A very peaceful 3.5 weeks in Brittany. Dogs, Babe and Miah were absolute smashers. So easy to look after. Thorough enjoyed our walks with them and ball games in the garden. Great dogs. The location is rural and isolated but Ivan and Lesley left the car for our use. It’s essential ! You really get to see rural Brittany and it’s very scenic and beautiful. Lots of places to visit within 30 minute drive. Restaurants are open at midday for lunch but very limited for choice if you like to eat out in the evenings. Brush up on your French and set off !
My husband and I had a great sit at Autumn’s place. The house was clean and well located. Autumn left great instructions and was easy to communicate with during the sit. We would definitely sit here again!
Such an incredible sit - both Vanessa & Peter were so welcoming, made me feel comfortable and right at home, had a lovely meal upon arriving. The animals were so well behaved, sweet and cuddly. Bagheera gave so many kisses and purrs, and Pocket was such an affectionate pup. The house was beautiful and the area was stunning, amazing for country walks. Whoever gets to do a sit here is very lucky- I hope to come back soon
Rusty was a dream dog to look after. He always uses his best manners at home, on walks and at the dog park. He’s also very affectionate and like to have a cuddle and scratch (which helps bonding) but also enjoys time by himself relaxing in his bed. Amanda and her family are very lovely and accommodating making me feel relaxed and welcome in their home. I’d more than happily do another sit for them if the opportunity arose.
We had a great week at Marco and Jennifer’s house. Their handbook had all the essential information, the home was beautiful and comfortable, and the pets were delightful. We walked the dogs each day around a beautiful trail system and enjoyed evenings in the family room as a family.
John and Kathy were amazing hosts!!! They made sure to show me everything with the pets and home before they left on their trip. Additionally, they were communicative while they were away, which I appreciated. Their home was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my time there!

Top-notch care by really caring humans. I love The Mindful Mutt crew! They truly care for my pup and work with her to stimulate her little brain. The fact that this is a *structured* daycare makes a huge difference in my dog's life. They play, train, and rest during the day. The scheduled rest times ensure my dog will not go into overdrive and remains a happy, balanced dog. When I pick up my Luna she is physically and mentally tired and never wants to leave. I can't sing any more praises to Deanna and her team. They are the best!!
We love The Mindful Mutt! My dog is pretty anxious but the staff is thoughtful about how they handle each dog and very kind. Almost every day at pick up, a member of their team gives me a little overview of how the day went. Deanna, the owner, is super responsive and communicative. My dog seems to really like all of them! They also take videos throughout the day and post to instagram — it’s so nice to be able to check in and see how they are doing.
The Mindful Mutt is fantastic! We have a very high energy dog who loves to play and run around almost nonstop. He always comes home tired and happy. Every time I bring him he gets super excited and now doesn't even look back when I drop him off! The staff are great and knowledgeable, and Deanna, the owner, loves working with dogs and had years of experience. I can't recommend Mindful Mutt more highly!
The mindful mutt is a doggy day care on a whole new level. The owner, Deanna, is wonderful and will take great care of your pup. The dogs get to play and do mind games during their stay, keeping them engaged a happy. They get a walk as needed, and they can even stay overnight - with Deanna on site! We have searched long and hard around Boston for day care, with a wide range of staff/facility "levels" (to stay nice) but this place is by far the best. We love Mindful Mutt — they take excellent care of our senior dachshund when we are out of town, and we get many many photos of him as an office assistant giving kisses to the team. Everyone is so gentle and relaxed and we can’t overstate how much we appreciate the great care.
We left our dog Lucy with the Mindful Mutt while we had to travel for two weeks and we felt very comfortable that she was being taken care of. The staff was all very kind and you can tell they care for the dogs. They were also very prompt to respond and provide updates on Lucy during her stay (we loved seeing the pictures and videos of her posted to instagram!). Our little puppy Mack has been going to The Mindful Mutt weekly (+ some overnights) for over 4 months now. Deanna and the entire Mindful Mutt team are some of the most caring people in general, let alone with animals. It has been such a an amazing experience bringing Mack. Instead of causing a ruckus at home, he gets to go a few days a week to play (and learn how to play) with all sorts of other dogs, works on his skills, and gets to have some structure in his energetic puppy life. We love TMM!
We feel unbelievably fortunate to have found The Mindful Mutt. We have two dogs and we trust Deanna implicitly with them. The team is also extremely responsive when we call with questions and they reach out to us timely if there's anything they need to bring to our attention while our dogs are there. We seriously won't board our dogs anywhere else at this point. It's so comforting knowing we can go out of town and our dogs are at a place where they're cared for and happy. We've lived all up and down the east coast with our pups, and this is far and away the best we've ever felt about where we board them. I give Deanna and her team my highest recommendation.

