What an amazing experience! This was my first house sit and I don't think you can get a better sit! :) Pet Owner: Ana is so kind, welcoming, communicative, and patient. I can't say enough about how welcome she made me feel, including picking me up and dropping me off at the airport, taking time out of her day to show me around the neighboring town. We had a lovely breakfast the morning before Ana and her husband were heading out. It was such a pleasure! Pets: I miss Tiger and Floki so much! They are just the sweetest kitties. Tiger is very affectionate and will love you from the moment you walk in the door. He's a little cuddle bug! Floki is a gentle soul, but shy at first, you have to be patient with him and make sure he feels safe with you around. Once he does trust you, he's an absolute sweetheart, turning over on him back for belly rubs. I never feared they would intentionally try to escape from the balcony, it's just good to keep an eye since they might not realize they could fall from the railing, but this is normal for kittens as they're curious :). I had such a wonderful time with these angels. <3 Home & Location: Ana has created a lovely home filled with books, art, and love. You can feel the care put into the home. It's quiet, clean, spacious, and has a large balcony. One day it was 27 C (80 F), but the flat was cool, very well insulated! It's just a 5 min walk to the train station which connects you to Geneva, Nyon, Lausanne, Montreux, and more. There are multiple grocery stores in the town within a 10 - 15 walk which have delicious breads, cheeses, and of course, chocolates!
Rufio was an absolute delight. He was a slow burn to warm up to us but with plenty of brushes and belly rubs he definitely found his groove. He doesn't like loud stomping around or when you're wearing big bags or coats and would retreat to his hiding couch. The flat is very conveniently located and spacious. We really enjoyed our sit and Sarah was very warm and friendly and regularly checked in. 😊
Cristina and Ryan were very helpful and welcoming to us, showing us where they walked Cleo and Cali through the neighborhood and how to take care of them. They have a very nice house on a cul-de-sac, so mostly quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay and getting to know the dogs and taking them for walks.
When you think about having the opportunity to stay in New York for a few days, you don't expect being lucky enough to live in a place like Casey's. A perfect location in Downtown Brooklyn, plenty of amenities to enjoy the stay - as if New York would not be already a fun city! From the very beginning, we were helped by Casey and Marquis, who were the best hosts for our stay. The guide provided was so clear we barely had any questions for them. What can we say about the two guys we got to pet during our stay? Winston and Jack are the best educated dogs we had the chance to take care of in our petsitting adventures! We are happy for this experience and just hope we can visit Casey, Marquis, Winston and Jack anytime soon :)
We had the most wonderful time at Fiona and Nick's home. This sit is a real treat as it's very rural and quiet, yet doesn't require a car like similar sits as it's just 15 minutes in a taxi from the train station. The pure blissful peace and quiet was enough to relax Craig and I and enabled us to forget about our busy lives in London! The walks into the forest are lovely and just minutes away, and there's a great village pub within a walkable distance too. Their pets are also wonderful. The dogs have very different characters, docile Delilah who loved carrying sticks and the more bouncy Jess who is simply beautiful! She loves rolling in mud so hesitantly let us wash her with the hose after, it helped that she is super motivated by a treat or two! Though we interacted with them much less, the cats were also lovely and happy to have their ears scratched. The chickens were easy to take care of and fun to watch too. Fiona and Nick are warm and pleasant people and very easy going and approachable. We highly recommend this sit and hope to return in the future.
Madeline's historic home is beautiful with lots of lighting and plants to make you feel at home. Eleanore is a super sweet kitty who loves pets and playtime. I would love to sit for her again.

