This was an amazing wonderful sit from beginning to end, Rick & Philippa went out of their way to make us welcome even to the extent of cut flowers in our room. The house is a warm and welcoming family home with a wonderful outside patio and garden. Maggie was a delight friendly & affectionate and let you know when it was time to walk, Wilma was a typical cat extremely affectionate with a lovely purr, but of course only at meal times.
If ever looking for a sit in the Iowa City area I highly recommend Lori’s house. Her and her husband were so welcoming and made us a fabulous vegetarian dinner special for my dietary restrictions. Over the evening we got acquainted with their dog Cody and cat Loki. Also we were given clear instructions on caring for the home, which was straightforward and hassle-free. We loved taking Cody on his sniff adventures around the neighborhood and to a great park-like area across the street. He loves to play ball here or in the backyard. Both him and Loki are love sponges who just liked being around us while we went about our day. Such an easy going sit with very down to earth and caring homeowners!
Cathryn is a superb host. She was easy to communicate with before the trip and left lots of useful information for us on arrival. Beautiful house and lovely pets!
Very much enjoyed sitting for Jerry and Judy! They were welcoming, easy going, detailed in their home instructions / contact information, provided a "Welcome Guide", and easy to communicate with. They have a lovely home right on a golf course in The Villages. I enjoyed sitting in the living area with the huge windows watching the golfers, cranes and listening as the chimes gently blew in the breeze. Bo (Bojangles) and Cheddar are very sweet with beautiful fur coats. They enjoy being brushed and talked to. Bo followed me around and loved to brush up against my legs. No matter where Cheddar was, the second I sat down on the sofa in front of the large TV, he knew it and was on my lap in seconds. They were very easy to care for and get attached to. The Villages is everything I've heard and far more. I visited every town square, watched live bands every night and met the kindest, happiest people. I am grateful to have had this opportunity to cat/house sit for Jerry and Judy, hang out with Bo and Cheddar, and see what The Villages is all about. I would not hesitate to do so again and would highly recommend this sit to others!!!
Luna and Wally were the sweetest kitties ever. They both delight in watching a multitude of singing birds right outside the LR window. The apartment was located in a unique area, was well equipped, and included garage parking. Our stay at Lori's was outstanding!
What a great place to experience! Sophie is the sweetest girl and loves walks and affection. Her mom Tammy has a lovely house, was very accommodating, and explained Sophie’s routine in her house and neighborhood for an easy visit with lots going on nearby. Scenic nature trails just outside, golf cart rides with Sophie, and live music were some of the daily activities. I highly recommend a stay with sweet Sophie in Tammy’s lovely home with lots to enjoy nearby. Cozy home, lots of nature and plenty to do nearby in this planned community that’s like Disney for adults. Lori 😊

Salty Paws has been picking up our Berner, Truman for over a year now. He LOVES his weekly adventures and it is clear the staff loves him. Berners are not dogs that are good with heat, but the staff is very aware of this and very cognizant of days that might be an issue. We have used Salty Paws for overnights both in our own home and at Abbies house and have been very pleased. I assure you, your dog will love his adventures! We can’t wait until our new guy Webster can join the pack :)
Can’t say enough about Abbie and her team of dog lovers that take care of our pups! My dog Logan has been enjoying their services for a few years now. He lives when the Salty pack van shows up! And he comes home happy and exhausted. If your have mom guilt because you work from home and feel terrible that you can’t play with them all day. My three dogs have been going to Salty Paws for just about a year. They love it so much and get so excited when they get picked up. The convenience of having them picked up and taken for the day is key for our family! They come home exhausted and with better manners. Nothing beats it!