Alexis is responsive and reliable! Her love and knowledge of animals is apparent. She has a great sense of humor and is easy to get along with. She always sends pet photos and notes when she's on the job. My cat and dog love her. I don't worry about my pets when I'm out of town, because I know Alexis is providing superior care. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Alexis is fantastic with cats. She is very attuned to their personalities and eager to meet their needs. Our three cats are not very social but they have all quickly warmed to her gentle attention and her spirit of fun. Alexis is extremely reliable and attentive and we trust her completely. Alexis has been a great dog walker for my 65 pound Goldendoodle, Bailey! He is a good boy, but does require extra attentiveness to keep him from eating things he should not eat during walks. He really is relentless about it, so I would not trust him with just anyone. Alexis pays extra attention to prevent this, which is especially important as he is a resource guarder, so once he gets something it is very hard to get it from him and I definitely don't want him eating things that could be harmful to him. I trust Alexis to help keep him safe. She has been very helpful to me during times when I was injured and recovering from surgery and could not walk Bailey myself as well as when I was on vacation and needed someone to walk him while my friend staying with him was at work. On top of it all, Alexis shows Bailey lots of love and he gets very excited when she comes, giving lots of hugs and kisses! I highly recommend Alexis! She has been great for my very lovable, very good, but a bit difficult big boy!!

Alexis truly cares about animals and takes wonderful care of them. She bonded beautifully with my cat and kept me posted daily with hilarious accounts of his activities. I highly recommend Alexis for pet care. She has taken care of my cat when I've been away on trips for 6 years now. I have been very happy with her care - as has my cat. Alexis actually takes the time to brush and pet her when she visits, not just clean the litter box and give her food. When I return my cat is calm and content - which tells me she felt cared for while I was away. Alexis also pays attention to the details, leaving things neat and tidy. Above & Beyond Pet Services is wonderful. I transitioned my King Charles Cavalier to dog walks about 12 months ago from doggie daycare as I realized he preferred the one on one attention. Sophia has been his primary walker for several months now. She is very attentive to Asher and will always mention in her notes if she notices anything out of the ordinary. I met her and she is very kind and caring. I know that Asher is in good hands and that she is able to adjust to his needs each day which differ based on my schedule with him and if we walked the prior night or earlier in the morning. I know that he looks forward to spending time with her whether they walk or play depending on his needs for the day I know she is giving him lots of love and attention. I am so grateful to have this incredible reliable and professional service for my dog who is my family.
Elise and Lillian walked our aging pup under the senior walk program (2x a day). They were both amazing, and Maya loved all of her walkers from A&B, but these two take the cake! We are so grateful for Above and Beyond and the services they provide. When we adopted our puppy, we never expected it to be so hard to find dog care but once we found them, they have been amazing. The entire company, from the office staff to the walkers, especially Katsumi, treats Quinn like she is their own. We had such an amazing experience with Kassandra’s pet care. She watched our 1 year old puppy for a week while we traveled outside the country . She was very responsive and sent us multiple daily updates with photos & videos! Our puppy had a lot of energy and Kassandra’s close proximity to a large park was perfect. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a text back . We will definitely use her services again and would highly recommend her.

