Sandra and Randy had come to our house the weekend before we left, to meet Rusé, who took to them both, greeting them at the front door like long lost friends. We were away a week and received updates and photos along the way. The house was in perfect shape, and everything was neat and tidy. We (and Rusé) would certainly have Sandra and Randy back again.
Elizabeth and Matthew were wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for better dog/house sitters for our long vacation of almost 6 weeks. They adapted easily to our home and most important, bonded with our dog Kronos and gave him excellent care in our absence, even buying him some new toys. We are very grateful for their friendliness and consideration during their time in our home. They are highly recommended by us.
Holly came to our rescue and took care of the house with a dog and two cats so we could visit family out of state during the busy holiday season. She signed on way back in the summer and kept in touch a few times before arrival. Overall, the pets were happy and healthy upon return, the house was clean and organized, and we were relieved to have things back to normal after travelling. She had to deal with near record snowfall and cold, along with our snowplow contractor's schedule, and the isolation that goes with living in the woods. My only critique would be for more contact, including during the stay with pictures of the pets, house, etc., which is something we appreciated from prior sitters, not too much but just a note once a week or so is nice. But otherwise, Holly did a great job of taking care of things, including the car and considering the winter driving conditions she must have encountered that is something in the middle of December in coastal Alaska! I would recommend Holly for a sitting position to others in need.
