A beautiful house with a lovely garden in a VERY interesting part of Bristol (also walking distance to the city centre) and, most importantly, with two gorgeous and friendly Maine Coons. Although I didn't meet Elizabeth in the end, she had her friend show me around the house when I arrived and was always ready to answer any questions and communicate any important information. We appreciate Emily inviting us to sit in Adam and her home with Miso and Mochi. We loved their company and they appeared to enjoy ours; sleeping on our bed or close by most nights. It was an easy down walk to the City and to Itchen Way so we were able to explore the river banks into the city center and the impressive Cathedral and learn more about the city's ancient historical background. The city is associated with King Alfred the Great, the Knights of the Round Table and Jane Austen all of which we found most interesting. Thank you, Emily, Adam, Miso and Mochi for the opportunity!
One of my nicest House Sits! Luke and Saffron were so kind and welcomed me into their lovely home in a beautiful area of Bristol. Fergus, the cockapoo is an adorable scamp and we had some great, sunny walks on the Downs, Blaise Castle and more. Millie, Burmese, warmed to me by the end of the week and the family were delighted she was so "normal" and not fazed by her week with me. Praise indeed! We had a lovely sit at Becky’s gorgeous home. Rosie and Bella were wonderful dogs and a pleasure to walk. Becky’s home is very comfortable and has everything you need. The garden is lovely and has lots of great places to sit and enjoy the weather. Broughton is a beautiful village in a beautiful part of the countryside. We had an amazing first TrustHousesitters experience at this colourful and quirky house. The hosts made sure we were settled in and gave us all the information we needed, before heading off. Tirion and Dwynwen are such loving dogs, and the chickens kept us entertained. The location is in close proximity to the Brecon Beacons and waterfall country too! I would highly recommend this housesit for anyone visiting the Welsh countryside.

Couldn't recommend Robyn for grooming more. Its so clear she absolutely loves every dog that comes in like her own, skye was treated so well, she looked and smelled fantastic when she left with her adorable Christmas bandana. Wouldn't even consider going elsewhere!
Super went back with my boy to try out jackets they have such lovely stuff at a good price. Came out with a jacket a bed and some treats aund will be notified when a coat comes back in in a bigger size as my puppy grows fast

Martyn is amazing and we are so glad to have found him. He treated my fur baby as if she were his own (and I truly mean that). From the second we met him and his adorable pup Mylo on an introductory visit to our house, we knew (including my 13 year old daughter who thought he was both lovely and funny) that Winnie would have a fabulous holiday and our worries about leaving her were gone. I would recommend Martyn to anyone looking for a dog walker/boarder as it’s not just a job for him but a passion.

This company are exceptional always on time and ready. My dog comes back well walked, happy and loving life and clean. Martyn is a dab hand with all dog types and provides pictures and updates of their day. He also boarded my dog for 2 weeks while I was in holiday and again service was 1st class with daily updates and videos. You will not be disappointed.
My pup absolutely loves his day care days with The Waggly Tail Pack and he always comes home absolutely shattered after a fun filled day with his furry friends (and the occasional nap with Leigh 🥰 when Martyn is out with the gang). I have booked my dog in with The Waggy Tail Pack three times now for my dog and cannot express how much of a fabulous service this is. Martyn was amazing with my dog who can be quite sassy and particular who she spends her time with but from the pictures Martyn sent me I could clearly see she was having a ball being the centre of attention. Will continue to use this service in the future.
My Zana absolutely loves her walks or daycare with The Waggly Tail Pack. She waits at the window for the car and gets so excited when she sees it arrive, tail going overdrive and running to the door. She has a ball out on all different walks with her friends and comes home ready for a wee treat and a nap. Seeing her so happy gives me so much reassurance and I know she is well looked after.
We have trusted Martyn and family with our girl Zahra on a few breaks away now, they are committed, trustworthy and very caring for the canine friends they look after, plenty exercise and loving attention taken, our girl loves her stay and would highly recommend the team for any people with potential doubt, hard thing leaving part of the family but have no fears, we'll looked after thanks Martyn
Just had an induction for my miniature dachshund to join the day care. It could not of went any better, they were very informative and were very keen to answer any questions I had. I got to see Gary on the CCTV playing with the other dogs and everything looked amazing!! Can’t wait to get started.
My wee Luna has been coming here for 7 months and we have had an amazing experience. She is so happy going in, I can see she has a good bond with all the staff here. It has given her so much more confidence with other dogs outside and she is exhausted for hours when she comes home. Highly reccomend!

