I an very grateful that I met this kind couple and their sweet dog. They are very welcoming, and attentive. Bernie and her husband made sure I will have a great time in their beautiful home, and that I have all the information I need to take good care of Tamara. Tamara was a wonderful company during my stay. She has an adorable personality: funny, kind, well behaved. She is like a sweet tornado of love. I genuinely enjoyed my stay, and would come back any time… Highly recommend them, if you’re planning to sit in Ireland.
What a beautiful sit!! Jennifer was so welcoming and sweet from the moment we met. She was great at letting us know what was to be expected for the sit and was very generous along the way! Her dog Piper is such a unique and devoted companion. You can immediately sense that she has a deeper soul and awareness than your average dog.. As a Border Collie/Australian Sheperd mix, she is caring and attentive in nature. Staring at you with her sweet eyes, as she often does, will make you feel as if she is watching after you, and not the other way around. Truly a loving and special dog. And Kitten was no less special. Kitten would spend hours just resting upon us or nearby, with a couple playful nibbles here and there as cats do to let you know they trust you. And all of this in the most serene of places. The house is tucked away in the rolling hills, immersed in the sound of hummingbirds and songbirds and accented by the rustling of graceful chimes. The morning routine of feeding the chickens was rewarded by fresh laid eggs warm to the touch. We couldn't recommend this stay enough!! Jennifer was such a gracious and warm host who we can't thank enough for trusting us with her special Piper and Kitten
We absolutely loved spending time with these cats! They are the perfect combination of social and independent, each with their own fun personality. They kept us laughing the entire 3 1/2 weeks we were there. Some of the highlights included fearless Lunabear chasing a deer down the road, sweet Peaches trying to catch her tail and daredevil Tigerlily performing acrobatics on the deck railings. Other activities included ambushing your sister and chasing her up a tree, taking turns attacking the tennis ball, and if we were worthy, some evening lap/cuddle time. They are all super sweet and well behaved. Todd and Heidi are great too. They provided thorough written instructions, gave us a complete walk-through on our arrival day and were very communicative throughout our stay. Heidi even put me in touch with some local practitioners as I was nursing a bad shoulder. Their home is lovely too…colorful, comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect, a few minutes drive to the village shops/restaurants, surfing and paddling. Walking and mountain biking trails were accessible right from the house. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Everything was wonderful and we hope to return in the future. We highly recommend this sit!
Richard and Pavel, and their amazing Fur family had been an absolute pleasure to stay with and look after! They have an absolutely beautiful home which is extraordinary well located with a few minutes walk to anything you could need. Not to mention, their boys! Rogue, Chilli and Ginger are easily one of the most easy going, friendly and loving little ones I’ve looked after to date. It’s easily to say that Rogue is really well behaved and trained and with the combination of Chilli and Ginger they really are the goofiest and most loving family. Richard and Pavel really are amazing hosts and I could not recommend them enough - I hope to stay in contact and have the pleasure to look after their family again!
