Gabriella
This was really a wonderful sit. Gabriella is so warm, welcoming, and communicative that I felt an instant friendship with her. Her home is comfortable and in a great location with St. Anne's Well Garden directly behind it and the promenade just down the road, both places where Fifi and I spent a lot of time. Speaking of Fifi, she is an absolute sweetheart. I miss her already. She's so well-behaved and easy-going, and she's a complete joy to walk and to hang out with. She has such a personality that she had me laughing throughout the 2+ weeks we were together. Chicken and Egg are the sweetest cats you'll ever meet, too, and they'll soak up all the affection you're willing to give them and reward you with lots of loud, enthusiastic purring and head-butting your legs. I would love to hang out with the whole crew again and wouldn't hesitate to return for another sit.

Stacey and Scott
What a spectacular home with lovely, easy to care for cats, Romeo and Coco, to keep you company! Stacey and Scott had a video interview with me, describing their home, fur babies and what was important to them. They graciously invited me for dinner and to stay with them the night before they travelled, but unfortunately there was the worst winter storm in 10years, so it wasn’t safe to be on the roads. They were great about arranging an alternative “hand-off” by Stacey’s sister the next morning and the Welcome Guide is highly informative too. The house is easy to find and well-located for nice walks and a great Longos for groceries.

The sit was just a week, so plants didn’t need to be watered but they have several lovely indoor plants. If you love to cook, there is everything you need to make gourmet meals! Stacey communicated regularly if I had questions but wasn’t looking for constant updates.

When I arrived, Romeo came right up for scratches behind the ears and was interested in chasing a few jingle balls I brought. Coco was more settled and happy to just snooze when I first got there. Soon she became my steadfast companion, though, wanted to sit near where I was working or reading and to sleep with me at night.

Romeo and Coco are healthy older cats who don’t require special medicine and are great to stay with in a beautiful, spacious home.

Betty
Joey and Rusty are sweet, well trained and behaved dogs. I enjoyed spending a week with them in Betty’s cozy home with great views. Betty was very welcoming and even offered local hiking information. Joey and Rusty were content hanging out and running in their backyard. They were able to be left in the house for a few hours so I could explore the local attractions.
It was a fun sit in Tucson and I already miss Joey and Rusty!
