It was a pleasure spending the long Easter weekend pet-sitting Timmie, Pommer and Stella. They were easy to look after. We enjoyed walking along local trails and Timmie and Stella loved watching Netflix with me.
Rachel & Patrick were wonderful to sit for, they made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay and were very responsive to any questions we had during the sit. Caring for Mini, Maverick & Max was a real treat! Each has their own little quirks and it makes for a great dynamic between the 3 of them. Both Mini & Maverick are super friendly and inquisitive, they loved to follow you around the house with Max never far behind. Max was very independent and came and went as he pleased, although he always came for a perch on our laps in the evening or first thing in the morning. Rachel and Patrick have set up the house so that there is little maintenance required and their location was quiet, calm, close to the nearest supermarket and an easy ~7 min walk to the nearest tube station or ~3 min walk to the overground. We would be happy to sit for Rachel & Patrick again in the future.
I only have very positive things to say about my sit with Nounou and Babette in Deidre's beautiful home. The dogs were a dream to look after - they were adorably affectionate and very calm in the house, playful outside, and obedient on walks. One of the highlights of my stay was just watching them play and run together in the big field near the house. And the other would have to be waking up with both dogs cuddled as close to me as possible on the bed, waiting for me to wake up. Deidre and her family were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I arrived the night before the sit started and after going for a walk so I could be introduced to the village and the dogs we shared a lovely home cooked meal. Throughout the stay Deidre was easy to communicate with when I had questions. I would return in a heartbeat! Amy
I recently had the pleasure of petsitting in Seattle and was lucky enough to meet Gail and her lovely cats. Even before the start of the sit the communication with her was seamless, upon my arrival she welcomed me as a guest, showed me not only the house but also around the neighbourhood, provided clear instructions about everything and was always responsive and making sure I feel comfortable. The kitties were great and very well behaved. Walter needed a bit more time to relax with new people, but once he warmed up, he revealed his charming personality (he makes a very cute meowing-purring sound when pettet). On the other hand, Bodhi was incredibly friendly from the start and was always around, seeking for attention. The house is very nice and offers everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was a wonderful opportunity and the perfect place to send the Christmas holidays and I definitely recommend it.
We really enjoyed our week in the Cheshire countryside with Otto and Rexy. The boys were so much fun to be out with and were full of energy and personality. We spent most of our time out in the local woods with both of them, off the lead. Rexy was happy chasing and retrieving the ball, while Otto was more content running around and sniffing out trails. Naomi’s home was a great place to spend time in, with all the comforts you need. Good WiFi/ Comfy bed/Well equipped kitchen.etc. The boys were happy to spend time with us when relaxing and would often be chilling out sat on our knees. Everything was made easy with good communication and instructions from Naomi.
What a wonderful stay we had with Ripley, she truly is a supper sweetie! Alina and Bryan are wonderful hosts, making sure we had all we needed for our time spent in their home. The Cuyahoga Valley area is one of our favorites, we enjoy visiting the local waterfalls, wineries and flea market. We highly recommend a stay with Ripley!
