I had great pleasure in looking after Mable and Arthur for three weeks. Mable was a bit skeptical at first, but warmed to me very soon and requested grooming and stroking sessions by tapping my legs with her paw. Arthur loved me as soon as he realised that I was the new tin opener. He very much reminded me of the very hungry caterpillar as he could have eaten all day long without stopping once. It was fun outwitting him a little to make sure that he didn’t steal Mable’s food. They are both very lovable furry companions. Rachel had prepared a detailed welcome guide and shared further information after my arrival so I had no difficulties at all in settling into the new routine. She was very organised which made it all the easier to get to know the ropes. Her apartment is ideally located for MRT and bus and there are some supermarkets and restaurants and a small hawker centre nearby. I had a wonderful time at Rachel’s and would love to return and renew my acquaintance with Mable and Arthur (and Rachel, of course 😉).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay looking after Poppy and Daisy in Gillian’s lovely home. The dogs soon became used to us and we had some lovely walks with Daisy loving running for her ball and returning it for another throw. Poppy was happy just pottering about sniffing. Lyme Regis is a beautiful location to explore. Gillian left very detailed notes which were most useful. We would definitely recommend this sit.
Zürich is such a beautiful city, especially when you have Tory, Ezre and their furry gang of followers to host you. From the very beginning, Tory was very charming, informative and communicative. The house was completely spotless upon our arrival and Tory's guide couldn't have been easier to follow. And the view both from the house and the park above are absolutely breathtaking. The cats themselves had all very unique personalities which made our stay that much more fun and stimulating. Of course we had our favorite but we won't tell. Just find out for yourself and don't pass up the opportunity!
I cannot recommend this sit highly enough. Deborah is a really wonderful person, and very generous with her home. The cats are sweet and very easy to manage. This lovely home and garden were just an absolute oasis and driving instructions are perfect. Just follow them :). I hope I get the opportunity to sit for Deborah again. She was so easy to speak with, very accommodating and kind. Again, the cats were great. A perfect sit.
This was a lovely sit, in a very comfortable home in a fabulous part of England - not least with a super Jack Russell who has plenty of character. Chantal and Charles are great, relaxed hosts; they made me very welcome and left very clear - and simple - instructions. Scrumpy - a.k.a. "Dubs" and "Madame" - is definitely her own person, being very independent while also demonstrating excellent training, socialising and very good recall. She is great company and we enjoyed various local walks in England's horse-racing country, as well as to the beach and along the Cheddar Gorge. I would love to sit for Chantal, Charles and Scrumpy in future and recommend this sit to all sitters. Very straightforward and enjoyable - thanks again.
