Jacob did an excellent job taking care of Kona and Mary, our dog and cat, as well as our house. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving our pets with strangers but once we spoke with and met Jacob, we left feeling secure. Jacob came early to meet us, our pets and to see the house. He seemed very interested in learning everything and seemed to take the task seriously. Normally, our pets are not on meds, but our dog had had issues with diarrhea earlier in the week so Jacob had to do a couple of extra tasks, which he didn't bat an eye at. While away, we didn't worry about our pets. We did reach out once and Jacob replied right away letting us know that things were going very well. We felt he was responsible and had our interests in mind. Upon our return, the house looked just as we had left it and the pets seemed absolutely fine. We were very pleased and hope to use Jacob again.
My friend and I had a great time looking after Millie and Pan for a last minute sit! Kris and Lauren left heaps of detailed information about the cats, the apartment, and recommendations for the surrounding area in Munich. All around, it was a great experience. The cats are adorable and easygoing. Kris and Lauren are super friendly and communicative. We really enjoyed staying in their cozy apartment and hanging with Millie and Pan. We’d love to visit again!
Abhivineet is a superb host who went out his way to make me feel welcome in his city and his home. Great accommodations! You can see the Space Needle while sitting on an outdoor couch on his rooftop! Superb communication and transparent about Sky's particular needs when on the call. Sky is really easy to care for - she loves to go on quick walks in her neighborhood! Sky doesn't bark much at all, but her primary form of communication is crying, which I could see being draining for some people but Abhivineet is very transparent about Sky's needs.
I had the most loveliest stay and looking after Leda. She is a such sweetheart, gentle and same time exciting dog. I found it so cute she was always looking for a warm spot to sleep on or under. Leda had a bad paw, so I could not walked her, but she was great in the house and in the garden. Oli and Jem and their children were amazing hosts, they gave me detailed information about their home, Leda and Hastings and much more (bread recipes and Oli even gave me a a bit of starter to start my own baking). The communication was clear and replies instant. Their home is beautiful, clean, spacious, warm, fantastic location I would definitely recommend this sit and go back again.
We have petsat for Isabel and Stuart twice, in Feb and Aug 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed both our stays. They are a friendly, interesting couple, easy to get on with and they made us feel very welcome, provided us with a delicious meal on arrival and explained everything about the house clearly. The cats Arya and Macbeth are easy to look after and have their regular mad half hours of play with their range of toys! The house is large and very comfortable, always very clean, the kitchen is great for cooking, with everything you need. There is a big conservatory which is lovely to sit in year round or for having breakfast in. The Coop supermarket is just 5 mins walk away for food shopping and the town, beach and beautiful harbour are 15-20 mins walk. The area is great for walking and exploring. We would love to petsit again in the future.
We had the most amazing stay at Viv & Will's place. We felt so lucky to spend some time in their small piece of paradise with their great array of endearing animals...And we felt even luckier to really get to know our hosts over many delicious dinners and interesting conversations. A stay at their farm is a magical New Zealand experience. Thank you!
A great sit! The 14 days with the three furry friends Moppel, Freddy and Rosie were wonderful! Each of the three animals has its own personality, and they act well together as a cat flat share. Rosie was a little shy at first, but then daily cuddles were really demanded. Rosie loved to keep me company in bed and would snuggle up to me and purr. I found it so reassuring that I just took my laptop to bed and worked from there. And this cute little cat lady is snoring. Loudly. I always had to laugh so hard that such a small cat could make such a noise. "King" Moppel is the gray eminence. He watches from afar, wants to be admired, and of course the door to the garden is opened for him when he sits in front of it. Moppel doesn't need to talk. Moppel usually just looks reproachfully in the direction of his servants, and depending on where his Majesty is sitting, it is already clear how he can be helped. King Moppel allows daily audiences in the same room, allows staff to serve him his food, and only on rare occasions will he walk up to his servants and allow them to pet him. Freddy is definitely the liveliest of the bunch. He is an early riser, and there is nothing he loves more than being outside in the garden. He won't rest until he gets his collar on and is allowed to go outside. And, despite the bell and light on his collar, he will show you his love in the form of gifts from the fauna (which was perfectly fine with me). All three animals have a daily routine. Each animal has its own feeding place. The automatic feeders make feeding the animals really easy. Vanessa and Max made an excellent handover of the house. Everything was explained and shown in detail. A very good Welcome Guide (online and printed) completed this picture. The house is super clean. I was very impressed. Although there are three cats, two of them longhair cats, it is really provided for cleanliness and order. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. I especially like the open kitchen. I was fascinated by the location of the house. It's so wonderfully quiet. The beautiful, large garden and the location on the outskirts of Berlin were great. And in 30 minutes by public transport you can be in the hustle and bustle of the Gropius Passagen with all the shops and a large UCI cinema. If you are looking for a sit with friendly and reliable hosts, with three great cats in a green area on the outskirts of Berlin, you have definitely come to the right place. I will gladly come again.