Riley has been going on 3 hour adventures weekly for 7 months with Salty Paws and I can’t say enough good things about Abbie and the team. Riley gets much needed play time outside with her Scallywag doggie friends. They go on adventures whether on trails, the beach, or running in the fields. The pack learns basic commands, manners and how to play together in groups. We trust Abbie and her team that Riley is in great hands when in their care🐾🐾
We have been using Salty Paws for 3 years and couldn't be happier with them. They have taught our dog amazing trail manners and these adventures have socialized our Berner so that we can take him anywhere and he knows how to behave with other dogs. They whole crew is fun, respectful and caring towards each dog (I have been out in the same area to see them in action!). Murphy sits by the door waiting for their arrival, it is so cute! Salty Paws is such an amazing service, we are so lucky to have them on the seacoast. I don't have to worry about my schedule and getting our dog to daycare at a certain time-they pick her up, drop her off and give her all the exercise she needs during her excursions... comes home happy and exhausted :) If you have any doubt, just follow them on Instagram to see how much these dogs enjoy the outings and how obedient they are. My dog has been going on a pack romp with Salty Paws weekly for the last 1-2 years. She wishes every day was pack day! Abigail is friendly, professional, and caring. Courtney and Bob are also great. Amy so wonderful with our dog Max and our bird! She’s very responsive and reliable! I feel she cares for my animals like I would. I like that she takes a photo of our animals before she leaves our house so I can see my babies are doing well and let’s me know of any concerns she may have. She is very good and willing to give meds and always makes sure the animals have plenty of food and water. I would highly recommend her!
Amy is a god send. We moved to New England right before Covid began and never developed relationships to cover pet sitting. So I resorted to finding someone online, which was nerve wracking. I was deeply impressed by Amy's professional website, ticking off all my boxes - knows rabbits (we have two house rabbits - ie litter box trained), she's insured, and registered. We've hired her services mutliple times now and she is worth every penny! When my husband and I are away, we constantly talk about what a luxury it is to have a pet sitter we can trust and who is communicative, so we can relax when traveling. I especially appreciate the daily check-ins we get from her to let us know our buns are happy and healthy. I absolutely recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable, responsive, caring pet sitter.
I have a very old yellow Labrador who cannot see well, cannot hear well, and has a degenerative nerve issue that has made walking very difficult. In addition, she wears diapers in the house due to incontinence. I reached out to Amy because I did not feel comfortable leaving my girl for long days when I had to work in my office in MA. Amy would come and give her some love, change her diaper and take her out for a whatever walk she could handle that day. Amy was great helping my old girl with my numerous staircases and later even giving my kitty cat some much needed love during my long days. On one occasion when I had to leave for longer military service and my old dog went to stay with family, Amy came on several days just to make sure my kitty didn't feel so alone. Her prices are affordable and reasonable and her care for my fur babies has been outstanding!
Amy was incredible! I have never left my two cats for any length of time -- however, Amy took such excellent care of them that I was actually able to enjoy my vacation. She sent daily updates with pictures and went above and beyond! One cat requires two daily medicines and she was able to continue his treatment, even though it isn't alway easy to catch him! Our flight was delayed for a day and she was flexible in providing an extra day of care -- not sure what we would have done otherwise! We will definitely be using Amy again in the future! Highly recommend!!!
Amy gets an A+ from my 3 senior cats (who are particular and high-maintenance) & their owner! Amy is reliable & professional, and she always sends an update at each visit. It can be difficult to find a responsible pet sitter, but Amy is excellent. She makes leaving your pets at home less stressful on you & them. Amy has watched my cats several times, and each time I return to home to find happy, healthy cats. I would highly recommend Amy!
We have been using Amy's service for well over a year now. My mother needs assistance with her cats and without fail Amy comes in several times a week rain, snow or shine! We have also travelled a few times and rather than leave the cats in a boarding service Amy would come to the house every other day to check on the cats and spend some time with them. We are very comfortable with giving her access to our home when we are away. I would highly recommend her service.
Amy stepped in on very short notice to care for our multi-dog multi-cat household over a long weekend. The critters are not easy, as some of them are on special diets and others have medications. Amy came four times a day, texting us every time about how they were doing. For the first couple of days, she had questions. It was clear that she wanted to do an excellent job. And she did. She got to know each of the animals, commenting on some of their personality quirks. Not only does she really cares, but her rates are very reasonable. I think the dogs were disappointed to see us return! We will use her every time we go away.
Amy was fantastic with my 2 older dogs!! She took care of them as if they were her own and gave me a piece of mind while I was away!! She sent me updates and pictures and kept me well informed that my babies were doing great! I would highly recommend her to anyone! She is the best! I cannot say enough about Amy. She is an "animal Angel". She has cared for our elderly pets (dog Rosie and cat Wally) at our home during vacations for the past year. During our latest absence from home, Rosie's elderly condition took a drastic downturn. While we were away and could not get back, Amy took her to the emergency vet herself and did everything in her power to make Rosie comfortable. She went above and beyond any expectations we could have asked for. Rosie passed before we could get back, but WE were comforted by Amy's kind words and caring attention to Rosie in her time of need. I was sad that Amy had to experience this on our behalf and will be forever grateful for her! I have never known anyone better than Amy for the care of your beloved pets.
We LOVE Playtime Pet Resort!!! And Moose does too! When we get off the exit, he knows exactly where we are going and the tail doesn’t stop. The staff are so wonderful and take such amazing care of all the pups. And not to mention, they take photos daily and it makes my heart so happy to see our baby having the best day!!! We feel so fortunate to have such wonderful people caring and looking after our pup.
Playtime Pet Resort is a safe, wonderful place for our little pup Nova. She loves it there and we love the staff! Always willing to go the extra mile for us because our schedules are so crazy! Angel and I love Playtime Pet Resort in Salisbury! The staff is wonderful! I love looking at the pictures they post. She always looks so happy to be there. I also love how I can drop her off no appointment necessary. I am retired so I don't bring her on a regular schedule just when I am going to be out for an extended period of time. It makes it so convenient for me. Have not boarded her overnight yet but I will not hesitate if the need arises.

