Susie was a great host, making me feel very comfortable and at home. It was easy to feel that way in their home that is so cozy, comfortable and peaceful. The animals are very loving and peaceful too. They both love people and it was a joy to have them around. They are also fun to watch them interact with each other. Naiya will try to tease Kiki into play going nose to nose and doing a little dance and sometimes it would work. You can tell they like each other and take turns sleeping in the same beds. Susie did a great job explaining their temperament, and their needs. That is so helpful for things to go smoothly, which they did. She responded quickly to a question that I had and also had good local support ready if anything was needed. I loved the surroundings, the peace and the quiet. Susie extended the invitation for me to have a friend for the weekend who is also a nature lover. Right at the end of the street is a nice walk through the forest, which we did a few times. I would recommend this sit!
Laure and the girls made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Laure was kind enough to pick us up from the tram stop and lend us her car during our stay so we could explore the beautiful Alsace area. She cooked us a local french dinner and we had a great evening getting to know Laure and her daughters. Frimousse was such a sweetheart and an absolute breeze to look after. She is an independent cat who is out exploring most of the day. In the evenings, she always came inside and would snuggle up on the couch with us. We feel grateful to have had the opportunity to stay with Frimousse at Laure's lovely home and would highly recommend this house sit!
I loved staying with Luna and Ralphie. They are such lovely, funny and intelligent cats. I miss having Luna cuddling up next to me on the sofa or Ralphie brining me a toy, asking me to play with him. Thank you so much Kayla and Sophie for your kindness and for allowing my mum to housesit with me. We had such a wonderful time at your beautiful house and wish you and the cats all the best for the future.
Sitting for Isabelle and the beyond amazing Zeusmann was beyond delightful! To say her home was peaceful is an understatement...she has brought a level of intentional healthy living and woven it through every facet of her home. We loved it! And her attention to providing details and options for us was everything you could ever want in a host. My husband and I were both able to work from her home comfortably without issue (and separately, which was a huge bonus). We enjoyed her backyard space as a place to rest, restore and just soak up the good vibes. I like walking anyway, but walking in such a cute neighborhood with so much to look at and enjoy was an unexpected bonus as well. And there there's Zeus. Oh my gosh, what didn't we love about him? His emotional intelligence was off the charts...soulful isn't a strong enough word. That said, do follow Isabelle's instructions when walking him. As long as I was mindful of when other dogs were around and started to reach for a treat while talking to him - - boom, his attention was on me and we could walk on opposite sides of the street no problem! We pet / house sat for three different members on an extended trip in Austin and this sit was hands down the best one. Frankly, I'm almost afraid to sit again because she and Zeus set the standards so very high :)
I had a wonderful stay at clarisse’s home and Puffington is a real delight! Her home is very homely and has everything you need plus really good shops nearby. Puffy is so much fun, loving and a real character. Make sure you are around enough to give him the attention and long walks he deserves. Wouldn’t hesistate to stay again if offered