I am a Socialiser for Medical Detection Dogs and first met Diana over 5 years ago on a training session with the dogs we had at the time. From that very first meeting it was obvious that Diana should work with dogs as she had a natural rapport and understanding of all the dogs she socialised, and every dog loved her very much, including my own. Diana is very professional and trustworthy with a friendly and caring personality. She has worked extremely hard to create Yappy Tails and is very passionate about the wellbeing of every dog in her care. She will go out of her way to make sure that the needs of the dog, and expectations of the owner, are always met. All dogs are very well looked after and happy, which gives peace of mind to their owners. Even though Diana has moved to Hallaton, I wouldn't choose anyone else to look after my dog, especially now that she has added home boarding to her services. Diana looked after our 2 cats and 11 chickens (including our cockerel Trevor!) for a week while we were away recently. The Porters Paw Patrol family are so friendly and considerate and clearly love looking after your furry friend. My energetic girl Tess has been taking Dan for long walks and the occasional pond dip twice a week in daycare for almost a year. She’s even had a sleepover and didn’t want to leave. Dan is great with Tess and she clearly loves him dearly as she can’t wait to leave the car. Dan is very caring and takes time to get to know your dog and their every need. I would be more than happy to recommend Porters Paw Patrol to look after your dog, as long as Dan always has time to fuss Tess 😉
Dan is excellent taking care of our dog. You can tell the entire family clearly love dogs and it is very reassuring to know our dog is in safe hands. He goes for the day and overnight stays. The service is always very friendly and professional and I would recommend him to friends and family without concern.
Our cockapoo Biggie always loves his stays with Dan. Dan is incredibly patient with him as he is still a puppy, and takes a lot of care to integrate him well into the pack. He’s very sensitive to Biggie’s needs and was very flexible with his bedtime routine. Biggie loves his walks with Dan and we were so grateful that Dan practiced his recall with him! We will absolutely book Biggie in with Paw Patrol again in the near future. Dan is our go-to dog sitter and we’re sure Biggie can’t wait for his next stay! :)
We’ve used Dans day care for our cockapoo a few times and we have been so impressed with the care and attention he gives the dogs. He’s always happy to go in and we feel really comfortable leaving him. For our wedding, Dan kindly bought our spoilt pooch to our reception and it was the perfect addition to our day. Our lovely Ruby has just had a holiday with Dan. We were nervous leaving her, as it was the first holiday away without her, since we got her as a rescue. She settled well, and loved the other dogs. Dan sent some photos while we were away, which was lovely and very reassuring .

I have been leaving Caspa with Porters Paw Parrol once a week for the past 6 months. He is always enthusiastic to go and seems to love his day there. He loves mixing with other dogs and I feel this is good for him. Dan and his wife are very caring towards Caspa and obviously enjoy looking after the dogs. They have been flexible when we needed him looking after for an extra day and they are well organised and welcoming.
What a find! Between country moves for work brought us back temporarily to the UK needing both daytime care and a week of boarding while we house hunted in Europe. Our mini Daschund took to the Porter household instantly and their other 'guests'. Every morning he was at the door eagerly waiting to get in, and every evening he slept like a log when he got back - what better recommendation! Massive thanks to Dan and the Porter household. My two girls Absolutely love going to see their uncle Dan and family , there so kind and caring and I can leave them in the knowledge that they are safe and well cared for . Nicola and her team have been my ‘go to’ trusted pet sitter for years! Here’s the thing; I’m a professional animal communicator. So I really do know what my animals think of her and they absolutely adore her! She’s had full care of our 3 dogs, 3 horses, 2 cats and a tortoise. Some oldies, some babies and others in between. Nicola and family looked after our beautiful rabbits. One was long hair and needed quite alot of care compared to your standard rabbit. Nicola looked after my Dad's dog brilliantly, at short notice, when he had to go into hospital. Two walks a day and gave me updates on how things were. She was really helpful throughout.