My dog was also unfortunately attacked at this establishment. Whilst they covered my dogs immediate vet bill 2 months on this has caused irreparable damage to his socialisation with other dogs which is likely going to take a long time to train out. We entered with a sociable playful and confident dog and left with an anxious dog that barks at his own reflection 🥺
Honestly if I could give no stars I would. I put my dog in for his first day and within 2 1/2 hours I got a call saying he had been attacked. I had phoned to check on him 15 minutes before and was told he was getting on well, a little nervous and just trying to suss out what was going on. This then changed when I got the call. I was given conflicting information more than once. I did not receive one phone call or any interest on how my dog was. I had to phone the next day for a clear explanation on what had happened however I still did not receive this. They can only tell me what they ‘think’ has happened and they ‘think’ he was attacked by 3 dogs. When I questioned why they couldn’t check their cameras that were pointed out in the induction I was then told these do not record and are live footage only. I think it is completely unacceptable from a business point of view that I had to chase this and no one made contact with me when I had the injured dog. I also did not receive one apology (until I pointed this out) and was not asked once how my dog was. What was supposed to be a fun and exciting experience for my young dog has turned into something that I would never repeat again.
Absolutely amazing doggy day care, have been so understanding and patient with me as unfortunately I am one of they anxious dog mums who doesn’t like to leave their furry friend with anyone except my parents. But they’ve been amazing and so reliable and accommodating to whatever your needs are. He absolutely loves going in and can tell he doesn’t want to leave which says it all to me he loves it and is knackered afterwards which is always good lol. Couldn’t recommend them enough and thank them soo much for looking after my boy when I can’t while at work. Keep up the amazing work guys and thanks again for all you do.

