David was very kind to Dash and Bloss and took good care of them. He had to take Bloss to the vet to check on her skin which was unexpected but he didn’t mind. He provided some updates on their well-being and was attentive to them. I would have no hesitation in recommending David.

Noeline appeared in the form of an angel & developed such a deep bond with all the animals in such a short span of time, it was truly remarkable. Never have I had such peace of mind while being away on a long-term travel plan. She went over and above the list of tasks .. to the extent of even passing on the baton to our next house sitter with a warm welcome and ensuring the smoothest of transitions. I was kept informed throughout her stay, all the animals were loved dearly, fed exceptionally well, on time, and their well-being was always at the forefront. Thank you for all you’ve done, Noeline.. Jordan & Emily were great! Very responsive and flexible to make sure Tucker got the best care possible. The house was left nice and tidy as well!

Penelope

Penelope housesat for us for almost 4 months recently. It was a pleasure to come home to a very clean and orderly home. The garden was well looked after and plants were thriving after a wet and soggy winter. Penelope always communicated promptly, by sms and phone as necessary, and happily sent on our mail via text. Any problems were listed or discussed and we were comfortable to entrust her in our home. We would have no hesitation in recommending Penelope to look after your home.

Delia

We had the pleasure of having Delia and Michael looking after our furry kids and house . They saved us at the last minute as we had a couple booked in and they pulled out and then Delia and Michael send us a message even the timing was very tight . We manage to do a Skype session and to see if we would be a match and they were so lovely. You know that they have done this before they had all their questions ready for any situation. We ask if they could come over the night before which they agreed and so no stress on us the next day . We received videos and photos regularly and they also phoned us to get permission to let councils worker on our property. I highly recommended them to anyone and hopefully they will get back to look after our fur babies. They made it so easy for us and non stressful as well as we knew straight away that they were animals lovers. 6 stars out of 5 Bear and George the four legged furry kids Miss you

John & Nynke

John and Nynke were great sitters. They kept us updated with photos and videos of Max. Not only that, but they helped us deal with an unexpected boiler issue in the house while we were away. The house was in great shape when we got back and they’d done laundry and even made the beds (thank you!). We were very happy with everything and would 100% recommend.

Mark

We have been home a few days and am still overwhelmed about everything Mark and Julie did for us! We went through all that needed to be done the previous day of them staying and had dinner together. We found them to be the most interesting, genuine, kind people, so felt very comfortable leaving. While away we knew they were more than competent and would communicate and do what we would want if a situation arose, which they did! One of our dogs was sick, they took him to our vet, let us know and picked him up the next day. Our Vet informed us they were wonderful and we are very grateful. We have dogs, cats , 2 calves, 2 Ponies, baby lamb still on bottle, chooks and a cocky, all animal area's were clean and tidy, they got a new bale of hay and tied cover over it. It was the most organised it's ever been! We arrived home to an immaculate house, flowers, Pikelets jam and cream. So appreciated as we had the 1 am flight and then two and a half hours drive home! We have 4 cats who are timid but were all inside and as relaxed as I have ever seen and our very attention seeking dog was laying on lounge, head on Mark! I also have to mention Mark cleaned our glass in our fire place which we have tried but never came up sparkling like this! Needless to say we are so appreciative and happy with Mark and Julie, anyone who is lucky enough to get them will be able to relax and enjoy the experience of having this couple! This is tbe 2nd time Emily and Dan have dog-sat for us! I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for reliable, friendly and very competent in looking after our house and Harry our elderly dog. We would welcome them back anytime for another sit!

Hannah was excellent with my boy Jimmy, did everything that I asked for in taking care of my Jimmy & Jimmy absolutely love Hannah because when I arrived home Jimmy was actually looking for Hannah in the bedroom where they slept... Hannah kept me updated with my Jimmy on a daily basis & Hannah kept my home tidy & made sure everything was in order for myself to get home.. so I would truly recommend Hannah to look after any pet whilst people are travelling.. 😘 Jimmy my boy would like to say a huge thank you to Hannah for keeping me fed, water & cuddles.. 😻

Deb and Ian and their boys were great sitters. I came back to a very clean house, a happy cat and a gorgeous new plant. Enid was super happy and relaxed. Deb sent lots of photos so I knew how she was going and kept in contact while I was away. Also really well organised prior to arrival so I knew the plan and even put clean sheets back on the beds. Had a great stay at Jenny's place! The house was in great location and had great views. Jenny was very welcoming as a host and a great communicator.  Coco was so fun and Pixel & Jasper were very sweet & calm. The frogs were fun to watch too! Would definitely stay again if needed.

Becki and Adam took the time to show us their pet's routines.  They also completed a helpful welcome guide. Carter and DJ were easy to walk.  Chloe loved to cuddle. Charlotte and Phoebe shared their eggs with us. This was a pleasurable weekend sit that we would be happy to do again.

Spending time with Madeline’s cats, Fofinha and Orion, was truly special. Fofinha, with her gentle nature, and Orion, the spirited Siamese, initially took time to adjust, but we soon formed a strong bond. Madeline was wonderful to communicate with, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable sitting experience. Her love for her cats shines through in every aspect. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to care for Fofinha and Orion again.

David and I had a wonderful house-sit looking after Evie and Jones in the gorgeous village of Tideswell. Lynn and Howard are very warm and hospitable, and we could not have asked for a better experience for our first house-sit using the THS platform.

From the moment we got in initial contact to the day we finished our house-sit the communication was easy, very clear and well organised. Their home is gorgeous, very clean and has everything one might need. We both thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing and serene garden, which was a joy to spend time in. 

Evie and Jones were the absolute highlight of our stay, and we shall miss them immensely. Evie is a sweet and calm presence who was content to have us for company, whilst Jones was our work-life balance buddy who made sure that all opportunities to clamber into our laps for cuddles were maximised! 

As for Tideswell, it is a very scenic village with beautiful walks and views available everywhere you look. We took a lot of joy in exploring the village - we loved the atmosphere and the local assortment of pubs, the cafe and the cosy bookshop. We also happened to be there in the lead up to the Tideswell Wakes Week, and Lynn and Howard went out of their way to make sure that we were well equiped to make the most of this local tradition, for which we are most appreciative. 

We would highly recommend house-sitting for Lynn and Howard, and hope one day to return in the future! Thank you both again for such a wonderful experience.

Rocky Bear is the best doggy we took care of. He is very loving and we are going to miss him a lot when we go back to Argentina 🥺 we spent a weekend with him and we had a great time. He is playful, affectionate and makes you want to hug him all the time.
