Cat Sitters in Hartley, CA

We had agreed to this pet sit months prior to their arrival. It was a 6 week stay. Jenny and Drew arrived less than 12 hours prior to my departure. I picked them up at the airport and took them to lunch at a seaside restaurant. I was so surprised that Jenny had not even read the "home owners manual" that this website provides. I sent the information a good month prior to their arrival. They were not prepared in my opinion or took the house sit very seriously. Nevertheless I had confidence in their abilities after spending time with them. When we arrived at the home I introduced them to my 2 doggies and got them acquainted with the home and area.. Upon my return (6 weeks later) there was missing food in the freezer, missing towels, and some broken items. The dogs seemed very happy and content and Jenny would let me know from time to time that the pets were fine. All in all they were good but I was disappointed in their lack of preparedness and the missing and broken items. I spoke to Jenny prior to writing this review in order to understand what took place while I was away. I was not completely satisfied with her replies. Most importantly my home and dogs were safe and sound. So I'm satisfied.

Very nice person; conscientious pet & home care

Mark responded to my need for a short term sit. It was a last minute need for me to return to the US. He was so very kind and gave me peace of mind. He took great care of my dog and home.

Zero complaints. Way better than expected. Super friendly and responds fast. We talked alot about travels etc, not just about the sitting. Would recommend 10/10.

I simply cannot say enough about Michelle & Marc!! Michelle was extremely organized and communicative during the whole process. She sent updates and photos and I came home to a very happy dog and a VERY clean house! My flight was delayed and I arrived home very late (AKA VERY early morning) and Michelle sent me a text to make sure I was home - truly appreciated. I will welcome them anytime they can/want to look after Murray!

Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!

Fantastic housesitters. Detail oriented and took great care of our three pups and our house. Frequent updates. The house was cleaner than when we left. Lovely people who enjoy what they do.

We cannot recommend Lydia highly enough as a housesitter! She took exceptional care of our two dogs while we were away. Not only did she take them on two walks every day, but she also sent regular updates and pics, which made us feel completely at ease. Her dog, Shadow, was the perfect playmate for our pups, and they had a blast together. On top of that, Lydia kept our house spotless and in perfect order. When we returned, our dogs were sad to see her go—they clearly loved their time with her! We will absolutely trust Lydia again in the future.

Tiana was very reliable and I came home to happy dogs and a clean home. I would definitely recommend her and I will happily use her again.

My dog loved Elisabeth from the moment he met her and that was really all that mattered to me. She really understood what my dog needed especially since he can be a little reactive and needy at times. He was very well cared for and I hope she’ll come back to stay here again.