My dog Alfie stayed with Liz for 8 nights and he had the best time. Alfie felt right at home, he loved all the attention and cuddles. Liz took him plenty of walks and always kept me updated with what they were doing, sending me lots of pictures. Would definitely book Liz again 😊🤍 …
Liz helped us out with looking after our dog and 2 cats while we were away on holiday. At short notice she came for a no charge intro to the pets and showed us all her paperwork, 1st aid etc. She got along with the animals right away which is unusual for our dog who can be nervous on a first meeting. She gave us detailed updates on her visits and put us at ease while we were away. It's clear Liz has a real love of animals and that they respond very well to her confident and relaxed approach. Liz was very flexible around our needs and the cost was very reasonable. Thanks again Liz 😊
Liz walked our dog while we were on holiday. She offered a free meet and greet with us and our dog before we went. Our dog took to her straight away. He has never been so calm around a new person. She was like a dog whisperer 😅 Whilst on holiday sent loads of pictures and videos each day to keep us updated. This really helped to put our mind at ease as it was the first time we had left him. Liz was great with our dog and treated him like one of her own. She was professional and really friendly. She had great communication with phone calls and WhatsApp messages. We would recommend Liz and will definitely use her again.
Not reliable. My partner and I had to cancel our Anniversary Weekend due to, as defined by Liz, a "simple oversight from her.". Having to cancel our Anniversary Weekend is anything but simple. It would have been our first holiday in one year and a half due to health issues. In February, Liz communicated her planned holidays for 2024 to all clients. There were no holidays in February and March and nothing before the end of April. At the beginning of March, we asked about her availability to home-board our dog on a weekend in March or the beginning of April. We didn't ask for a specific date. We decided to adapt our plans to her preferences to avoid any nasty surprises. She texted us four available weekends that would not interfere with her personal and familial plans (quoting her messages). After informing her of our choice among the dates she gave us, we organised our weekend away. Ten hours later, Liz decided to include that same weekend in her holiday plan, informing us that she would no longer be available on the agreed weekend. Considering that Liz provided us with that date, she justified herself by defining the mistake as a simple oversight. Finally, she texted in private my husband, trying to convince him that my upset was an overreaction. To answer your reply: 1) you gave us Easter as an available weekend, specifying that it was not interfering with your personal and family plans 2) I confirmed to you the Easter weekend after 2 hours 3) after 10 hours, you change your mind. Please advise your two clients who wrote personal attacks against me (without proof) to remove every offending and bullying comment.
Wow….just goes to show that in business, you can’t please everyone, no matter how hard you try. Firstly, your comments in your ‘Very Poor’ rant are clearly a personal grievance which you seem to have with Liz. Having read her response to your rant, it is clear to me that Liz made every attempt to accommodate you, but you seem to only want to very publicly give a blatantly one sided character assassination. We have had our dog with Liz from the very start. Liz is a very hard working individual and Carson just adores her. The service she has given from day 1 has been outstanding and we are so lucky to have found Liz for our German Shepherd dog, who can be hard work at times, believe me. Liz has never let us down in any shape or form and we would highly recommend her to anyone. In my honest opinion, I think you should remove the message/review you have left slating this very reliable, hard working and trustworthy individual. It’s actually embarrassing. Take a look at all the other reviews left on Google, or FaceBook for Tails n Trails….it clearly shows a very satisfied customer base in that yours is the only negative review. It doesn’t paint a good picture of yourself in your attempt of a Character Assassination of a young business and a trusted and respected individual. We have been using liz from the very start of her setting up this business, our 2 boys Nelson and Spencer are old boys and absolutely love spending time with liz when she comes in for their drop in visits whilst we are at work. It is non stop tail wagging and fun for the duration of their time with liz. We have used liz for drop in's and pet sitting, and have another pet sitting booked in very soon. Liz is an absolute diamond and provides excellent care to our boys and have never had any problems with her service. If anything she goes above & beyond to provide exceptional customer service. My hubby works shifts and is on standby, I work full time and at times iv literally asked liz the day before I need my boys seen to if she can make it. Liz has NEVER declined this. Even days where she is absolutely full she'll still make it. Unfortunately recently my mother passed away and we were not at home as much. Liz was here for my boys which let us spend those precious times with my mum, I couldn't of done this without her. She provided increased drop in's ensuring boys were fed. Let out. Played with and most of all comforted as let's all agree dogs certainly sense grief and anxiety. On the day of mum funeral liz dedicated even more of her time to spend with our boys to make sure they were ok. I can't praise liz enough for her hard work, Dedication, her LOVE for animals, and her kindness. It absolutely shocks me that people can leave such a bad review on here re her service, please take NO notice of this, its clear by reading that review they have got the hump.i always phone liz to book pet sitting when I'm booking a holiday, she checks the diary if free books me in then I transfer money to secure my booking. Easy as that, maybe try that in future ACT PROMPTLY IF YOU WANT YOUR PET LOOKED AFTER pay to secure your booking, book quick to AVOID disappointment- this is clearly the case re your bad review. Liz @ Trails ‘n’ Tails is a true animal lover! Our nervous Mini Labradoodle Olly has just boarded with Liz for a full week whilst we were on holiday & he has had an amazing time. Liz has looked after Olly like he is her own dog & it is truly is a home from home for your dog. This was Olly’s 1st experience staying with anyone who isn’t family and it genuinely couldn’t have gone any better. Liz sent me daily updates which were great to ease a nervous owner. Liz also walks Olly for us and and as he was due to board with her she spent lots of time getting to know Olly prior to his stay, including all his little quirks that were noted down before we left. I can honestly say Olly is waiting for Liz to collect him and a day after being home is missing his holiday with Liz already. If anyone would like to speak to me prior to booking Liz just ask her for my number when you get in touch with her and I’ll be more than happy to chat anything through with you. Sarah is such a warm & welcoming person, our meet & greet went very well, our nosey little dog enjoyed sniffing around Sarah’s home & playing in the garden. It was instantly obvious to us that Sarah is a genuine caring animal lover. When we dropped Alfie off to stay he recognised Sarah’s home & charged inside, giving us no doubts that he was very comfortable & in good hands. Sarah sent regular updates, he is a bundle of energy & this was well catered for with walks & ball play in the garden. Alfie was so well cared for with lots of hugs & attention. We came home to a very happy little dog. We would highly recommend Sarah, we know that Alfie would love to stay with Sarah & her family again.
I can't recommend P&N pet sitting enough! When I needed someone last minute a few weeks ago to watch my golden retriever, Charlie, Sarah and her family (and furry family) came to the rescue. From our initial meet and greet, it was clear that Sarah is a true animal lover. She even provided a personalised treat bag, which was such a lovely touch! Charlie stayed with her for 2 nights initially and he has just completed a 6-day stay. Honestly, I couldn't think of anywhere else I’d want him to be while I'm away. Sarah sends regular updates with videos and picture diaries, showcasing all the fun they're having together. It’s so reassuring to see how well cared for Charlie is, which allows me to enjoy my time away without worry. If you're looking for a caring and reliable place for your pet, look no further! Can’t recommend Sarah enough!!!! My little cat is getting older and any disruption to her routine is stressful for her, she’ll stop eating or hide away. We decided to try a drop in service to allow her to stay in her own home hoping it would be more comfortable for her. I’m so glad we did it because Sarah was fantastic, she really understands animals and how to respect their boundaries. So impressed that she managed to get Disco to play and she ate as normal. The pictures and updates really helped keep our minds at ease and when we got home Disco was happy and content. Also totally didn’t expect Sarah to do extra bits like washing my cats dishes and emptying my bin. Absolutely amazing service ❤️❤️❤️

