We were "enchanted" with our stay in Santa Fe. Megan and Will are delightful people, and they did everything to make sure that our stay in their wonderful adobe home was enjoyable. They were very responsive and attentive whenever we had questions. And the girls, Silkie and Cinnamon, filled our days and nights with laughter and warmth, and couldn't be easier and more enjoyable to care for. Megan and Will's home is nestled nicely amid the junipers and pinons of Santa Fe, and the style and comfort of their home was perfect. With the galleries of Canyon Road, The Plaza area, and all that Santa Fe has to offer a short driving distance away, we couldn't have asked for more. Between their home, the cats, the stunning skies, and the natural wonders of northern New Mexico, we truly found ourselves in the "Land of Enchantment."
Really enjoyed my stay at Charlie’s home with Chandler! Charlie welcomed me the night before the sit began and we had a great chat and dinner together before she left in the morning. Chandler is a sweetheart, she is very independent, curious and sometimes if you’re lying down she’ll come and sit on your tummy and purr. She loves her treats especially the liquid ones she can lick. I’m going to miss her so much! The place Shelford is nearby Cambridge, it’s a small town which is green and friendly. There’s a couple of grocery shops, some restaurants and a Boots pharmacy about 10 minutes walk from the house which was great. Cara’s coffee was a nice place to have lunch. Shelford Delicatessen has great ready to eat food, candles, homeware and beautiful notebooks. There’s also a park nearby and Blossom Health and Beauty where I got a great manicure. In terms of getting to Cambridge the nearest bus stop is 5 minutes away walking and it takes about 25 mins to get to the centre of Cambridge. Otherwise you can get the train and it only takes 10 minutes but the trains going from Cambridge to Shelford and vice versa are not very frequent.
Our 6 days sit for Carina & Leo in Cascais was delightful. The house is very comfortable and well located, within a few minutes walk you will find different restaurants and ideal trails for the dogs in the woods. The Guincho beach and the sand dunes are also within walking distance. Mojo and Moon are very lovable and entertaining! Their daily routine is straightforward, we enjoyed two long walks in the morning and the evening, the playtime in-between in the garden, etc.. Both dogs are extremely friendly and easy to look after. Hoping to return sometime and definitely recommend this sit to others.
A beautiful home tucked between forest and lake. Amarok is a sweet, shy dog who enjoys his walks and napping. The chickens are chatty and provided eggs several of the days during my sit. Quick response and easy communication with Kassi. Lovely experience and would housesit again!

We would definitely recommend Roz and James for a lovely sit. They are very organised, communicating well beforehand and left a comprehensive booklet with all the information we needed. They were incredibly welcoming and invited us for a lovely supper the night before as they were leaving early the next morning. Benjy is an absolute pleasure to look after and is so well-behaved, both in the house and on walks. He even has a dog-flap so can let himself out during the night if he needs a comfort break. Roz and Jim's have a beautiful home which is in a wonderful part of the country with super walks right from their door. The views across the Downs from the house are amazing and we found it very relaxing to stay there. If you do get an opportunity to look after Benjy for Roz and James, don't hesitate, we really had a lovely time.
