This was our second sit for Caren and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is so cosy and well equipped and they were kind enough to leave us a voucher for the local Indian takeaway. Our bed was extremely comfortable and they have all the amenities you could wish for and more. Betty and Lois are an absolute joy to be around… They became our shadows for the two weeks and are happy to relax in front of the TV but also loved accompanying us on days out to the local market towns and would walk me around the local area too. They’re so well behaved and Monty the cat is a lovely soul. He preferred to do his own thing but was always there for a stroke or two in the evenings. My 2 year old Granddaughter adored Lois and Betty and I felt completely comfortable letting her interact and play with them, they’re so well trained and have a beautiful nature. The local area is picturesque and the house is beautiful with great parking, good WI-FI so I could work from home and a cosy log fire in the living room. I had a lovely time taking care of the adorable kitties Penny and Olive over the Thanksgiving holiday. Susanne & David were so welcoming and their home is delightful and comfortable. Very grateful to have had this special opportunity!
Floyd is a big sweetheart! He's high energy, but only in positive and lovable ways. We had a blast playing tug, or going on walk-runs, and when it was time to settle down, whether it was mid-day, or bedtime, that was always fine with Floyd. He's exuberant, but Krista and Chris have done an excellent job in training him. He listens, sits, waits when appropriate on walks, etc. They have also set up their backyard to be very Floyd-friendly, and that is very helpful. Their home is very sitter-friendly, a classic older Portland home that they have made into a very cozy (but roomy) place to stay. Krista's communiction style is great - friendly but matter of fact. My stay was just a few short days, but I am sure even an extended stay would be as wonderful and easy as this one was. Floyd wants to sit literally ON you, so as long as you're ok politely suggesting he sit NEXT to you (and he then will), you're good!
Renee and Paul are the nicest people. They made everything very comfortable. Willa and Bentley are great pets to care for.
We had a fantastic housesit looking after Willow at George and Ellen‘s home in the town of Hillsborough, just south of San Francisco. I felt very welcome when I stopped in the night before for a quick visit and meet and greet with Willow and to get a tour of their beautiful home. Their home has everything needed for a very comfortable stay including a fantastic chef’s kitchen. Unfortunately, because of the weather, we did not get an opportunity to enjoy their spectacular backyard and the great ocean view. Their home is a short drive to San Francisco and also excellent hiking trails that overlook the Pacific Ocean. Willow is a very special dog and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. It took about one hour for her to bond with us and then she happily joined us on all of our adventures. She walked perfectly on leash and was really well behaved in the car and seemed to really enjoy our outings . She also loved playing with her toys or just snuggling on the sofa. Truly an easy dog to care for and love. Our dog KodiBear accompanied us on our housesit and looked like the mini me version of Willow. We were stopped multiple times on our walks with both dogs with people asking if they were mother and daughter. Very entertaining! They got along great and quickly became fast friends. Overall, a very enjoyable housesit, and we would happily return again for a longer stay.
Our stay in Winster was perfect. From the very start, Martin and Deborah made everything easy. They are excellent at communicating before and during a sit. They are such a generous, kind and welcoming partnership making us feel totally at ease. Bernie and Mister are beautiful dogs to take care of. We have all fallen in love with them. They are extremely easy and laid back dogs, great with people including children. Both are brilliant on walks, well trained on the lead. There are some lovely walks straight from the house. The home itself is a delight to be in with such thoughtful design to make a comfortable and functional home. The village is in a beautiful part of the Peak District close to Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton. We would not hesitate to recommend to other sitters, we loved it so much we are already returning in a month’s time. Thank you for your hospitality and trust.

Milo boarded for three nights at this location. He was happy and clean when we picked him up. Rich and Nick were very attentive and accommodating to our needs. We have had positive experience after positive experience at K9 resort in Hamilton. Our dogs are so excited walking in their doors and exhausted when we pick them up. They love playing with all the dogs and we love that they get to board at night together in the same suite. The staff is super friendly, always a pleasure to talk with them.
K9 Resorts Hamilton is providing excellent care for our three dogs and equally good service to their humans. They have been very informative and helpful as we got started with boarding and day- care, initially on short notice. Nick in particular is a great representative for this location and has provided great service. Our dogs are comfortable there, well cared-for, and come home happily worn-out from play.
We LOVE k9 luxury resorts. We use them for boarding, at the reccomendation of our veterinarian, and have had wonderful experiences. Our dog loves this place so much that we can't even say the word "daycare" without promoting a zoomie. The staff is great and I feel very comfortable leaving my pup here. He comes back tired and happy.
I brought my dog here for the day while we moved. I was impressed from the first phone call to inquire to picking him up. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and knowledgeable. The resort is so organized and all of the staff is on the same page. The customer service was superior and my dog did so well.. he is also a very overstimulated, high strung dog. I was nervous for how we would do, but they said he did great! Definitely reccomend if you need doggy daycare!!
K9 is amazing!!!! Pixie’s home away from home. Our pup LOVES going to “school” to see all her “friends!” The facilities are clean, top notch and smell amazing. The staff are all so professional, welcoming and kind. We love Nick and his team. Thank you for being here k9– you are a godsend for our active pup and family.
We left our two labs for 4 nights recently and it was a wonderful experience. Rich made us feel very comfortable about leaving them while showing us the facility. It was very clean and Rich was kind to answer all of my questions and concerns. It was so comforting while we were away to see their pictures posted on the Facebook page. When we picked them up they seriously looked SO happy and well taken care of! I got a report of their stay when I got there, which is a nice touch! They were also sweet smelling and clean! I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this K9 Resort! Rich and his staff were amazing.
