What a peaceful and enjoyable sit this was in Wamboin near Bungendore. Annie and Chris made us welcome to their well appointed home and cooked us a lovely roast lamb dinner. Bear was good company and no trouble at all. There was a vacant 20 acre block next door so we had plenty of nice morning walks and Bear loved chasing his tennis balls. George the Cat slept most of the time but liked his cuddles and being brushed. A big raging fire was cosey on those cold nights. We had ample time to explore the area. We would recommend this house sit to anyone. Thanks for the opportunity.
Janice and Dave are Fantastic; their home and property are paradise and the cats are friendly, affectionate, entertaining and enjoy a good cuddle. We loved our time there and were sad to leave and would definitely jump at the opportunity to return. Janice and Dave were great hosts with many suggestions of how to enjoy the area. We arrived the night before and they drove us around to familiarize us with the area. We also stayed the night they arrived home and we really enjoyed getting to know them on these 2 evenings and hope to see them again in the future. Their home is close to everything (within a 15 minute drive) such as beaches, restaurants and shopping. We found it hard to get motivated to leave their home though as it is a piece of heaven. The surrounding views, the quiet, the outside areas and of course the pool. We were able pull ourselves away though. We found Cartegena was only a short interesting drive away with some cool historic places. For us, the closeby hike that follows the sea and takes you to some amazing beaches and hilltop views was our most favourite. Last but definitely not least, the cats. They are low maintenance but are such great company. They will hang out with you at the pool or wherever you go and love a good pet. Many times I’d be lying on a lounge by the pool and would realize I had a little buddy underneath that would be happy to reach out if I hung my arm down. If you get the opportunity to sit for Janice and Dave, you should jump at it. We can’t thank them enough for the opportunity.
Camilla and her family are friendly, open, welcoming people. We felt right at home from the moment we got there. They were very informative on everything that was needed to stay at the house and look after the lovely Jessie. Jessie is a very loving and gentle girl. When taking her for walks we were able to stop for coffee or a meal at the local pub and bring her along no problems. She is very well behaved around other dogs and obviously loves people, so is always happy to come along for the ride and have a pat. Camilla's house is close to the beach so perfect for those looking for a beach escape and most places are walkable. Also nice and close to public transport so getting around without a car was a breeze. Loved our stay and would pet sit Jessie again in a heartbeat!
Where to start? I loved this sit! It was dreamy! - Wonderful neighbourhood with so many great options for walks, both through the quiet streets or through nature! - GORGEOUS doggos! I have never met more affectionate and loving pooches. I just adored Willow and Seneca who are so fun, so well behaved, so funny and quirky and entertaining, and so loving! - Very accessible! Close to grocery stores, the airport, fun coffee shops and other cool stores/bakeries/bookshops/cinemas, the farmer's market, Seward Park, Lake Washington and views of Mt Ranier! - Large, lovely and spacious home, everything you need to be comfy and cosy and feel welcome! (Including a wicked veggie garden!) -Ashley is so lovely! When her trip got cut short, she was very flexible and allowed me to stay the original dates anyway, opening her home to me for two nights while she was there. She was such a kind, fun, funny, generous host. Thank you Willow, Seneca and Ashley! See you again soon <3
What a sweet pitty girl! The place was great, neighborhood was beautiful, Maddie was readily available, but honestly the pup is the highlight. Bella was a total snuggle pup, amazing positive temperament. I won’t forget her big happy-to-see-us smile!
I miss Moo. Nao responded to my questions and messages quickly. I enjoyed my time with Moo.

Kris is great! She is reliable, so friendly. She did a great job taking care of our golden retriever while we were away. We were so happy to come home and find a sweet pet report and thank you note. We will definitely be using her again!
Kris has been great! She is reliable and a great communicator. My morkie is usually anxious around people, but Kris is always able to put her at ease. Pet reports, photos, and texts are always welcomed.
Kristie is great!! She’s professional, responsive and a great caregiver for my newly adopted greyhound. Loved getting text updates and photos while I was away.
We couldn’t ask for a better place for playtime and boarding. EA is like heaven on Earth for our pup Kodak and he is always so excited to get there. The staff are truly wonderful and we’re so thankful for their love and care of our furriest family member.
The friendly staff provide such good care of my senior dachshunds! Boarding rates are very reasonable for the incredible care and attention provided.
