It was a pleasure to sit for Myles and Toni, their dog Molly went with them. Information shared before and during the sit was comprehensive, making the sit easy and comfortable. Their Dalmatian Lola is a joy, she’s an energetic pup who loves her walks and runs across the neighbouring fields and farmland. As this was a weekend sit we didn’t venture further than their locality, there are walks immediately from their house and the landscape has a beauty of its own, with the most stunning skies. Lola and I had 2 walks of 1 hour plus a day, once exercised she is settled, cuddly and affectionate. She sleeps well in her room overnight and can be left for a few hours, which I did whilst I went into Woodhall Spa, a local town 20 minutes drive away and worth a visit. Lola enjoyed snuggles on the sofa whilst I read or watched TV. Blythe is a little more reserved than Polly and didn’t venture downstairs but both enjoyed a cuddle and a stroke on the landing. They are very easy to care for. Myles and Toni’s house is spacious with a lovely view from their kitchen/diner. Their guest bedroom had a really comfy bed. Their house had everything I needed for my weekend sit. I recommend. Thank you Myles and Toni for trusting me with your beautiful Lola, Blythe and Polly.
Grace introduced me to the pets and gave me a tour of the house via video before the sit. I arrived a day early, and after going over everything related to pet care, Darius and I went for a drive so that he could show me the neighborhood. There is a boat ramp on the intracoastal waterway a couple blocks from the house, and the Atlantic beaches are only a few minutes away. Everything else (grocery stores, Walmart, banks, etc.) is close by on US 1. Ziggy is a very sweet dog, and good with commands. The cats took a few days to get to know me, but after that, came looking for me every day to get some attention. Overall a very nice stay, and a great location close to the beach.
It was great pet sitting for Orin’s two gorgeous cats, Charlotte and Sergio - they are both very adorable. Orin’s apartment is also wonderful, and very handily placed for nearby shops etc in the lovely town of Niwot, not to mention buses to Boulder and Longmont for those without their own transport. Highly recommended all round - we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would happily return.
Tilly is a very sweet and calm dog. She was very relaxed around us, quiet and just lovely. She loves sniffing around when going for walks. Helen's communication was excellent before and throughout the sit. She left us clear instructions and information on lots of lovely walks. Braunton is a lovely place. There are lots of beautiful coastal walks and sandy beaches nearby. We went to Croyde and Woolacombe and had a great time. We really enjoyed the sit thanks Helen. Thanks for trusting us with Tilly and your lovely home. Sally and Harry 🙂 xxx
This was a nice sit in a very good location! Jannel and Richard are lovely people! I was able to meet Blizzard and see the flat a couple of weeks before. Jannel explained everything to me and left detailed instructions which were much appreciated. Communication with Jannel was easy and not at all burdensome as she required few updates - I was given the impression I was trusted to get on with the job which made for a relaxing stay! The house itself is ideally located in a quiet street a 4 minute walk from the Southside Shopping centre. I had been given the choice of two bedrooms and opted for the firmer futon mattress which was super comfortable. Blizzard was very well behaved throughout the night and came to snuggle a few times which was nice. She is the sweetest cat and I miss her already! She doesn't use a catflap but is given supervised access to the garden and wears a tracker so you can locate her easily. She mostly uses her litterbox which is self-cleaning so I didn't have to do anything! A dream! Feeding her was also very easy as there were no set meal times and she ate when she wanted to. Jannel and Richard also left me some milk, a loaf of bread and a whole lot of snacks which was so kind of them! Thank you for choosing me on Trusted House sitters! I'd love to be back.
Rachel and Morgan were amazing hosts! They provided detailed instructions on how to care for their home and adorable two cats. If we had questions during our stay, they were so quick to respond and extremely helpful. Their home was clean, cozy, and inviting. Charlestown is a hidden gem in Boston. There were so many great restaurants and stores in walking distance. It was a perfect get away for the holiday season. We absolutely fell in love with their cats Daisy and Dahlia. They were so easy to take care of and so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed all the cuddles and play time we got with them. I highly recommend this housesit, and we hope to housesit again for them in the future!
