Very nice sit in a beautiful house with entertaining and affectionate cats. It was also beautifully quiet. Fenella was a very welcoming and easy-going pet owner. Electric blankets, deep bath and Netflix much appreciated! The house is close to transport links and a major shopping centre, and if Turkish and Indian food is your thing, there are many good restaurants nearby. Thanks Fenella!
Greg and Katie have been a great host, I had received very clear instructions about everything ,their house is beautiful and very close to public transport and supermarket. The most important thing, their cat, Victor is very charming, friendly and bit crazy. He is not high maintenance as such but he loves to be stroked every now and then. In short, I loved this catsit and I would happily do it again.
Kind and responsive people. Everything is fine, we recommend.🥰❤️
We had a perfect 2 weeks petsitting for Melanie and caring for the sweetest animals ever! Everything was perfect for us; the house, the pets, the area. Possibly the only teeny tiniest issue would be Wifi coverage but Melanie did point that out in her initial advertisement and certainly for us, it wasn't an issue. I work online and connection via my laptop was fine, albeit more patchy with the mobile phone but frankly...who cares when one is in such beautiful surroundings! Melanie left everything beautifully clean, organised and comfortable for us. Correspondence prior to the petsit was great and everything was as Melanie said in her profile (actually much better as the house is bigger than I thought it was from her advert). The Cotswolds is an area that one can never get tired of. We were there over Easter and a couple of the traditional local tourist spots were heaving which prompted me to wake up Roxy ,the staffy, very early before the tourists arrived to explore some of the very nearby areas (Bibury, Cirencester Park, the Amphitheatre to name but a few). Highly recommended as there are some glorious walks to be had in the local area. In addition, Cirencester has lots to offer including great shops and a beautiful church. Melanie's house was comfortable and welcoming and we felt very much at home. However, I've been saving the best until last: Roxy and Poppy! Roxy was the first Staffy that we had cared for and if she is a typical example of the breed, then I want one! She was the most wonderful, entertaining, kind-hearted, intelligent and loving dog and definitely one of our favourites that we've cared for. The only problem is that we were so tempted to run away with her and claim her as our own. I'm not exaggerating....this beautiful dog is something special. Apart from one shopping trip to Cirencester, Roxy was never out of our sight and we didn't want to leave her purely because she was such great company and so easy and loving. Poppy the puss, lives upstairs and was a regular addition in our bed. Melanie did say that having her sleep on our bed was not a necessity but really?....who could say no? She is the sweetest little thing, unassuming and gentle and gives you a tiny tender tap with her paw when she wants her head scratched. A highly recommended petsit! (Written somewhat reluctantly as I already feel jealous of anyone else who takes care of Roxy.....she's stolen our hearts!). Thank you Melanie for entrusting us with your beautiful animals and home and we would love to be invited back.
Thank you for an amazing stay. I had a wonderful time taking care of these guys. They all were an absolute joy to spend time with. Communication with the hosts was great from the get-go. Great host and provided easy clear instructions. Home was comfortable and very well stocked for cooking daily meals and relaxing during my stay. I had a nice time exploring the beautiful area during my stay and would highly recommend if you ever get a chance to house sit here. Thanks again for having me watch your furry friends.
We recently sat for Amanda and Will at their three storey townhouse in Portishead. We would very happily recommend sitting for them, they are a very friendly and sociable couple, who made us feel so welcome in their lovely home and couldn’t do enough to make out stay enjoyable. The house is only a minute’s walk from the Marina at Portishead, with shops, bars and restaurants nearby, and lovely walks along the Bristol Channel shore line. We absolutely fell in love with Patch, he is an amazing little dog with a great character and he loves his walks so much! He’s great fun. Poppy the cat is very sweet, quite reserved, but a real cutie. We’d love to go back again ourselves if the opportunity arose and would thoroughly recommend Amanda and Will as the perfect hosts. Many thanks to them both.