My dog, Betty, loves going to daycare at Elizabeth Ann Kennels! The staff is so loving and they take great care of her. I love seeing the photos of her on instagram! I have peace of mind knowing that she is safe and happy while I am at work. I recommend EA Kennels to all my fellow dog owners because they are the best!
Good service. They also send you periodic updates on your pet during their stay there. My pets have been there many times and had a positive experience.
We have boarded our dog and cat here many times while traveling and have always been very happy with the quality of service. My daughter has also left her cat for an extended stay when she joined the National Guard. He did not get along with our animals so she had no choice but to board him while she was gone for three months. Of course she was really nervous about leaving her "baby" for so long however they assured her he would have time to play with staff and be well taken care of. She was very happy to find that the staff was very friendly and always answered her one million questions when calling for updates. When she returned she found him to be healthy and happy. I highly recommend this kennel for anyone who really cares about their animals.
Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our baby while we were away! This was the first time we had our dog boarded and we were nervous to leave her in the care of others. Our friends use this kennel to care for their dog and recommended we board our dog here while we were away on vacation. The girls at the front desk were so nice, they made us feel confident that our dog would be taken very good care of. They went as far as to email my husband an update on how she was doing and sent pictures of her playing outside with another dog, she looked very happy! Again, thank you so much! We will be using your kennel in the future.
Boarded my dog for an extended stay and the staff was very caring and patient with all my phone calls checking up on my baby!!! They also sent me photos during play time. Indy was happy and healthy when I picked him up. So grateful to have found this place.
Great place. They are great with our Husky
We are thrilled with the service we get from the entire team at Elizabeth Ann Kennels. They are always willing to accommodate us and we’ve never had a problem getting our dog in or having specific issues resolved. We highly recommend EA Kennels.
Have boarded our dog a few times now and they've always taken really good care of him. They have a mandatory bath at the end of boarding which is nice, because he doesn't come home smelling like a kennel.
This place is brilliant. I have been coming here for 11 years with my pup, even though I don't live in NJ anymore. He's so happy here and loves to stay so much that he doesn't even look back at me when he goes off to play. I never worry about him while I'm away as I suspect he has a better time on vacay at preferred pet care than I do on my vacay. 😀♥️
Took our dog here years ago and hope this place has improved. The problem is they have so many animals. At 7p they closed for the night and your dog will be locked in a small concrete pen until they open again in the morning. That didn’t sit well with us. Our dog came home stressed, hoarse and aggressive. Think carefully before you board your dog in a facility.
Sam has so much fun at day care! He even gets excited when he sees the PPC 'party van' (i.e. the transport van) driving around the neighborhood while we are out on walks. The drivers always honk for him!
My dog loves coming here! The staff is so friendly and accommodating for us as well! I highly recommend it!
The Preferred Pet Care team is amazing! My pup Moose ❤️❤️❤️ loves going to daycare. He bounds in the morning and is the busy pup playing all day. Highly recommend the PPC team. The proof is in the picture
The staff was amazing and very helpful! They definitely helped ease my mind of any worries for my dog's first stay with them. They were also able to answer my questions and even relay personal anecdotes of my dog.
Preferred Pet Care team is awesome! My dogs are not the easiest to take care of (one gets injured easily due to a slipped disc and has ibs) and I boarded them there for 5 days (right after an injury from another daycare not keeping a close eye on him). They kept in constant contact with me as well as my dogs came back in perfect health. 10/10 would recommend. Only wished I lived closer so they could be going to daycare there as well.
Preferred Pet is really the perfect place for day care and boarding for your dog. The staff is very friendly and my little man loves going there to play. While on a week long trip, he stayed and was obviously very comfortable and happy while staying there. He's always so eager to return.
We are so lucky to have found Preferred Pet Care for our dog. Our dog is always excited to go there. She pulls towards the door when we arrive in the parking lot. She has been to many day cares in the past. Preferred Pet Care is very responsive, truly care for the dogs, and accommodates the needs of the pets and the owners. I've been recommending Preferred Pet Care to my neighbors. I highly recommend Preferred Pet Care, and our dog will surely continue to go to Preferred Pet Care!
My puppy is beyond happy to go to play at Preferred Pet Care. She jumps for joy when we arrive. I can understand why. All the employees are sooooo nice. You can tell they LOVE the dogs & enjoy working there. Whether my 11 month old dog goes for a half or a full day, when she comes home, she eats, drinks water and falls asleep because she’s exhausted!!! Love. Love. Love this place.
