2nd attempt at leaving this review
We were made really welcome by GG & Chris, and enjoyed our stay in their lovely thatched cottage, looking after Max and Bindi.
The village is great, has a pub just 5 min walk away that does excellent food, also a working windmill that you can have a tour around on a Sunday. There are some lovely walks along the canal and surrounding fields, also Marlborough and Hungerford are a short drive away for shopping.
Many hours were spent playing “fetch” with Max in their secluded back garden.
We highly recommend this sit and would love to visit again in the future.

Rachael
Rachael was kind, generous, and an excellent communicator. We had a lot of fun sitting the two border terriers, Django and Oscar in the small (but gorgeous) Long Marston. They were so cute and playful but also enjoy resting! There were plenty of beautiful fields to walk the dogs in and there is a pub across the street which we didn't end up visiting but it looked great. Rachael's converted chapel home is a work of art. Highly recommended!

Audrey
An absolutely fantastic housesit, for very welcoming, warm homeowners, Audrey and Gordon.
There home is a beautiful ,original Queenslander sitting high on the hills of the lovely suburb of Norman Park, an inner city ,lush treed area of Brisbane with breathtaking views of the city skyline and surrounding suburbs.
As Audrey and Gordon had no pets for us to care for, our main commitment was to there gardens, ensuring they were getting a good soak during the hot Qld summer weather.
There are beautiful walks along the river ,or just meandering through tree lined streets to find great coffee spots and peruse the beautiful old homes. We decided lounging with a good book on the expansive deck, watching the sunsets and the city lights come alive, was our idea of heaven!
We were spoilt with a fridge full of food and treats that Audrey had left for us, of which I must give special mention to the yummy homemade rum balls:):)
This is a really GREAT housesit, so if you have the good fortune to be offered it, don’t hesitate....
I,m doubling the 5 thumbs below because in my books, this is a 10+ thumbs up housesit!!
We had a fabulous time so thank you Audrey and Gordon for your kindness and for entrusting us with your home this past week.X

Tracee
Bruno is sweet and cuddly. She meows a lot. The cat parent Todd and Tracee are great hosts. They have a welcome guide in a binder. It includes all the information about the cat and their apartment. The apartment is super organized and lovely decorated. I really enjoyed my short stay there.

It was lovely staying at Theresa and Sophie's house, looking after Panda, Taz, Minnie, Flynn, Arthur, Tiny, the chickens and turtles was a dream, they are all super loving, the dogs we went for walks every day, the chickens and turtles were no problem at all. They are all super lovely. Theresa and Sophie are super friendly and super loving, they made us feel like part of the family, it would definitely be a place I would highly recommend and we would love to come back in the future.
