Just spent a very pleasant 6 days at William and Jane’s lovely home in a rural location of Pickering. The home is close to Pickering town centre and is within a short drive of the seaside. Filey, Scarborough , Whitby and Bridlington. We received a lovely welcome and walked through the requirements of the sit . Information was readily available to assist us in managing the home and their two adorable dogs Bramble and Daisy. The dogs are both in great routines and a pleasure to care for . Thank you for letting us stay in your home Bill and Jane and thank you Bramble and Daisy for being the perfect furry companions .Missing you both already xx
What an amazing sit this was. Reggie and Wilfred are fun, loving and trusting dogs, and we fast became like a little family. Leaving was hard, and we miss them dearly. Michelle, David and the girls were wonderful. So kind and welcoming, and they took such good care of us. We miss you all. Anytime you want to go to Norway you have people who love you here! Thank you guys!
Dexter really stole my heart! What a caring intuitive dog with such a gentle nature..I did find it hard to leave him! Communication with Dan & Ella was great, the house was lovely and comfortable and what a fantastic park right on their doorstop. A pure joy to mind Dexter.
I will always make myself available for Edie and Billie - they are an adorable little dream team. I loved walking them around the neighborhood every time. Truly nothing beats watching Edie run around Fort greene, she's usually so incredibly nervous just being outside so it's fun to watch her let loose at the park. Careful she doesn't accidentally bulldoze Billie in the process - I still think about those huge gangly limbs.
Francine was wonderful, super welcoming and friendly. She's located in the heart of the Presidio, a national park site, with birds, trees, darkness and quiet at night. It was a wonderful stay!
Lindsay and John’s home is a beautifully extended and very comfortable cottage with a lovely garden. They are very warm and friendly people who gave us a lovely welcome and introduced us to their sweet and gorgeous cats Titch and Sparky. Titch, although a little shy at first, grew in confidence with us, eventually sitting by our side and enjoying gentle brushes and strokes. Sparky was friendly immediately although perfectly happy to do his own thing which is, primarily, sleeping and catching the sunbeams in his favourite room. He pops into the kitchen and living areas later in the day for a bit of company which was especially nice for us 😁 We really enjoyed our stay and all it offered as it is located in a peaceful as well as wonderful part of the world with easy access to many beautiful Cotswold villages and towns. Cooper has stayed at Little Paws for a number of times and is always very happy to go. Angie and Pete are a really lovely couple and ensure Cooper is spoilt during his holiday. They treat him as their own. We receive many photo’s during his stay which is really appreciated. We would have no hesitation in recommending Little Paws whether for a day or a week.
It was Bertie’s first time with Angie and Pete! After looking around before hand and meeting you both. We was so happy and comfortable to leave Bertie in your capable hands! He had the best week with you all.. You could see in the photos that you’d sent, just how well looked after and happy he was!! I don’t think he wanted to leave you 🥰 we have found someone we trust with our dog and someone we know really genuinely cares about him too! Thank you so much for putting us at ease whilst we was away and looking after our Bertie so amazingly xxxx
Teddy absolutely loves going to Angie’s. He has been going as a daycare and a boarder for quite a few years now and is totally spoilt by Angie, Peter and Ollie. He has the run of their beautiful house and totally makes himself at home. I never have any worries when I leave him to go on holiday and Angie sends me regular photos and updates. It’s like he’s having a little holiday of his own. He loves playing with Angie’s dogs so he gets plenty of socialising. I have no hesitation in recommending Little Paws Retreat.
Our Bonnie LOVES going to Angela’s and is always made so welcome. It’s definitely a home from home experience for her, she gets constant cuddles and attention. She’s always so content when we pick her up & we never have any worries whilst we’re away. So pleased we found you! Bonnie can’t wait to stay again next year. :-)
Our mini Daschund has had trouble settling in with other dog sitters, but not here. She was right at home from the off. Little Paws gave such great care and regular updates on how she was getting on. Will definitely use again
Angela has looked after poppy many times in the past. Her home is real doggy paradise. Poppy has always been well cared for and is treated like one of their own.
So spoiled were our two dogs that they actually sulked when we finally got them home again! They were beautifully looked after and loved and I would not hesitate to use Little Paws again.

