Lindsay and Shane’s home was lovely with a big kitchen which was lovely to cook in. We were made to feel very welcome. Watson is a character, it was nice getting to know him for all his quirks. He was excellent on lead but did push the boundaries a little, and does need plenty of exercise as he will tell you if he’s a bit restless. There’s a school up the road where he can go off lead, his recall wasn’t great for us but got better as the house sit went on (I think he was just getting to trust us) and I found if we took his squeaky toy, he would usually come over pretty quick if he heard that. He is great with other dogs and a big sweet heart. Whiskey is gorgeous, she comes and goes throughout the day but will come for a cuddle in the evening, super low maintenance and very sweet. Would happily house sit again for Shane and Lindsay!
Jenny was very clear and communicative. We really enjoyed her home. She has a beautiful backyard, lovely pool. Both dogs are absolutely sweet and amazing both very different but absolutely sweet and amazing. You need to be very strong to walk the big dog Ziggy. I repeat you must be very strong to walk the big dog Ziggy Jenny left us a box of donuts which were very good and a bottle of wine - very hospitable. Just a total five star experience and we would definitely be return visitors in the future. Wow, great great experience. The home is a 10 minute drive to Trader Joe’s in Aldi’s and a 20 minute drive to the beach.
I had an amazing time housesitting for Genevieve. Jayce is a really adorable and gentle doggo. He’s very well behaved and only minds his own business during the walks. He loves playing fetch and he’s very food motivated! The place is next to GG Park and Ocean beach which was incredible as Jayce & I would go on walks and enjoy nature together. I’d happily housesit again for Genevieve and Jayce.
Franklin was great to care for; he’s responsive, playful, and affectionate. Wherever you are, he’ll want to be there too! He’s a real pack dog. I think the one thing to know is that he KNOWS dinner is at 6:30 and he won’t want to do anything else until he’s fed 😂 JennaLynn and Corey’s house is awesome. Nice yard with a hammock and a hot tub, in a nice neighborhood— quiet, but still just a 10min walk to downtown. They were communicative and helpful before and during the trip, and staying here for a while was a great retreat from the Phoenix heat!
We had a great stay in Kingston looking after Bryn and Ruby. Jennifer was extremely helpful showing us the house and routine for the dogs. Her welcome guide was also greatly appreciated. Bryn and Ruby were very sweet, Bryn gets very excited for breakfast/dinner and Ruby was so sweet and gentle. Kingston is a great area and the walking paths along the river and through Richmond or Bushy parks were fantastic. Thanks for having us!
