Jim and Keith housesat for us for two weeks this month. We have a very active 15-month-old golden retriever and a large yard that requires watering. They arrrived from Colorado the day prior to our departure so my husband could go over all the information they needed about the dog and house. Really, really nice guys. Our dog was spoiled by their long walks, day hikes and daily adventures. We came home to a clean house, thriving plants and, most importantly, a happy, playful dog. Coming home to a happy dog and a clean in tidy house is just perfect. Naomi was extremely self sufficient and the communication was excellent throughout our engagement Naomi did not have the best of weather in Melksham but Sox was walked and well looked after as was our garden stuff that suffered in the high winds. We had the pleasure of taking care of scully and pacer, both dogs were easygoing and simple to take care of, we warmed to them immediately. Scully is what we have now termed as a “Velcro’s” dog, as she always loves to be by your sides, she is extremely affectionate but doesn’t do well with not being by with you in a room. The house was lovely and clean, we had our own room in the basement which allowed us our own space. Lori even left us some bits to eat which was much appreciated. A fabulous stay, and would take care of this pair again in future ☺️