Nicola did an amazing job of looking after our extremely fussy cat whilst we were away. We have used barking mad, quite a lot now for Louie our fur baby. He has been with Lillian and Mike since we began with barking mad Louie loves going to them. He has been there for 10 days at the beginning of September, we have seen a real big change, he is a lot calmer and well behaved I’m sure it’s their influence. Louise was friendly and very experienced in matching our young dog to an appropriate host family so we didn’t have to send her to the kennels. From the moment our dog, Ben, met Louise, we knew that he just loved her and would follow her anywhere! How she managed to complete her paperwork and carefully explain the Barking Mad philosophy and process with an affectionate Labrador hanging on her every word, we don’t know! Louise explained who she was thinking of matching Ben with for his first weekend BM experience and they sounded delightful. The collection and drop off service was such a bonus, as we didn’t need to rush to get Ben somewhere before embarking on our journey. We received reassuring pupdates and photos from Louise throughout the weekend and Louise returned him, safe and sound, after having had a great time with his lovely hosts. The postcard, completed by the hosts (obviously Ben couldn’t write himself, due to not having opposable thumbs!) was a cute touch!
Our 5 year old dog has always stayed with friends and family so we were a little nervous about leaving him with a 'stranger' but Louise was so good at explaining how everything worked, and very friendly towards us and our dog that we were less anxious as we sent him on his first trip away! The host was fantastic, sending regular photos of our dog enjoying his time with her. We love recieving our postcard at the end of his holiday to find out what he's been up to! Our dog has been on another visit recently and the excitement he showed when Louise arrived was lovely to see! Highly recommend this 'personalised' dog sitting service. Booking in with Eclipse pet care is the best thing we did for our dog. Beth is so loving and caring towards our little dog! I could not recommend Beth enough. Beth has been looking after our French bulldog Lola for a few years. Lola is nervous aggressive and doesn’t like strangers but from the first meeting Beth did everything she could to win Lola round. She now absolutely loves Beth looking after her. We have left Beth on a few occasions now to look after her and I wouldn’t want anyone else. She regularly updates us with pictures and messages and keeps our house spotless whilst we are away. I would highly recommend Beth for any pet stays or walks, she is also the loveliest girl and will go out of her way to make your pet comfortable.
Beth has been caring for my pets whenever I am away from home for a couple of years now, and has always been very reliable, and willing to work to sometimes quite complex arrangements. She sends me reassuring update photos regularly so that I can see that all is well. My usually very nervous cat seems to find her presence safe and reassuring, which is a big bonus! Beth looked after my cat when I went away and the whole experience was easy and comfortable from start to finish! It takes a lot to trust someone with your pet, but I found Beth to be incredibly personable, trustworthy and she put me at ease so that I could enjoy my holiday without any stress. She even sent me picture updates and her communication was great the whole way though. Beth stayed at our house and looked after our 2 family dogs. She is very friendly and caring and both dogs were settled with her. Beth sent regular updates and photos throughout the day. She is very reliable and trustworthy and I would definitely recommend her.
Beth is amazing with our 11 month old mini schnauzer border terrier cross, Hektor. From the moment she met him she was able to bond with him immediately. Hektor loves the small group of dogs that he walks with and meeting them has improved his social skills no end. Beth is always on hand to answer any questions and is a real peace of mind when we have to leave the dog for work.
Beth regularly looks after our Cavapoo Bear and also takes him for weekly walks. I can only say that it is an understatement to say we couldn’t do without her. Beth has gone over and above her duties and has always done everything she can whenever she can to help us when asked to do something ‘out of the box’. Moreover Bear absolutely loves her and is a testament to how she loves him back. Beth is honest, loyal, hard working and truly passionate about her commitment to her dogs and her duties.

Our cockapoo Freddie was extremely well looked after by Beth whilst we took a much needed weeks holiday abroad. We could see from the many videos and photos Beth regularly sent to us that Freddie was having a fantastic time with her. We found Beth to be very professional but also very caring and clearly passionate about her work, she was great with Freddie and we think he’s actually sad his ‘holiday’ from us is over! I wouldn't leave my dog with anyone else, I know he's safe, he's looked after and when I collect him he's groomed and smells lovely. He gets excited when we're on our way there and it gives me great peace of mind that he's well looked after.
I’d never put my two staffies in kennels, until I got recommended this place !! My dogs have been coming here for afew years now and they apsolutely love it as do we because we know there getting well looked after. I’d highly recommend it and the owners are brilliant xx would like to update this post .. my dog was poorly last year 2021 whilst he was in the kennel, and Linda the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. She took my dog to the vets , and she kept me updated all the time whilst I was away . I said I was going to come home on the first day he took bad , but she reassured me he was doing ok . She’s brilliant thanku . Jane is also a great person, my dog has decided that she likes being hand fed only there , and now Jane has to sit with her until she’s finished her food haha . Absolutely amazing place xx

This is a great boarding kennels. The owners are always helpful and our dog always comes home happy. Really well priced too. We have used several times without issue and this time looked after our pug during the heatwave and kept him comfortable. Won't be going anywhere else for our little fury friends holidays!

Very friendly, helpful staff running clean, well-equipped kennels, with multiple options to accommodate all dog types and personalities. Drop off & pick-up any time between 8am & 6pm. Was expecting my dog to dislike being left, but he actually has a great time socializing with his new mates!
My family have used Paws kennels over a number of years and various dogs. The staff are very helpful and relaxed with the dogs in their care. All of the dogs were returned to us us in good health and basically exhausted from running around all day. Would have no reservations about recommending Paws to any dog owner.
My Bulldog has been going to Doggy daycare here for 6 years now and also boarded several times. Its brilliant value, the staff are wonderful and I don't know how I would have managed without them at times. They give piece of mind and love all the animals they look after.