K9 Resorts in Hamilton was a wonderful place to board my dog. My sister recommended them and this was the first time we booked with them to board our 9 year old, 84 lbs lab/husky mix. The profile set up is very easy and thorough, and the staff answer any additional questions you may have. My dog seemingly had a great weekend there and I will definitely book again and would recommend K9 to any pet family.
The staff was very friendly, helpful, and understanding. My wife and I went on vacation and when she got back she ran into difficulties getting to K9 to pick up our doggos. The staff was super understanding and even stayed after business hours so she could pick up our dogs. We will definitely be using K9 at Hamilton again and highly recommend going with them.
K9 is top notch in all areas. I use them for full-day daycare and boarding. The staff is amazing and has my dog’s best interest in mind at all times. I am 100% comfortable dropping her off for the day and equally as comfortable dropping her off for a 7-day business trip. My dog is happy on drop off and still happy on pickup. I posted Simon's card as a fellow dog lover on a site I am on. I wanted to let people know about Ruff Day in the area. I was so pleased to see the response back. This was the response(S) I received back in the matter of a few hours. Actually, this is why I posted his card because I do see how he cares and works with the dogs. I see him many times a week and thought I would let people know we have a Dog Whisper in the area. Seems people do know....LOL Robin I second that. Simon is awesome. He is the only dog sitter we use when we go away. Our dog is always better behaved when we come back. Sometimes I think she is disappointed to see us back because she wants to keep playing with Simon. 😂 Kat We agree! Simon is the best! He's been our daily walker for over 3 years. Simon is the best. Friendly, caring and extremely knowledgeable. We trust him implicitly to come into our home and to take care of our black lab Rosie. He is a huge help during the work week and on weekends when we have a long day out. He has been fantastic in offering training and other behavioral suggestions. His online scheduling is easy and he always fits us into the schedule. A great resource for local dog owners.

Karyn and the entire Pet Sitters Right At Home of Hamilton Team have been a true godsend. I highly and enthusiastically recommend them. My doggie Dylan and I have been using their dog-walking services since the end of December 2023. I always receive pictures and updates on how Dylan is doing and nothing makes the workday better than that reassurance that Dylan is doing okay, that he got to walk, and interact with Karyn, James, Dylan (the walker), or any of the other walkers. Karyn also goes out of her way to be generally helpful, letting me know when she was concerned about Dylan's old harness, even ordering a harness to experiment with, and suggesting other alternatives. She once helped me deal with a mouse in my house, making it safer for both Dylan and me. Karyn is also quick to get back to me when I have needed to schedule last minute or make changes. Her and her team have been available on weekends and holidays when I have had to work and leave Dylan at home. Again, I highly recommend Pet Sitters Right at Home!
Karyn and her team of pet sitters are AMAZING! My dog Trixie is basically my third child, sometimes my favorite child…and they never disappoint with scratchers and loving on her when I’m not here. They are also fantastic with providing pictures while you are away to satisfy any worries!
We have used PSRAH for just over a year now and I am exceptionally pleased with their service, attention to detail, and care- every time we use them. Primarily we have had Karen, but sometimes other employees of hers. There is never a difference in care when it’s the employees vs. when it’s Karen. Our dogs are our children and I always feel like they care as much as we do. The notes and pictures are always appreciated and help with the anxiety/sadness of being away from the dogs. We had to move to a hotel due to a fire, Karen came out to see the area and was able to accommodate us as planned pre fire..and then to a new home recently. Karen took the time on short notice to come see our new place so she could accommodate a service for us. I much prefer PSRAH to any other services/companies. I enjoy the reliability, service, peace of mind. The cost of the service is more than fair for the service you receive.
Debbie and crew have watched / walked our dogs for almost 3 years. They are super trust worthy and attentive our dogs needs! The care, love and compassion they provide is above and beyond any dog walking service I have had before! I think the most important part is trust and Debbie provides this through her team! We had a fabulous experience with Debbie and Doug! My dogs really dislike the kennel experience and come home stressed and anxious. Having them stay in their own home under the care of 2 caring experts was so much better. We were away for 7 days and Doug visited 3 times a day. His reports and fabulous photos made me feel at ease and comfortable that my dogs were happy and healthy. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend!
Debbie and Claire were absolutely amazing at caring for my pups while being away for over a week. My one dog is quite timid around strangers, but with their expertise, they knew how to quickly win her over and they were best friends in no time. They sent detailed updates after each visit, making me feel like I was there with them the entire time. They even cared for my birdies and plants! I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Peace, Love, and Petsitting. I highly recommended!
Deb was awesome! In the midst of a move she came and helped me out with my high anxiety dog Chloe. She picked Chloe up and removed her from the house for the day. They played, went for walks and relaxed together. She sent pictures throughout the day to keep me calm. She then brought her home when the moving truck left. I know that if Chloe remained at home it would have been so stressful. Deb was so patient, kind, understanding and full of love for Chloe. I'm so thankful to have found such a trusting pet sitter. Highly recommend!
Debbie is by far the best per sitter I’ve had. I travel a lot and she is always wonderful with my 3 cats and they love her. She is so accommodating and makes it work even when I give very little notice. Highly recommend her for anyone that loves their animals and wants the best care.
