What a wonderful sit this was. Tasha’s home in North Tacoma is so comfortable and she made me feel welcome from our first video chat. She is warm and personable and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience! She shared some of her vacation pics of shark diving and local kitty cats which was neat to see. And we got to know the neighbors Dan & Anne, they own the house and and they even had us over for wine and cheese one evening! About Francois the kitty, it was a real treat getting to know him and his quirks. He has 20 different meows and by the end I was starting to recognize them. For the first two days he stayed tucked away, but once he relaxed he was very confident and vocal! Tasha had a cat tunnel sent and it was fun to play with him and see him really get into it. We really felt welcomed and we hope to be back soon!
A truly precious experience. We just completed our first pet sit for Alison, Ruby, and Jon, and they made it incredibly easy for us. Everything was perfectly prepared and easy to handle. We stayed at their spacious, comfortable, and cozy guesthouse, which they also use for their bicycle tour business. Upon arrival, they warmly invited us to a nice dinner and explained what to do. During our stay we took care of Lili, the cat, who in fact besides being fed and cuddled twice a day didn’t need much attention at all. She has been showing her appreciation for being looked after by approaching us in a friendly cat manner. Sunday, the dog, has truly won a place in our hearts. We took her out twice a day for 60 to 90 minute walks, rain or shine, and we quickly became an inseparable trio. She was also good riding in the car with us to the lakes near by. Our days concluded by the fireplace, reading, listening to music with a content dog at our feet and satisfied sitters. We highly recommend sitting for Alison, Ruby and Jon and would love to return back when the opportunity arises.
Melissa has a very peaceful retreat in the Texas countryside and Beans is the perfect companion for your stay. If you are looking for some quiet time to relax, read a book, or do some hiking, do not miss the opportunity to sit Beans in Dripping Springs. Beans is a laid-back dog who loves to cuddle and will not hesitate to tell you if he wants a snack or a walk. Melissa is easy to communicate with and a great host, all in all, this was a great sit and I would highly recommend it if you want some alone time. Thank you Melissa & Beans
I did a house sit for Aiyana, Ephraim, and Pumpkin! Aiyana and Ephraim were amazing with communication and their house was immaculately clean, which made my stay even better. Their cat, Pumpkin, is chill, kind, low maintenance, and sweet. She loves being outside which is perfect because Aiyana and Ephraim have a beautiful garden to relax in! I would definitely house sit for them again :)
We only got to meet Sue, as Robert was away. What a fun ‘sit’ we had. Sue served us a delicious home cooked meal when we got there and afterwards took us on a long walk where we were shown various places of interest and activities available as well as the local shops and pubs within walking distance . Eartha and Coco, the kitties, were friendly and relaxed, and ended up sleeping on our bed with us which we were very comfortable with . Sue was a wonderful, generous and friendly host, and we would happily return to this super home .
I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of cuddly and communicative Satan. We got along very well. He needs to be shown some respect, and rules set by Kaja regarding his health and feeding regime must be observed to keep him in healthy mode and in good spirits. I also liked the location – a lively Prenzlauer Berg area with small shops, good food, and two parks within walking distance.
