This was my first house and pet sit, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Nicole and Joel are delightful people who live in an amazing gated community in a fantastic house. A wonderful place to stay. And their female dachshund, "Summer" was a cute little thing, who was fun to walk, play with and care for. Just a fantastic two weeks.
The house is located in a very nice neighborhood. Grocery, restaurants, and sports park are nearby. The house is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Phoebe is very cute and also silly sometimes. She has strong legs and can walk fast! Steve's communication was clear and concise. He is a great host!
What a great time we had in Petaluma taking care of Louis & Minnie for Marty & Louise! Louise & Marty are easy to communicate with, friendly, and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with them when we went over the house and the cats, and the information they gave us about the pets, the house, and the area were all helpful and well thought out. They had printed a guide for us that was perfect for a quick reference during our sit. Minnie was shy at first, but after several days of getting used to us, she started to come out of her shell. She would sit in the chair next to me while I was working and was very sweet. Louis is very friendly and was comfortable with us right away, he will let you pick him up with no complaints. Louise & Marty's neighborhood is beautiful & quiet, and Petaluma is a cute town with plenty to do in the area. We recommend this house sit for anyone! -Joseph & Hannah
It was a fantastic sit and the home is so cozy. The neighborhood is beautiful and loved the pools. But Boston and Teddy were both incredible! I actually miss them and their sweetness. If you have a sit opportunity I suggest you say yes! Lindsey is very kind as I actually did a dumb move and left my duffel bag of clothes. Lindsey was understanding and is planning to ship to me! I just had a hard time saying goodbye to Boston and Teddy and I got discombobulated. Thank you Lindsey for the honor and privilege to be your Trusted Housesitter.
Sitting for Dirck and Betsy was fun and easy. They picked me up and dropped me off at the closest el train station. They let me stay the night before and after the sit, and gave me thorough instructions. Millie is a gentle soul. She is great on the leash. She never barked at the many people and dogs we passed. The location is convenient to Lincoln Park and the lake shore. Old Town is picturesque, clean, and safe. I would not hesitate to watch Millie again!
Laura and Jacob’s home is beautiful, homey and so comfortable. Noodles and Marbles were great buddies. They’re friendly and warmed up to us quickly. We had fun going on walks and cuddling!