Our dogs go there and they love it. They know exactly where they are going when they’re on their way and get so excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. The facility also has a ton of extras for the dogs (ie bacon bubbles, one on one playtime, and other fun treats). We love taking them, and they come home pooped everytime !!

Really nice place! Dropped our beagle off there before our trip to Europe. The person who greeted us and took our dog in was very nice, and the area is also nice! Lots of room for dogs to run around and have fun :D
Highly recommend Ramson. Our 1 1/2 year old lab stayed here for a week. He was timid at first and took a day or two to adjust. Jill and her team did a great job working with him and he settled right in! Very attentive. Very clean and well organized.
I'm fairly new to boarding my dog. Jill was very accommodating and I was able to easily schedule an off-schedule pickup without worry. Prices are very fair for overnight boarding. I will look to use Ramson Kennel if I have boarding needs in the area again. Only one tiny thing was my dog's favorite toy was not in his bag when we left, but I admittedly didn't check closely. That's on me. :) I can happily recommend Ramson Kennel.

Jill provides excellent care to our two dogs. We have boarded our pups with her three times now and have been impressed every time. While we were traveling, she’s given us updates on how their doing and she even made one of my pups some chicken and rice to settle an upset stomach. Our pup has the best experience at DRL - it’s like being at summer camp! She runs around, goes for hikes, and plays with friends. We also love that she’s not kenneled when she stayed overnight. The owner is lovely & posts lots of pics so you can see what your dog is up to while you’re away!
We’ve brought our dogs on multiple occasions and they come back exhausted and happy as can be. It’s amazing and for such an great price. The staff are knowledgeable and good with our two dogs and make sure to do slow introductions with other dogs. They even send you pictures throughout day of your fur baby having a blast to ease your mind. I highly recommend
We send our 2 dogs there a couple days a week. They absolutely love it and come home completely exhausted. They go on hikes and play all day with many other dogs inside and out. The “home/farm” atmosphere for the pups is so much better than the kennel and small yards that other daycares tend to offer. DRL is highly recommend! ❤️

The staff there is very friendly and welcoming. They know your dog by name and take care of them as if they were their own. The facility is going under a remodel which I’ve seen and it looks really nice adding some nice suits for overnight care and looks like they’re gonna have a groomer as well too, so it can be all one stop this place. This is highly recommended,. If you care about your fur baby.
We have 3 dogs, Mavis, Keeva and Nala! They love to go to “school” and come home exhausted!! They are always happy to go and the older dogs get quite jealous when Nala goes and they don’t! The new renovations are beautiful and we are grateful for the care our pets get! Thank you!!