We are so glad to have found Sarah at P&N Pet Sitting! She is absolutely great with my dog Ralph (French Bulldog) who has stayed over several times now and we are booked up for the coming year. Sarah has been great with Ralph, very welcoming and took plenty of time to make sure he settled well. He has several health issues which requires medication and Sarah took the time to discuss and understand. The minute I met her I immediately knew I was leaving my boy in the best hands. He loves his time spent there! The relief I now have to have finally found a home from home for Ralph is immense. As we know it’s very hard to find people like Sarah to trust with our fur babies. I booked peppa into P&N pet sitting last minute due to a family bereavement. Sarah is fantastic , we filled out a form that asked lots of questions about peppa , we also had a meet & greet. During peppas stay I was updated regularly about how she was getting on and Peppa had an absolute ball , it brought great comfort to me knowing she was settled well and that Sarah was taking great care of her. Any time we go on holiday we always book our bunnies in with Frances. It is like their second home. Frances always looks after them so well & is very passionate about her job & clearly loves spending time with them. We can’t thank Frances enough and it gives us peace of mind when we are away knowing that the bunnies are well looked after.
Jerry and Bob love coming for there holidays , Frances spoils them and they have so much fun. Frances is sp good with the animals it's its so reassuring know they are in the best hands when I am on holiday.
I am trying to find the best description but it’s really hard. Simple: EXCELLENT! Our Gizmo (hermann tortoise) enjoyed his lovely holiday. We got plenty of pictures/videos about his adventures. It’s not a pet boarding it’s a HOTEL! :) If you are planning a holiday and you have to left behind your small loved one, I can highly recommend this place. Your little one will be in the greatest hands. I took a look around the place, and the all I can say: It’s just brilliant! Nice organized place, bunnies, tortoises and guinea piggies like a little zoo. I love it. I am absolutely sure we will book again soon.
Excellent experience. Frances explained everything, took good care of our animals and kept us updated. The other animals in her care also clearly loved it there! We will be returning next summer all being well.
Our bunny had a weeks holiday at McMarshys. She was a pampered bun with plenty of exercise time everyday. Frances was very welcoming and showed us about the place which is always very reassuring for a bunny mum. Got lots of pics to update us during the week which was fantastic. When collecting her we got to see how relaxed she was at her holiday home, don’t think she wanted to leave. So glad I found this place. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Frances x
This is the best place to send your animals. Frances looks after them from start to finish and nothing is an issue for her ! She even upon request to try for us, Got all three of our bunnies bonded as we had just lost our 4 th rabbit ! They are happy here and have the full garden to jump about as well! We also took our tortoise here. She is very reliable with a great service will 100% be back!

