Pheebs and Frank are glorious. We adore them! Despite having been an English teacher, I can’t find the exact words to describe their sweetness, their pure innocence and trust, their affectionate nature and how welcoming and loving they are. When we first arrived, we couldn’t find Pheebs and Frank and when we did and introduced ourselves, they remained hidden for a while longer then came out, with curiosity, to check us out. Six hours later we got to stroke them. After that it was cuddles and affection. These two are so lovable. Qki and Jordan were great from the start. We were all laughing together from the video call. They were both welcoming, all communication was clear and we enjoyed our daily updates with them. They are a lovely, warm couple. Their beautiful home is in a quiet, peaceful location and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more. To say we loved this sit is an understatement. We highly recommend sitting for Qki and Jordan and look forward to going back when our timings match.
As previous housesitters have said, sitting for Leslie and Jerry is great. They are funny, interesting and generous. Their animals are all sweet, each with his or hers own personality. The neighbours are equally wonderful. Before they left, Leslie thoroughly covered everything we needed to know about caring for Tessa and Praline and left us a checklist to ensure that we didn’t forget any of the steps in their care. While they were away, she was available to answer any further questions we had. She even provided ‘donkey’ clothes that we could put on over our own to keep them clean while we did our farm chores. We’d highly recommend sitting for Leslie and Jerry.
I had the best time watching Sheryl & Grant's two sweet kitties, Koda and Kali. Koda was such a cuddle bug and a playful kitten, and Kali always was around to keep us company and watch over her little brother :). Sheryl and Grant were very communicative and made sure I had everything I needed during my time, including leaving me some great local recommendations and even some local restaurant coupons - such a sweet gesture! I couldn't recommend this opportunity more. Thanks Sheryl & Grant!
Staying at Mary and Jamie's adorable Craftsman cottage was a true retreat. It was great fun to have supper with them, then take a little tour of Poppy's favorite walking spots by the sea. The house is replete with beautiful gardens on all sides of the home and a hot tub on the back deck. Dear Poppy was so very sweet and well behaved. She is the embodiment of love , enjoys walks, sleeping, and interacting with other dogs. She is happy to keep you company at outdoor cafes. I highly recommend a visit to Mary, Jamie and Poppy's very special abode!
Georgina and John were super accommodating, they made me feel extremely welcome in their lovely, cosy home. The area is fab with loads of lovely restaurants, cafes and their shop too! Sweetpea and Lentil were adorable and so easy to look after, Sweetpea is very affectionate and she loves snuggling up on your lap and lentil loves to play. I am really going to miss looking after them and coming home to them each day! Thanks again, I had a lovely stay x
We had an amazing stay at Hazel and Drew’s! They are so nice and made us feel very at home. We arrived to early and could stay an extra day. Then the whole Corona situation happened and we could stay longer to figure everything out. The house is just amazing. Very relaxed and a beautiful garden with lots of fresh fruit we could take. The animals are just amazing. Very lazy and very sweet! Just great!
