Helen and I spoke on the phone prior to the sit and we went through all the details for looking after Beti. Great communication, lovely room and bedroom in a lovely location. Beti - well Beti is very cute, as well as a tiny bit mischievous, a gorgeous combination, she loves playing fetch and she’s very funny:) Very enjoyable sit!
I loved caring for little Nellie. She is very sweet and playful with lots of energy! Really enjoyed our walk in the woods in Tring park. Paul and Libby are lovely people and the cottage is charming, cosy and peaceful.
2 older cars, each with distinct personalities and easy care. (Even with a brief, non urgent trip to the caring, nearby vet). All this kitty love in a spacious home situated alongside the Open Space trails at the foot of the Flatirons. We’d love to sit Joey and George again. For us, this was a week of comfort and freedom to visit with our son over the holidays. Thanks Frances and Mike.
Nathalie was a great host and clear with her communication. We shared a lovely meal with her and Terry the evening before they left. We bonded quickly with Noodle and the pusscats. We went for a short walk with Nathalie and Noodle so we could clearly see the possible walking routes from the house and learn about Noodles likes and anxieties. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean, warm and well equipped. The location is absolutely stunning! Walks through the Lydford gorge were a delight with Noodle but his anxiety around some people and some other dogs meant we walked in the quieter areas, which suited us all very well. Noodle is a very lovable character and very funny. He has some dog friends in the neighbourhood and enjoys playing with them. Fleur is very loving and funny. She and Noodle get along very well and it's lovely to see. Coco is a little more wary but when she's on the bed, a safe space for her, she is as affectionate and relaxed as Fleur and Noodle. We loved this sit for so many reasons and if available would love to return. Thank you for trusting us with your lovely furry family.
Unfortunately, my stay was just for a weekend! I loved my time at Avril's with Lola and Bailey. Avril was very kind and welcoming, and the kitties are very affectionate. Bailey likes to play fetch, too, which was great fun! The area is charming. I walked along the canal and into Ripley. There are traditional pubs dotted throughout the area, so be sure to stop in at one or two. Some of them close in between lunch and dinner, so don't wait till 2pm to decide you're hungry. I would certainly recommend sitting for them if you're offered the opportunity. :)
I had an amazing experience sitting for a very cute dog named Lady. Lady is incredibly sweet and well-behaved. She loves to cuddle, enjoyed our walks, and playing both at home and outside. The communication with the owner was smooth, making the entire process seamless. The apartment was super nice, clean, and in a very convenient location close to Bondi Beach. I couldn't have asked for a better house sitting experience. Highly recommend!