This was the first time that I have left my 3 Caique parrots with anyone and my first holiday after almost 5 years! I was nervous about leaving my 3 with anyone, as they are my family. When I initially enquired, Shaun suggested I call him and discuss and he instantly reassured me that I can go ahead and book my holiday and that they will be fine. When I took them there, I instantly felt at ease, seeing all the other animals of his own and being boarded. The place was lovely and calm and so was Shaun. A lovely knowledgeable man, who is very friendly and chatty. I left mine there for 11 days and whilst I was away, Shaun sent me a couple of videos of them to reassure me they were fine. When I collected them yesterday, they were so happy and very much looked after. I will definitely be getting my life back again and start going on holidays twice a year, knowing that I can leave them there and they will be happy and looked after. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone, very professional and it isn't just a business, he actually cares about the animals. Many thanks again Shaun and see you soon x
In the past, I had to rely on family or friends to look after my birds when going on holiday, which meant a restricted timeframe and leaving my birds with others who didn't have as much experience or knowledge about birds. I was always worried about how they were doing. All of that changed when I reached out to Shaun and left my birds with him! Not only is he exceptionally knowledgeable about all breeds of birds, but he is also incredibly passionate about what he does, and it shows. He has created a phenomenal environment for them, considering everything from climate to different types of cages, food, perches, and more! My birds adjusted within minutes, trusted him straight away (first time that's happened when they meet a strangers) and I knew they were in extremely safe hands. Shaun kept me updated and sent photos and videos, which I loved receiving. It was worth every single penny! I have gone from a first-time customer to a regular one. I honestly can't express how amazing Shaun and his Bird Hotel are! I know the birds can't wait to come back.
Just picked Mango up. She was so happy and I’m not sure she wanted to leave. We live an hour away from Shaun and it well worth the drive to bring Mango to Perches. Not only does she get all the love and care she gets at home but Shaun’s bird knowledge and experience is second to none. It’s great to go away and know you animal is being loved and cared for by someone who is as passionate about them as you are. It’s also a family experience with Shaun and his family all looking after Mango as you can see by my picture. Thank you to everyone at Perches
Can't praise Shaun enough for the service he provides. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to parrots, and clearly cares a lot about all the birds he looks after. He will treat your bird like one of his own giving them regular time outside their cage. He provides regular updates on how they are getting on which is great peace of mind while you are away. Highly recommended I will definitely use perches again if I am on holiday.
I've left my pineapple conure here twice and I know he is safe, well cared for and played with. Shaun is fabulous with him and gets to know him really well. He gets plenty of out of cage time and interaction despite sometimes being a little nippy. Shaun is also very knowledgeable and friendly so I pick up some great tips, too. Despite it being an hour's drive away, I wouldn't want to leave him anywhere else; it's good to have that peace of mind whilst I'm away. Highly recommend Perches.
Our cockatiel has returned relaxed and happy after a two week stay. It feels like she was well looked after, and it seems that Perches really look after the birds in their care. We would happily use the service again.
So my Macaw and Quaker stayed for a total of 39 days straight. They have been exceptionally well cared for, tried some new foods. Both birds are recent additions to the family. The Macaw is exactly the same carefree lovable little princess she was before we left and the Quaker is a little calmer. It’s hard to find someone with the care and capabilities to look after complex animals with their own personality and quirks. I would recommend Perches to any one with parrots. They came back in the car for 2 and a half hours and was so relaxed and tranquil. Thank you very much. 5*

We've only used Perches once and leaving your pet for the first time with stranger can be quite stressful. However its not the case with Shaun, he is extremely friendly and trustworthy not only does he offer a lot of knowledge on parrots and advice but we know our Eclectus Parrot Rhubarb is going to be looked after and we will be using Perches again.

Sarah offers a reliable service and is extremely flexible to every need. Due to work commitments I would change my days regularly and this was never a problem for Sarah. Plus our dog went through a difficult humping stage and Sarah was nothing but understandable and offered her help at all times. Our dog is now back to his normal self and this through the help of Sarah and her other colleague Leia. She regularly updates me through pictures and a quick message to keep any worries at bay. I met Sarah in the village and when she first did a home visit knew she was right for Trigger, very experienced with dogs and highly recommended.
Our little man "Eric" gets excited if we even mention Sarah's name! Sarah is reliable, trustworthy, professional and fun, we would recommend her pet care services to anyone.
Fabulous service from Sarah, always looks after my girls so well. Takes them on great walks, they go to different places on a regular basis and they get to interact with other dogs so great for socialisation. Sarah is always there when I need her, even when I need to add a date at the last minute or make a change. I would highly recommend Sarah for one off or regular walks.
Sarah offers a reliable, professional and trustworthy service. She has never let me down and has become more than just my dog walker. Sarah is one of the few people I trust completely with my boy, and Reggie absolutely adores her. In fact he can’t get in that van quick enough! Reggie has benefitted from joining the group walks, his socialisation and behaviour has improved, all thanks to Sarah.
We have used Sarah's Pet care service for the past year to look after and feed our cat when we have been away. She offers a very reliable and professional service which we happily recommend. She provides regular updates while we are away.