Playtime had availability for our dog on a very last-minute boarding request during the summer a few years ago, and we've been taking him back for boarding ever since. Our pup was severely abused before we adopted him, so he has some unfavorable history that made boarding difficult. Playtime was incredibly understanding and assured us they had the protocols in place to keep everyone safe, which they absolutely do! Our dog is very comfortable there, and we're so happy he gets to enjoy his time playing vs being in a crate for the majority of the day. We live about 45 mins away from this facility, and while there are other kennels/day cares much closer to us, we will always travel to Playtime - they've gone above and beyond for our pup, and they're 100% worth it.
Our dogs are ALWAYS excited to go play with their friends at Play All Day. The staff is always friendly and seem to really connect with the dogs. I love how they are making improvements to the facilities it’s looking great. Highly recommend.
They have helped me trim my dog's nails, I have bathed my dog there. My dog has special medication for seizures, that they give him when I need to board him. They have given my little boy wonderful care! We have used this location most of his life and I don't think I would feel as secure going anywhere else!!
My puppy has been going to Play All Day since about January. The negative reviews and comments on this place is wild. I’ve never had a problem and Boscoe loves coming to see his friends at daycare. Not all dogs are meant for daycare and socializing with different dogs and I was explained that before I adopted my Boscoe. You can’t control or predict what happens when you put a bunch of dogs together and you accept that risk by enrolling your dog in any daycare. The staff are always excited to greet Boscoe every morning and Boscoe returns that excitement. I’m pretty sure he forgets about me as soon as we enter. I highly recommend this daycare and if you have any questions the staff is more than happy to answer them!
Sunny loves going to Playtime Pet Resort. He perks up when I say, "You're going to school today," starts to bark when we turn into the parking lot and pulls on he leash when we enter the building. Sleeps all day the following day.
Ever since the first day I brought him almost a decade ago, my dog has been ecstatic to bolt through the front door and join the fun. The staff is so friendly, and all the dogs seem so happy to be there. I can’t thank all the staff enough for the wonders it has done for my 10 yr old greyhound. She literally has found the fountain of dog youth. She has lost weight with all the exercise she gets and She just absolutely loves coming here. She was getting older and tired, but now has sprung back to life, almost like a puppy. I cannot say enough great things about Lucky Dog ! My dog Quinn has been going to Lucky Dog for almost two years. From the staff to the owners, any questions that I have had, (and I've had many) from training to food, behavioral changes, or simply just telling me about all the fun my pup had that particular day, they take the time to answer. And not the next day, right then and there. They are friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond. Which is key for me. Not only does Quinn get excited when he knows he's going to Lucky Dog, but I get excited too because I know he's going to have the best little doggy day ever !

I rescued my hound dog just over two months ago from down south. She would incessantly shake and shy away from people and dogs- she had no confidence and no trust in anyone or anything. After coming to Seacoast Lucky Dog Daycare multiple days a week and going through their awesome training program, she is completely unrecognizable; she no longer shakes or retreats from people, she plays so nicely with every dog there and the staff are so encouraging and supportive of her. It is truly amazing to witness such a transformation in such little time and I couldn't be happier. Needless to say, my dog is one LUCKY DOG!
My dog Missy has been going here since she was a puppy and loves it! She gets so excited when she is dropped off. Seacoast Lucky Dog posts pictures on Facebook during the day showing what a great time the dogs are having. The staff is great! Missy comes home exhausted from all the fun she has and sleeps. 😊 I don’t think I’d send her anywhere else.
My dog has been going to Seacoast Lucky Dog Daycare for about three and a half years now. She is so excited to get there half way there she starts singing to me in the car. When we arrive the staff is always so happy to see her and her them. My dog comes home tired and happy. What else could a mom ask for?

If you love your pet, and possibly brink on obsessed/they're the stand in for human children (like our situation!) then you're looking for a daycare that you can trust and that will take care of your baby as well as you, look no further than Lucky Dog. Lucas is a shy dog with BOUNDLESS energy and we found the perfect match in Lucky dog. The staff are kind, and attentive. They gave Lucas the attention he needed to come out of his shell. And every single day Lucas came home so happy (I mean look at that picture!) and even better at times, EXHAUSTED. We moved, and that is the only reason he isn't there anymore and we're heart broken. We searched but couldn't find anything even close to anything as wonderful as them. We love you SC Lucky Dog for everything you do. <3
I love my dogs like they are my children. I never thought I’d find a kennel that met my standards and I could completely trust but I did with Bed and Biscuit. The kennel is a nice size, roomy pens, clean and in a charming, farm setting. The owner and staff love the dogs and welcome them like they are their own. This is the only place I would leave my dogs.

We’ve tried different boarding options in the past and the dogs never seemed happy but I can tell they LOVE it there! And it’s comforting to know they’re in good hands while we’re away!!
I felt comfortable leaving my dog here and felt like she was in good hands. Nice, clean kennel and friendly staff. My dog seemed happy when I picked her up. I would recommend this place and will use them again. Thank you for taking such good care of Soph! :)
We have been using Bed and Biscuit Country Boarding Inn for many years! The owner is fantastic! The place is warm and welcoming. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Simply the best!
Boarded my dog for a long weekend. The owner and people were all very friendly and nice. I had called to check on Harry and received a phone call back to ease my nerves. Harry seemed fine after picking him up . So I am sure he had a great time.
Bed and biscuit is great! Kathy and her team do an amazing job with our 3 year old golden, Goose, whenever we are out of town. He is always super eager to go inside when we get there and I know they give him so much love!!
Wonderful place,my min pin had a great time ...he had never boarded since we rescued him 4 years ago and like typical min pin has anxiety and we thought he didnt like people..we picked up a changed dog,who was relaxed and happy.He loved taking 3 walks a day,and even gave Kathy a kiss the night before we came home...he has never kissed anyone else! I think he would highly recommend staying here...woof 🐾

