A lovely one night house sit. Daryl made me feel very welcome and made sure that I had everything I needed. Great communication throughout. He has a lovely home and a very cute cat. Narla was a bit nervous but nothing too serious. Thanks Daryl for a lovely stay.
Looking after Möppi was a dream - he's a friendly, outgoing cat, and very easy to care for. Judith is lovely, and communication was easy and straightforward. I'd sit for Möppi again in a heartbeat.
Guy is incredibly warm and welcoming - you will hardly be able to find a nicer, more positive guy. His hospitality is extraordinary and he and his partner made sure to provide us with everything we could wish for. Best Bacon we ever had :) The house felt cozy and had some magic about it that granted us the most peaceful, dreamless nights. Lyme Regis itself is cute and enjoyable as well and offers great walking opportunities. The cats were amazing, uncomplicated companions. Streaky is very open and affectionate. She loves to cuddle up near you (or on you) whenever you lie down. Smokey is shy at first, but it‘s a joy to see her open up with time. Once she develops some trust she enjoys to be stroked as well. We can highly and happily recommend this housesit!
It was a pleasure to meet Alison and Bob just hours before they left on their trip. They're a delightful couple, and well organized for sitters to look after their home and Kit-Cat. This was a special time for us, as we surprised our son for his birthday, and had a few dinners with his friends. We've done almost 30 sits, and Kit-Cat is the most loving cat we've met. He loved to snuggle beside us, or sit mostly on us while we watched TV. He'd purr right away, and then he almost was talking lightly in his sleep as he would toss and make sure he was either partly on us, or stretched and yawned to land his paws on top of us. Simply adorable. Their home was lovely, clean and comfortable, and there was lots of closed and fridge space, which we greatly appreciated for a two week sit. As remote workers, the desk space is large, and Alison kindly let Kim hook up to her two monitors. The house is in a quiet residential area of SW Vancouver, so a car is helpful to get around or for grocery shopping. Alison was quick to answer questions by text if we needed to clarify anything We highly recommend sitting for Kit-Cat, Alison and Bob, that is if we don't head back to Vancouver to see this great family again. Have a great summer! Kim and Gary
Onyx is such a lovely dog. We had a great time looking after him. He's a gentle giant who loves to cuddle. Ashley was very communicative and welcoming. The house was well appointed with a sunny back garden and it was in a fun neighborhood.
Sitting the girls was great! They are both very loving and kind. Taking them on walks was a little challenging, as they both pull on the leash, but whenever I stopped to take a break, they would stop too. On top of that, there is an opportunity to let them play in the garden, which helps a lot if you don't feel like taking them out on a walk. Ana was super responsive and easy to communicate with! Overall if you are looking to sit to amazing, cuddly and kind dogs, I would highly recommend this sit.
