Scott was easy to communicate with. The cat warms up to you very quickly and loves to cuddle, Baby the dog is an old Lady but she still loves to walk and sniff outdoors. The animals are easy to take care of and there is access to a swimming pool a gym and a sauna. Thanks for having me Scott!
This was an amazing experience to house sit for Ron at his beautiful home in horse and bourbon country of Kentucky. Sophie, his dog, is the ultimate lab who loves to be by your side and very laid back in nature. The cats are very compatible and loving wanting to hang out with you when you're in the home. The home and property is gorgeous for anyone who wants a time away of quietness and rest in a 5 star bed and breakfast, yet close enough to stores for anything a person may need. Ron and his wife were wonderful in their hospitality as I arrived a week before they were departing for their travels. I would welcome to chance to house/pet sit for them again in the future.
Helen and Geoff are a friendly, welcoming and appreciative couple who live in a neatly presented home in a quiet and safe location. Communication was excellent from them at all times. Their black Labrador, Ivy, very much enjoys human company and is an inside/outside dog. Being a Labrador, she sheds a lot of fur so daily vacuuming is necessary. We walked twice daily and she's excellent on her lead and submissive when meeting other dogs. This was an enjoyable sit with a great companion in Ivy.
This was a truly incredible sit! Sacramento now has a special place in my heart. Jan and Chris are absolutely fabulous, lovely couple, and such warm and generous hosts. They have an impressive and beautiful house in a gorgeous neighborhood, and their garden and everything that grows in it are to die for. They welcomed me to their house with an amazing dinner the night before my sit and showed me how everything works in and around the house, to make sure that I had the best time there. And I did have a fabulous time while watching their three adorable fur babies. What a serene place to work on my business and do some writing. I loved waking up to the view of the garden and listening to the sounds of the fountain outside. And it was so fun to have the two playful pups and a sweet kitty around. Jack Riley and Lucille the doggies and Kitten, their feline sister, are very affectionate creatures. They would happily participate in watering veggie beds in the garden and would even join me for my morning meditation on the lawn. Jan was so sweet to meet me at the airport when I arrived and drove me back to the airport when I was leaving. She is such a wonderful lady and made me feel so comfortable at their home. And Chris was incredible in helping me navigate their awesome home gadgets. Jan and Chris even helped me rearrange my luggage before I left, to make sure I didn’t have to overpay at the airport! Aren’t they amazing?? I can’t recommend this sit enough. Sacramento is lovely. But meeting Jan and Chris and spending some time getting to know them was the best part.
Mandi made me feel like I was home from the moment I walked through the door. She was always super easy to communicate with and really relaxed about everything in the flat. I spent a few nights there before and after she actually traveled and we had lots of great chats about life. Pixie is quite low maintenance, an adorable elderly lady that just wants her 3 meals a day and lots of tranquility. Sometimes she'll feel like a (very short) walk, and sometimes she won't, so it's really all about her feeds and giving her some love and company. Their home is in an amazing location, quite centrally located and in a very vibrant area. The flat has everything that you will need. I can't recommend enough sitting for Mandi and Pixie. I returned for another sit and would return many more times :)
She was lovely and kind. The dogs were a lot energy wise, but really great cuddlers! I wish them the best, as I am home now in the states.