Our experience with Diane (Pets and Petals) has been absolutely wonderful! Finding her has expanded our ability to travel more often with unfettered peace-of-mind that both our cat and home were safe and well-cared for. Diane is the "real deal", and provides genuine care of our spoiled cat and provides such a valuable service that is hard to put a value on. She is detailed, responsible, sensitive and thorough ... she not only feeds our cat but pets, brushes, and plays games with her too! Diane always texts us when she makes her first visit to the house and often sends a picture of our cat to relieve any anxiousness that we might have in not being there, and she leaves us a detailed written summary (“kitty report card”) of her visits along with the activities she has shared with our cherished pet. After Diane's visits, when we return home after being away for a few days, we actually wonder if our cat is sad to see us at the door, since she had so much fun with Diane! Diane is the best!!
Having Diane visit my cats while I'm away means never having to worry about them. She knows what pet owners need to know when they are gone, and keeps in touch with texts and photos daily. There is never a doubt that DIane will show up, or that the cats will not be given attention and love. I have two antisocial, xenophobic cats who hide the minute the doorbell rings or a stranger enters--except for Diane. They wait at the door for her! It's uncanny.
I’ve been bringing my dog here for daycare twice a week for almost a year. She absolutely loves going and she adores the staff - the dogs are well cared for and we have never had a single issue here. I’ve heard horror stories about dogs getting bitten/hurt at other daycares in the area and that is not the case at coastal canine! Can’t recommend this place enough - Sada, Corey and all the staff there are so friendly and you can tell how much they all care about all the dogs. ❤️
We absolutely adore the Coastal Canine staff and manager, Corey. Our dog is so happy to go to Coastal and spend time with his "school" family. One staff member truly shines, Sada. Sada is an absolute gem! When my dog walks through the door and sees her, I no longer exist! Sada always has a bright smile, is warm and welcoming, and has the uncanny ability to remember every dog's name and who their human is. I cannot say enough nice things about Sada at North Hampton's Coastal Canine Resort. Until her presence there, my pup Roxie would have a hard time going in - once she realized I wasn't coming with her she would pull and put up a fight. A full year of that, and then Sada comes in and I don't know what kind of magic she possesses, but Roxie JOYFULLY goes with her back to the other dogs. She greets everyone with a smile and I just wanted to take a moment to let them know what a gem they have!
We found Coastal Canine Resort first for doggy daycare to give our pup time with other dogs and burn off some energy. We were so comfortable we left her for an overnight. Sada and the rest of the staff are professional , responsive and kind. The place is clean and Poppy is always excited to get there! Thanks.
This 5 star review is based on the staff I have met. Some of the loveliest people work here and Sada, who has assisted us in every way possible is a standout. So kind, so energetic, so positive and so skilled with pups. She brings her A game every single day. Very thankful to her and the team. They helped us out hugely with our energetic GSP puppy- life savers. Also, CCR have a great website for booking daycare and boarding- very intuitive and easy. Customer service overall is topnotch!!!
Recently boarded my dog there for the first time. The facility is clean and the staff was great with my pup. They had great communication and took excellent care of him. I would highly recommend for boarding and doggy day care in the Hampton area. We will be returning in the future. Thanks to the owner and staff!
We were passing through on vacation (August 2019) and called ahead a few days to book a spot for our dog. All good. Drop off no problem. Picked our dog up the next morning and found cuts, abrasions, blood, and an injured front leg (whined when touched) when we got back to our place. Immediately called to inquire about the stay and was met with general no way that could have happened on our watch, not possible, dogs are constantly monitored, etc., from the owner. Sent photos of the injuries shortly after the call and my wife followed up and got the same rude and dismissive owner...no way that could have happened here. Our dog was fine when we dropped her off so our main question was if we should see a vet because of a fight, or had the dogs just played rough and ours was on the receiving end. We’re up that way relatively often. Won’t ever visit this place again.
We always feel good about leaving our dog with Coastal Canine. Their staff is warm and professional. Sada is especially helpful with customer service.
It is very clean. The staff treats my pup kindly and he loves going. He has stayed over numerous times and we use the day care at least 2 times a week. I have a young goldenretriever who needs extra exercise.
Magnum loves his time with the team at Coastal Canine Resort! He always comes home exhausted!! I enjoy the convenience of their hours and the team is friendly and love dogs. I feel confident that he is in great hands when he stays overnight with CCR.
