A great sit! Excellent instructions to look after five cats. Comfortable accommodation and close to amenities.
We both enjoyed out time with Duke, Mocha and Thorn. They are a pretty mellow bunch and very affectionate. Was great to meet Michele and Willy also. It feels like we've made two new friends.
I had a wonderful time tucked away in the woods with plenty of space to throw the ball for Ruby and for Jack to roam freely. It was easy to connect with Erin whenever I had any questions. Would definitely recommend anyone for this sit that is looking for the some fetch time and affection from Ruby and kitty snuggles with Jack!
Mister is a really easy going dog and Conejo is super nice. The apartment is really comfortable, surrounded by nature and a great connection to Gracia. I had an amazing stay!
Buddy by name, buddy by nature! Buddy really is a cool cat and I very much enjoyed my week looking after him - he’s great company! He is super cute - especially when curled up at the end of the bed at night. Rob & Jo gave a great handover and their home is super comfortable and very well equipped (the large remote controlled fireplace in the lounge was a nice bonus). I was very familiar with the location, having lived just down the road prior to my housesitting days, so already knew I’d like the area. Overall, I really can’t recommend this sit enough, and hope I get to come and hang out with Buddy again in the future.
We really enjoyed our few weeks in Witham-on-the-Hill with Wilbur and Purdy. John & Julia made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and were great at communicating whilst away. Their house is super comfy, modern and spacious. Set in a small and friendly village with great walks straight from the door into maise fields and woodland - bliss! Bourne is only a short drive away for all the supplies you would need. Wilbur & Purdy were great company! Wilbur is a gentle giant and quite a character. He was very easy to care for and loved his daily walks. He was sometimes reactive with other dogs on walks (which we were prepared for) but the rural location meant we rarely encountered any. Purdy is such a sassy little kitty who loved snuggling up with us on the sofa. The chickens were very entertaining, always at the front door when we opened it and delivered us eggs daily which we very much enjoyed. Thank you John & Julia, we hope to see you all again!