I can not recommend this facility highly enough my dog louie has been quite a few times, he is always so happy when he arrives there and is so well looked after and spoilt I have no qualms leaving him there at all .
We have known Pierre now for some two months, during that time, we have taken a 2 1/2 year old and 14 week old puppy cocker spaniel to him for training and it was quite remarkable that within a few lessons we could see an improvement in the basic disciplines. Pierrs training is very logical , he explains all the reasons for the actions and commands, he clearly has a wealth of knowledge with all breeds of dogs. It is clear that the dogs actually enjoy the training sessions, and so do we. David and Jane
We use Pierre and Lisa for training as well as day care. I can't recommend them highly enough!! The training with Pierre has reaped huge benefits with even a 5 month old pup. It's quite remarkable what's possible with Pierre's expertise and some work from us. With regards to Lisa's day care it is a massive comfort knowing that the dogs are well looked after and have great fun at the same time!
Amazing!!! Marlo our cocker spaniel absolutely loves his pack walk once a week. He loves Pierre, enjoys socialising with other dogs, enjoys learning from the pack an exploring different areas. Breaks his week up from our normal walks. Also had some training from Pierre one to one which is also great. Such good team work between Lisa & Pierre to make it all work. Big thank you 😊🐾🐾 x

I highly recommend Poodle & Doodle for both training and doggy day care. We started training our pup Scooby as soon as he was able to with Pierre. My husband and I book in a session for Scooby at least once a week and with Pierre's knowledge and patience and lots of practice at home, Scooby is doing extremely well. The doggy day care side of Poodle & Doodle is great too, we have booked both Scooby and our Daughter's pup Archie in for a few hours and they both really seem to enjoy themselves. Lisa also updates us during their stay with lovely photos of them which is such a comfort. :)
Pierre and Lisa of Poodle & Doodle are simply brilliant! We approached them 3-4 weeks ago to take our little Cockapoo puppy out for walks, which they do and so much more! Pierre has helped with training our puppy whilst out on walks, and socialising him with other friendly dogs. We get a full rundown of what Bertie has been learning when he returns from his walk, which is very helpful in allowing us to continue his training at home. Poodle and Doodle do so much more than just walking your dog, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
Fantastic dog training by Pierre and Lisa. Before lessons our cavapoo Ruby couldn't recall, walk on a loose lead and got distracted easily. With just 4 sessions and some practice in between Ruby is now much better at them all. I can now let Ruby be trusted off lead and she walks well on loose lead along the road, we have also found we can get her distractracted attention back from almost anything with a bit of play. We have had lessons elsewhere before and what makes Pierre stand out is he starts the games and practice straight away on the 1st lesson and Ruby loved him.
Lisa and Pierre have been looking after and walking my two gundogs for many years and I couldn't think of anyone I would rather have to look after them. They treat them as if they are their own and their care and love for my dogs is amazing! They are incredibly reliable and I have the peace of mind when I am away on holiday or at work that they are in very good hands and being well looked after. I would highly recommend them!
Piere was so good with weller, my 6 month old english bull terrier, not only taught weller a few things but taught us too, will book again, highly recommend

