This was Stephanie’s second time sitting for Hannah and Henry and these two shy kitties clearly remembered her and are very comfortable having her visit. Henry is a little less shy and cozies right up to her! It is so reassuring to leave them in such great hands!
Laurie did a fabulous job with our standard poodle puppy. Tons of walks and attention, as well as photos and updates daily. Highly recommend her.
This was a fantastic sit all around! Carolyn and Patrick were great hosts, very warm and welcoming. They left clear, detailed instructions on how to care for the home and cats, along with suggestions for local sights and restaurants, and also quickly responded to texts when I had questions. Sierra Vista had all the conveniences you'd need plus some beautiful hiking and biking areas close by. The home was in a very quiet neighborhood and was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a fully-stocked kitchen, comfy bed and sofa, and a private, peaceful back yard. Great place to enjoy a morning coffee while watching the cats roam around enjoying some outside time. Lots of cool birds showed up at the feeders too As for the stars of the house, I fell in love with these two! Li'l Bit (Cassidy) was a little shy at first but before long was requesting pats and would come sit on my lap and purr. She was the sweetest little love bug. Butch was laid back and mellow and would curl up on the couch with me to read or watch TV. They really grew on me and I had a hard time leaving them! Thanks for the opportunity, Patrick and Carolyn. I'd definitely recommend this sit and would love to do it again
We had a wonderful week looking after the adorable Fizz and Rocket! Vicky and Andrew’s home is so gorgeous that it was a real treat to stay there. We all met for dinner the night before Vicky and Andrew left, which made the handover super smooth. The dogs were great - Fizz is a little darling - he’s obsessed with his ball and just the snuggliest guy. Rocket is a loveable menace - stealer of socks and hearts! We loved them both, and it was a real wrench to leave them behind. The area around the house is great for walks/runs. There are some lovely villages nearby, as well as a walkable pub (with a decent Sunday roast) and a good sized town a short drive away. Vicky and Andrew communicated well and even left us a delicious bottle of wine in the fridge. All in all we had a lovely, peaceful and snuggle-filled week and would love to come back!
Bear and Buster stole our hearts. We loved Buster's cuddles and Bear's sweet nature. Michele and Steve's house is beautiful and so well located by the coast. We loved taking the boys for walks along the beach every day. There are plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance too. Steve and Michele were great at communicating and providing any support we needed while they were away. We would go back to look after these two beautiful boys in a heartbeat!
10/10 would go again! This was by far my favorite place to have visited. There are so many positives and I do not want to spoil all the surprises :) Karen is such a nice and accomodating host with friendly and easy to care for pets. Addy was shy at first but warmed up after the first day. Marilyn wanted to be showered with love from the moment I walked in the door. The pets were easy to care for and never gave any trouble. The home is located in a safe and walkable area of Toronto with easy access to public transport for traveling anywhere in the city. I used the bus and train daily to get around with little trouble. The ride prices are a few dollars so $20 lasted me the entire stay duration. I recommend this opportunity to anyone who wants to explore Toronto while staying in a quiet neighborhood with kind and loving pets that love being loved!
I had the most amazing sit at Heather's place with sweet Dougie. Heather is an incredibly welcoming, helpful, and generous person. She also picked me up at the airport, which I highly appreciated. I loved my sit; I had everything I needed and much more. Dougie is a super easy and well-behaved dog, and also incredibly sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing Heather and Dougie again soon. I would 100% recommend a sit!