Our rabbit Wombat had a chill and full of love holiday at McMarshys. Frances regularly sent us the video and photos, this is very appreciated, as we miss wombat during the trip. But definitely, wombat forgot us, he made friends with his neighbors, walk around the garden, happy hop a lots. Seems like his home now, wombat said he will be back. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

This is our horsefield tortoise's second stay with Frances and we are so happy. Frances is hugely knowledgeable and loving towards all the animals in her care. She provided him with a great temporary set up as ours is too large to be portable and sent regular updates on WhatsApp. Tortie had a wonderful holiday and has been very well looked after. 10/10 recommend
Jade watches my boy Oskar regularly and I was very apprehensive about making sure my puppy was going to be in the right hands, now I wouldn't trust anyone else with him. I even noticed an improvement in his behaviour after a few stays with Jade. Shes amazing with him and I highly recommend anyone looking for daycare or overnights to contact Jade's animal stays. The price is cheaper than anyone else I've seen and she even picks Oskar up as I dont drive.
Jade has been brilliant with my lurcher jules, she has got her being great around other dogs just by having her for a couple of overnights and she is going for an eight day stay in august, something i could never imagine, jadeis anazing xx
Use jade knowing my fur babies are well cared for while I’m on holiday , plenty video calls and pictures help take the stress out , my 2 go wild when they see her so that says it all , jade gets all their likes dislikes niggles before the visit and treats them like we do , home from home and plenty of attention given I 100% recommend
I can’t recommend Dogs Paws First enough. My French Bulldog Ralph has been boarding with Jean and her family when we go on holiday over the last four years. It’s a real home from home experience for Ralph to enjoy with the added benefit of having other dogs to play and socialise with. It gives me great peace of mind knowing Ralph is happy there and I know I’m leaving him in good hands. Jean at Dogs Paws First is professional in her business but treats the dogs in her care with lots of love and attention and I couldn’t ask for more for my little pooch. Keep up the good work ..

Excellent service and a natural with dogs! My dogs have been going to Jean for both daycare and holiday boarding since 2018 and I wouldn’t send them anywhere else. Our dogs always sprint to the door so that’s certainly a sign that they enjoy themselves and we receive regular updates when they are in her care. Our latest addition has had some behavioural problems but Jean has been excellent and so supportive - he feels completely comfortable around her (and her lovely dogs!).

We recently bought our beautiful cockapoo puppy of Jean and Richard. As first time puppy owners we were quite confused by all the information and at times somewhat dubious breeders out there. Jean simply couldn’t have been more helpful and reassuring. She gave us lots of advise and support over the first few days of our puppy coming home and even went out of her way to ensure we got the best available care plan package with our local vet. Our pup passed her first head to paw health check with flying colours and our vet was most impressed by the professionalism of the paperwork we had been sent home with. I simply couldn’t recommend Jean and Richard highly enough! One happy doggy owner :)
I recently had to find home boarding for our 3 year old Lhasa Apso Archie for a week and Jean was recommended by Archie's dog walker. We met Jean at her home so that she could meet Archie and make sure he would get on ok with her own dogs.....and liked his holiday home. Jean was very welcoming and Archie got on with Jean and her dogs instantly. While Archie was holidaying with Jean we had lots of updates, pictures and videos which enforced our reassurance he was both being well looked after and having a ball with his new friends and his new walks. As any dog owner knows it's tough handing your precious pup over to someone else however I'd have no hesitation in using Dogs Paws First for Archie in the future. I first started using Dogs Paws First over a year ago for my puppy Martha. As a first time dog owner I was nervous about leaving Martha, however when I met Jean she put me at ease with her relaxed and friendly manner and her love for dogs was obvious. With the additional benefit of having 3 dogs of their own, great facilities and a wealth of knowledge I knew my puppy would be in good hands. A year later, I now have 2 puppies who both go to Dogs Paws First a couple of days every week as well as regular overnight stays. I get updates and pictures of their adventures and I know my puppies have a great time and are well taken care of as part of a great family. Lisa was absolutely fantastic when it came to accommodating our dog spike at the last minute. Spike is normally very shy and timid around new people but was right over to her taking biscuits from her!! (they say dogs can sense things so he obviously knew he was in good hands) Lisa updated us with how he was doing both through messages and photos which was great! Spike was well looked after and came out fresh and clean as he had been bathed aswell which was 1 less job for me when I got him home. Would definitely recommend woodhall kennels 5*. Lisa was absolutely fantastic with our dog. From the minute we dropped Lubo off you could see how great she was with dogs. Will defo use again.
Got my dogs back from a 2 night stay and they were wet and smelled of urine Smell was Not pleasant at all.... Lucky I had cover for dogs to sit on in car for me to get them home and straight into bath