My dog is so happy here. The dogs day is spent playing together with the other dogs and being played with and looked after by the staff. It is excellent environment for dogs and puppies. My dog has been coming a day a week since they were a tiny pup. It taught them to mix well with other dogs. It has helped my dog be the social, happy friendly dog he is now. He is always eager to go and exhausted when he gets back from all that play. Even though this is a doggy hotel and daycare, not a kennel, it is such amazing value. The staff are amazing, and you can really tell they love the dogs, and I trust them. Thank you so much.
My boys absolutely love going to Rachel's doggy lodge! They've been going there pretty much since they were a year old and still get so excited every time we drop them off. Rachel and the team are the only people I trust to look after the boys when we go away and I cannot thank them enough for always going above and beyond for us. I honestly wouldn't take the boys anywhere else
Gracie loves coming here. She bounds in without a backward look and comes home exhausted after spending all day playing with her doggy friends. She has also boarded at times which has got us out of a fix! The lovely staff are always super helpful.
The beagles love it! Every time they come home they spend three days sleeping :D The biggest difference between the doggy lodge and a typical boarding is the noise. When you drive up to a typical boarding you can hear dogs barking non stop from a mile away. That’s not to say the dogs at doggy lodge don’t bark but the difference is clearly they play with other dogs, run around and do dog stuff. They seem a lot more relaxed and more like a playing field or a mini holiday rather than just boarding. All of the guys are great as well very considerate of different needs of the animals. Overall it’s always been great here the beagles love it couldn’t be happier.
Rocket has been using occasional day care and going on his holidays at Rachel's Doggy Lodge for 4 years now. He's a velcro dog who can be a bit nervous around other dogs but I never have to worry about him when he's there. Everyone takes great care of all the dogs and socialising has done him the world of good. Couldn't rate the team more highly.
We have been taking our dog Dave to Rachel’s doggy lodge for 7 years. Dave loves going for a full fun packed day. All of the team look after the dogs as if they are their own. We also use the boarding too when we are away & we know Dave is well looked after and has his perfect holiday! If you are looking for daycare or boarding Rachel’s doggy lodge has it all. Having an 8 year old Velcro Cockerpoo who has never been left with anyone other than family I was definitely worried about where I could leave her for our holiday this year now that circumstances had changed. Well I needn’t have worried! Rachel and her team worked hard with our precious Ruby introducing and reassuring her in her trials before we left. Rachel reviewed and monitored Ruby and didn’t think she would be very confident staying overnight at the lodge so instead took her back to her own home every night where Ruby evicted Rachel’s own dogs to the floor and slept in Rachel’s bed instead! When you find someone who loves your dog as much as you do you know you have found the right place. Couldn’t recommend this place more absolutely amazing!
Our lab has regularly been going to Rachel's Doggy Lodge for the day and as a boarder since she was a puppy and we wouldn't send her anywhere else. She is always so excited to see her doggy and human friends, instantly standing up and wagging her tail as we turn down the familiar road. Rachel and her team take good care of the dogs in their charge and have helped us out of some sticky situations when public transport has stopped us getting home after time away. Thank you to all the team for looking after our pup so well!

My partner enquired regarding boarding our dog. He was polite to start then when he found out we have a bull breed dog he became extremely rude. Shocking considering he promotes as a dog trainer. Fair enough if you don't board certain breed and choose to discriminate but at least be professional about it.

The staff here are just amazing. Always helpful, always professional. Been looking after my dog for years now and she loves it here. Absolutely love taking our dog to High Barn Hall Kennels, Andy the owner is A1 when it comes to putting you at ease on your very first visit. All of the girls are fantastic too and you can see that everyone is happy to be there and seeing the dogs going in and out for walks with their tails wagging all the time just puts you at ease. Our boy always comes back well exercised and happy. Best kennels we have ever used and we travel quite a way to have our boy with a kennels we trust 100%.

Our rescue dog has been going on holiday here for a few years now. He loves it excited when he gets there. Plenty of walks socially this kennals is great for our dog too. Medication is not a problem either.
I have taken my lab Zeus here twice, once for day care and once overnight. He loved it! It was recommended to me and I will always use these kennels now.
I use these kennels every year for my chocolate lab, she absolutely loves it here and doesn’t want to come home, staff are always so friendly and helpful. It’s always reassuring to know my dogs is well looked after while we are away

Used the kennels a few times now and have always had a good experience, Archie seems to enjoy his time and always comes back happy, if not a little tired. The staff are always helpful and often post pictures on their Facebook page, so you can keep up to date whilst away. All round good kennels and would recommend.
Our 2 dogs love staying here. We'll looked after and it's obviously that all that work there love the animals that stay and love their job there

We found Alpha a couple of years ago. We found them very accomodating. Our Greyhound is a bit shy and afraid of men, but Alan gets on well with her. When we took her to other kennels she used to refuse to get out of the car. But here she cant wait to get out and get into the field. They also offer a pick up and drop off service.. would recommend..thanks Alpha
Great boarding kennels, my dog Oscar loves it here. The other great thing about this kennels, is they post pictures and videos on Facebook, which is great because you get to keep up with how your dog is doing...
Both my dogs seem to enjoy their stay whenever I leave them there, and I have no hesitation in recommending these kennels. They are clean, spacious and warm, and are looked after by caring owners.
