nudges. She loved going for walks, which was a convenient 15 minute walk to Lafayette Park. During the day, she mostly napped while at home and was fully content so long as she had her scheduled walks, meals, and her nighttime treat ;) Also, she prefers her water refreshingly cold. This sit could not be easier, and Ryder could not be more lovable! Thank you, Oscar, for welcoming us into your home!
OMG this was just an amazing sit! We feel so lucky to have been given this opportunity to sit in somewhere a bit different to our 'normal' locations and to have enjoyed quality time with the gorgeous Nelli. Even before we got there Brenda put us at ease with her regular comms and photos of Nelli out on the local walks. Upon arrival Brenda was so relaxed and generous with her time, even meeting us at the airport and spending a day with us, showing us around, the local shops, vet, the areas for walking Nelli and making sure we had time to ask as many questions as we needed. Upon her departure she had left clearly documented notes on Nelli's routine and telephone numbers of local friends...many of whom who contacted us as well to make sure we were doing OK. What a warm welcome by absolutely everyone. The gorgeous Nelli is a 9 month old Vizla. Young and full of boundless energy but already quite well trained and responsive to most commands (chicken treats always helped!!). She loves you to throw the frisbee or sticks and her recall is so good for a young dog that we were more than comfortable walking her in the fields and beaches off her lead. A bundle of joy, wear her out on a biiigg walk and she will then curl up on the sofa for a snooze until her afternoon walk and then quietly sleep overnight...ready to greet you with lots of tail wags and licks the next morning. She was so good, as long as she had a big walk in the morning, we were able to leave her for a few hours and take the local bus to see the sites in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Brenda's lovely apartment is so comfortable and in a central neighbourhood with lots of shops, restaurants and public transport on the doorstep. The apartment is large with everything you need to enjoy relaxing when at home, with two incredible terraces for sitting out to read a book, eat a meal and just enjoy the warm weather and views. We had such a fabulous time at this easy going sit and feel so connected with this lovely family. THANK YOU Brenda for everything, Nelli we miss you already and really really hope we get the chance to see you again soon.
Thank you Chandra for letting me look after Frederick! This was a beautiful petsit. Frederick is so adorable and although he is an outside cat, he was inside a lot and loved company. Chandra was very friendly, great in communicating, flexible and even offered me to stay a night longer to not have a gap between housesits. It was the first time I couldn’t visit an owner before the sit, but Chandra made me feel at ease and very welcome. I would definitely recommend petsitting for Chandra!
