Housesitting for Saralynn and Gerry was an unbelievable experience, we enjoyed every minute of it! Saralynn and Gerry are amazing people, they were there anytime we needed help or advice and we loved our conversations. Cats are wonderful too, each with it’s own character, but both very affectionate and loving creatures, we loved spending time with them and miss them a lot! As for the house - it looks like a museum (in a good way!) and photos of it could be easily placed in the architectural digest! Prepare to spend a few hours walking around and appreciating all the beauty. House has great views of the valley, reminded us of Tuscany. The house is situated close to some wonderful places: local markets, old castles, pre-historic caves, beautiful gardens… The owners gave us lots of info on places to visit, it was very helpful. And we will be forever grateful for introduction to electric blankets - it was so great falling asleep in the warm bed that now we can’t get used to a “normal” bed, we are spoiled! :)) Overall it’s a dream housesit - you couldn’t ask for more!
It was a pleasure to sit for Marcy. She provided everything I needed to take care of the house and Buddy. Her instructions were very thorough and Buddy was a delight.
I can definitely recommend this house and pet sit, especially to those who want to enjoy a quiet village, interesting walks and the cutest dogs. Tony and Melanie went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, they showed me around the village and transported me to and from their house on my arrival and departure. Harley and Skye were very easy to look after and great company. Loved everything about this stay. Jan

Jonathan & his family are just about the most relaxed & down to earth people you’ll ever meet! We communicated well via email & text & never actually spoke over the phone. It was a treat to spend this time with Tacoma; such a sweet & beautiful soul. The house itself is very open & comfortable & the land it is placed on is sacred. I am grateful I could help & I would be happy to return if asked back in the future.
We had such an amazing stay in Florence thanks to Rachel! She is very sweet and nice, we keep in good communication before and during our stay. Even with some travel restrictions and chances - Rachel was very flexible with plans and allow us to stay an extra night after housesitting ends. We had a lot of fun with her sweeties Samson and Zachary - they are so lovely, even so, very shy in beginning :) Her place is very central in Florence. with easy walk to most of the tourist spots and places. So if you want to experience a true Italian culture - It's the best way to do it! Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will be missing a lot, Samson and Zachary!
