Mindy and Dave couldn't have been more warm and welcoming hosts. They invited me to come the night before my sit and took me out to dinner and showed me around their town. Eesa is such a sweet, playful cat and I really enjoyed spending time with her. I truly felt bonded with her by the time I left and will miss our snuggles. The pictures of their home and its views don't do it justice. It is so serene and peaceful at their home in the mountains, and there's plenty to do in the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this sit to anyone who loves cats and the great outdoors.
Carol and Lily are the sweetest, most welcoming hosts! We kept in touch for months leading up to the stay, arrived early and got to spend quality time together, and then Lily kept us good company with her happy personality! Lily likes to stay busy with long morning walks, hikes, toy puzzles with treats in them, hard bones to munch on outside, tug of war, and fetching tennis balls in her nice backyard. Carol is so great with children, and my toddler adored her-and Lily too! He was given a bunch of toy cars to play with and books to read, and she even set up a extra bed for him. The house is cozy and clean with a private backyard. We had fun harvesting the garden. There's plenty to do in the area! Carol was understanding when Lily got a foxtail in her paw during a hike we took her on and had to take her to the vet- she never blamed us for it and we only had positive interactions and great communication. Carol and Lily felt more like family members than strangers. You will enjoy this opportunity!
I had a wonderful sit looking after sweet Jemima. She was an easy cat to look after and enjoyed the occasional cuddle. Libby's place was fantastic and in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the supermarket and high street. Libby was kind enough to pick me up from the train station and cook dinner the night before they left, and communicated everything very clearly in the guidebook. If you stay here, be sure to make the most of all the great walks around Guildford!
Our stay with Sammy was short but he is the sweetest from the moment we arrived. He loves to cuddle at night and get pets all day. He also loves his wand toy! The home was very close to anything we wanted to do. Lacy and Roderick were very communicative and everything was as expected.
Alice and Pete are the nicest people with 3 amazing cats. They are so thoughtful throughout my stay and I could not ask for a better housesit. Lovely house too!
A comfy house with a comfy bed in the guest bedroom (plus room darkening shades!). George and Jenna are generous and forthcoming and clearly devoted to Otter and Marco, who are just about the easiest cats we’ve ever cared for. They have distinct personalities which is always fun, and we grew very attached to them. The location is perfect, with a pond and a creek, absolute privacy in the woods away from it all yet still close to NYC.
