Sweetest kitties ever!!! Peanut & Pickle took a bit to warm up and once they let me in, I was in! Hehehhe. Lucy was a great hostess and has a beautiful home thats elegantly decorated. House stayed nice n cool on hot days and it was super warm baking in the sun on her back patio. Her home is also a short scenic drive to my favorite lake (Hayward) so I took in a couple of visits during my stay. Great little reset for sure! Clean quiet comfortable home. Gave Lucy updates to which she appreciated recieving. A 5 star stay for sure! Thank you!
We really enjoyed Sitting for Mary and Bob. They were great and the pets were a treat. Their house is in a great location near Yosemite with lots to see. Lulu is a sweetheart. Fred is also a sweetheart and very social. He loves attention and being brushed and/or petted. Wilma is much more reserved but if you break through she also loves being brushed.
One of my favorite sits in some seven years with THS! From our first conversation, Johnny and Henri were kind and welcoming, and Johnny could not have been a more generous host when I arrived in Sitges. I greatly enjoyed our conversation over dinner, the tour he gave me of the town, and my continuing interactions on WhatsApp with him and with Henri, both of whom were so charming, organized, and helpful! The apartment was impeccably clean, as well as spacious, comfortable, and almost unbelievably well located; I could walk to the beach or anywhere in the town center in mere minutes! But it was Harper who really stole my heart. She is one of the most affectionate cats I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, a gentle soul who wanted only to sit beside me, sleep beside me, and luxuriate in pets and cuddles. It was really difficult to leave her, but I feel so fortunate to have been afforded the opportunity to share two weeks with her in lovely Sitges, and I would love to return in the future!
What an amazing housesit! We arrived at the lovely home of Jason, Lye and their daughter Nami and were made to feel so welcome in Browns Bay. We were asked to look after their two beautiful persian twin cats, Neil and Nile and their lovely home. They prepared a delicious lunch and Jason made homemade bread. Afterwards, Lye was kind enough to drive us around Browns Bay to show us the neighbourhood before they departed for their trip. Their home was extremely comfortable, clean, spacious, with plenty of places to relax in. Neil and Nile, love human company and were never far away from us. They were really, friendly cats, full of character, who were always ready for a cuddle up on the sofa while watching TV, or at the end of the bed at night. We will certainly miss them a lot! The house is situated a 30 minute walk through the park to Browns Bay beach, including amenities such as a leisure centre, tennis courts, numerous cafes and shops. Thank you for a fabulous housesit, where we have made many happy memories. We would be delighted to housesit again, if we were lucky enough to be given the opportunity. Thank you!
I looked after Millie and the cats over a weekend in December and can confirm that this is an easy, pleasant sit. Millie is a very funny, happy and playful dog and she had me in stitches when she was trying to catch a fly, bouncing up and down like a yo-yo and swirling around the house. She is a good walker and there are various green spaces in the neighbourhood. The cats are very independent and only come inside for their meals and occasional cuddles. Road parking spots are easy to find and free of charge. Kate and her young family made me feel very welcome . The home is clean and nice, the bed very comfortable, and everything there is just perfect. I highly recommend this sit and will be happy to come again some day. Thank you!
I had a really beautiful stay at Erin’s home on Vashon! Not to mention her animals are all very sweet, loving little beings! The cats were very cuddly and the dogs love to play outside and play with their toys indoors. It was a beautiful property and I felt very comfortable and at ease in their home. It felt very safe and I felt supported by Erin and their family that lives nearby. They provided me lots of good information and were very communicative with any questions I had. I really enjoyed myself and this is a perfect stay if you are looking for a slower pace and an easy way to spend time in the beautiful nature of the PNW!
