Hannah was wonderful with our fur babies! They tend to be very shy around new people but warmed up to Hannah quickly. She was very attentive to Neve during a storm and to Beetle when she stepped on a bee. And sent cute photos which we appreciated! Will happily have her back!

Thoughtful, considerate, and clean sitters! Nicole and Maggie were the perfect sitters. We completely trusted our kitties and house in their competent hands. We traveled abroad, and they were flexible with messaging apps, took into account time zones, and let us know when they were home if we wanted anything checked. They obviously love animals and got to know the individual personalities of our boys. They even kept an extra look out and sent videos of one of the kitties who may have hurt himself before we left. They celebrated cat lap time and didn't neglect play. When we arrived home, sheets and towels had been washed, the house was sparkling clean, and even some kitchen amenities were restocked. It was wonderful to come home to our space just how we left it, and our kitties happy and healthy.

Laura and Michael and their two sons, Samuel and Sebastian, watched our place while we visited our daughter in Portland OR. They arrived the day before we left to get aquatinted with the house and the animals. Our location was convenient for the family because Michael was participating in a seniors track meet at UVA. While we were gone there was an animal emergency which required a trip to the vet for Abby, one of our dogs. Laura kept us informed regularly on the status of Abby which was comforting. We have one challenging young dog (Rosita) who has enough energy for five dogs. Laura and the boys handled her with grace and firm, consistent love. I think, based on pics sent to me, that Samuel and Sebastian bonded well with her. All of our other animals (cats, fish, chickens) were also well looked after. The house was clean and tidy when we returned home and a bottle of wine awaited us on the kitchen table. Laura and Michael have a lovely family. We enjoyed their company and our home will always be open for them. I neglected to ask Michael about his success at the track meet. It was quite a hot week.

Our cats love Gigi. She is a superior communicator. She shares pictures of the cats with us while we are away, which my wife loves. Gigi takes great care of our home as well, which is a nice bonus and unlike other sitters we have used. She's a gem.

John was very personable and made this sit happen after having a car accident a few days before. He loved Pepper and gave him loads of love. Pepper needed medication which he did and did what no other sitter has ever done…he brushed his teeth daily , that’s dedication! We were in Scotland and had cummication every day. Thank you John. Cynthia was a great sitter! She was very communicative, letting me know when she arrived, if she had questions, and when she left. She also sent me daily updates and pics of my "kids." The cats seemed to warm up to her very quickly, and my house was spotless when I returned. Highly recommend!

Gina and family came to housesit our little hobby farm and far exceeded our expectations. This was our first time using zeewoi and we were quite nervous. Even just communicating with Gina before the sit helped calm our nerves, and then meeting their lovely family the night before we departed left us feeling confident and assured that our animals were in great hands. We have donkeys, sheep, a pig, chickens, ducks, a goose, a rabbit, a dog and two cats. It was no small job and they handled it all top notch. Gina sent updates and photos everyday which I absolutely loved. Our cat really warmed up to Chris and even slept with him at night which he never does when he has to share his bedroom with human guests. Gina and family asked questions to clarify instructions when needed and took great care of our eldery dog who has Cushings disease and a mass on his gallbladder. Her son even gave us a beautiful hand drawn picture of our dog in his favorite recliner. All in all, they did an amazing job, and we would be delighted to have them sit for us again. We highly highly recommend Gina and family!

Abbie

Abbie was phenomenal! This was certainly the most difficult and eventful sit we've ever handed off to anyone and we were lucky to have her for it. She was so communicative, adaptable, reliable, and handled all the unexpected events with understanding and good humor. Our dog Tuna is people-shy, dog-reactive and had a health scare prior to the sit, so Abbie had some extra responsibilities from the start. In addition to the daily medical updates we requested, she also sent extra photos and little snippets of their daily happenings. We could see how comfortable Tuna was getting with her! When Tuna refused to go down our usual off-leash trails for unknown personal canid reasons, Abbie pivoted and explored until she was able to find an alternate route for long walks. Leash walking around a neighborhood is never as fun as off-leash trails, but Abbie was committed to getting Tuna's daily exercise in and safely led her through the local traffic (tricky when your nosy dog likes watch oncoming cars from the middle of the road). When a large loose dog charged at them, Abbie kept Tuna calm and kept both dogs safely separated until the owner was able to wrangle their dog back inside. We came back to a clean house, happy plants, and of course, a happy Tuna. We'd recommend Abbie anywhere!

Hope and Terra were great! They took excellent care of Rae, who was not feeling well when they arrived. They let me know and handled the situation without any concerns on my part. They left the house clean, and I could not even tell they had been here. They communicated with me as needed and shared photos of Rae, which I loved!

Isabella is sweet, fun and super cute. She likes to cuddle with you and gives you kisses. We love how she tilts her head when you say something to her, and how excited she is when she sees us putting on our shoes to take her for a walk or ride. 

Carey and Deborah are amazing couple. They are communicative and welcoming. We met them for beer before the sit, and had a great time getting to know each other. Their house is comfortable and beautiful, and in a diverse and vibrant neighborhood. It's quiet and safe. Restaurants, brewery, coffee shops, and Seward Park all within walking distance. We were also fortunate enough to taste the fruits of their plum tree every day when we were there. 
We would highly recommend housesitting for them.

We had a fantastic experience looking after Maggie and Oliver! They are both very friendly cats and were easy (and fun!) to care for. The house was extremely clean when we arrived, which we were very thankful for, and it was well equipped for everything we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed playing with the Oculus VR set and watching movies from their extensive DVD collection :). The area was very safe and located near a variety of different shops and restaurants. Amy and Dan are very friendly, flexible and accommodating hosts. We recommend this sit to anyone who wants to have a great experience visiting Raleigh!
