We highly recommend this sit; an absolutely lovely, peaceful location with fantastic views and a very loving, well-behaved Kouma. Great on and off the lead, he is also a joy to take out in the car; we loved him! Sometimes Kouma gets a bit anxious and barks when you leave him in the garden, but Christine and Thomas are investing a lot of time improving this behaviour.  The house is hidden 0.5 km down a forest track and is well located for visiting the many interesting sites in the Dordogne Valley. We enjoyed a lot of (uphill) cycling and walking in the area, took full advantage of the yoga room, were memorised by the beautiful koi carp and enjoyed the wild orchids in their extensive garden. Christine and Thomas were very welcoming and provided thorough instructions about the watering system and house. We were very grateful for a lovely home-cooked meal too   . We wouldn't hesitate to return to take care of Kouma and stay in the beautiful River House.
We had a great stay in Angie & Mike's beautiful old Cotswold character house situated in a small village. Great location for sightseeing around the stunning area. Willow was a delight to look after and very well behaved. We will miss our walks with her.
We loved this sit in Baltimore - what a great place! So many interesting and fun things to do. And Jackson and Grizz such gentle company. They love their food and know exactly when itâs due - it doesnât stay long in the bowl! Grizz is the most sociable of the two and is never far away - if youâre in the bathroom he loves to drink from the tap which looks so sweet! Jackson is a little more self sufficient but was willing to accept a bit of attention occasionally, and rewarded us with a delicious purr! Roz and Chris were welcoming and helpful, from the video call through to the house-sit, they were never far away if we had a question. Roz showed us around the house and gave us a comprehensive introduction. She also gave us lots of reccommendations on what to do while we were there - including an excellent one for a birthday dinner. A very enjoyable experience - thank you for asking us.
The hosts are welcoming and maintain their home well. They have a great sense of humor and are easygoing. Peggy, their cat, is also easy to care for. Although she may seem unfriendly at first (it's best not to attempt to pet her immediately), she has a humorous side and exhibits typical cat behaviors, like her regular morning runs and joining you for a nap afterwards. We recommend this sit!
Looking after Samson was an absolute blast! đž Samson, the cutest cat ever, made every moment special and left me with the sweetest memories. Eva's warm welcome and unwavering support added to the overall enjoyment of my experience in Oxford city.
Wow what a fabulous pet sit, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Isabel and Stuart were brilliant with their communication before and during our pet sit. We arrived the night before our sit and were welcomed by Isabel and Stuart who could not have been more friendly and helpful, explaining everything we needed to know about their home and pets. Isabel and Stuart made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their beautiful home before they left for holiday. Pippin is just so adorable, he is well behaved, never venturing far from us on walks. Pippin is also great in the car, good with other people and dogs and easy going . It was really funny to see Pippin trying to carry a piece of wood in his mouth that was bigger than him. When back home he loved nothing more than cuddling up with us and being chatted to. At the beginning of the sit we would give Macbeth and Arya a stroke when they passed us or when they were snuggled up in their baskets but we were overjoyed when they started coming into the lounge for cuddles with us. Both Macbeth and Arya are very easy to care for and their own individual personalities shown through during our stay. However, nothing could beat the morning walks with all 3 pets, this was truly amazing. All 3 pets would walk down the road and across the field by our sides. There are so many walks for pippin just 15mins drive away. We managed a different main/longer walk every day, some just 3mins drive away. We saved the walks on the doorstep for other times of the day. We would like to thank Isabel and Stuart for trusting us to care for their precious pets and beautiful home. (Also, thank you for the lovely gifts). Hope to see you all again in the future