We have been using Kassandra’s services for several years now to help take care of our cat Izzy when we are out of town. She is fantastic and super reliable! She comes to our apartment to give her food and fresh water, and keeps her company for a while since she’s alone in the house all day. We’re very picky with our cat sitters as our Izzy is very shy and has some eating restrictions, and Izzy loves when Kassandra comes to visit! She sends us lots of photos and videos of Izzy coming to the door to greet her purring and asking for pets, or snuggled up on her lap looking happy as can be. Her daily updates help us feel at ease knowing Izzy is being so well cared for while we are away. I would recommend Kassandra to anybody looking for a caring and attentive pet sitter!
I can’t recommend Kassandra enough! She is friendly, helpful and reliable, and always takes fantastic care of my cat when I’m away, including sending text updates with videos each time she visits. She is very responsive and flexible with scheduling visits as well, which makes traveling much easier. It’s been great to find a cat sitter who is so dependable and who I can tell really cares for the animals she is taking care of. And most importantly, I can tell my cat always feels happy and secure hanging out with her too :) Highly recommend.
I can’t recommend Kassandra enough for the all important job of providing care to your beloved pets! She is incredibly committed, thorough, and absolutely adored by our two cats. Before our first trip away, she came over to meet the cats and become familiar with their environment. Each day she texted us brief recaps of her two visits and sent photos and videos of our happy and healthy boys. Any pet who will be out of their owner’s care for a period of time will be very happy to have Kassandra visit until their human gets home!

Kassandra was our dog walker for many years and our dog LOVED her!!! Daisydoo couldn't contain herself any time Kassandra came to pick her up and would even try and get into a car that looked like hers!!! Kassandra was incredibly dependable and reliable and rarely took time off without giving us plenty of advance notice to make other arrangements when need be. She was also very accommodating to any changes in our schedule and would often help us out last minute when an emergency arose. The only reason we stopped seeing Kassandra was because we moved too far way otherwise we would still be using her on a regular basis. She's the best!
The Daily Stroll has been a second home for our dog since he was a tiny puppy. The staff and the manager Eric obviously LOVE our dog and have helped raise him. This large dog facility is great for our small but very high energy pup, and he always gets nice and tuckered out playing with the other dogs. We feel lucky to have this option close to home, and would highly recommend it to any local dog owners.
I rely so much on the Daily Stroll staff at 1117–Eric, Andrew, Ashelya and Ana—to take good care of my dog with my work demands. They make a good routine and an enjoyable life with my dog possible. Huge appreciation!!!

Paws To Consider is a wonderful dog walking service. Their walkers are professional and friendly, on time and really seem to love my dog. Cricket can be a little difficult to meet, as she has a stranger/danger reaction sometimes, but Paws does a great job of introducing new walkers to Cricket. They are great, and help me out so much with my sweet dog. Also, their level of and clear communication is fantastic. Couldn't be happier with these guys!
Very happy with the dog walking service these past few months! My corgi gets a good walk in, treats, and cute photos taken. They have been very accommodating with any last minute schedule changes. Would highly recommend!
Our neighbors recommended Paws to us three years ago and we have been scheduling occasional walks and sitting for our dog, Jack, since then. The shelter where we adopted Jack would only release him to a forever home with no other dogs since he was surrendered due to his aggressive behavior with other dogs. None of his walkers/sitters at Paws have reported any problems and frequently seem to do a better job of controlling his behavior than we do. Paws even recommended a harness which Jack seems to be much more comfortable with than the collar we were using. We love the frequent updates that the walkers/sitters provide after each walk including lots of really great photographs, maps of the routes walked, and number of bowel movements. It would be difficult to leave Jack in a kennel and we feel much more comfortable having the sitters from Paws stay with Jack at our home. We’ve always found our home as clean, orderly, and secure as we left it. All of the walkers and sitters at Paws have gotten along so well with Jack that we haven’t had to worry and sometimes even get a bit envious. We would highly recommend Paws to anyone.
We utilize dog walking services for our Goldendoodle puppy. We have found them to be exceptional! Excellent communication, Extremely organized, Reliable dog care are just a few of the things we like best. Our puppy can be difficult at times on walks and anxious around strangers. Jana has been extremely good for our pup. I always have peace of mind when I go to work. I love the report cards we get with photos. They are caring, professional and flexible. Walks are solo or with 1 compatible dog. I love that about them. It’s definitely a more personalized approach and they are very thoughtful with transitions when it comes to introducing our pup to other dog walkers they build in additional time.
Been using Paws for years (6+) and would (and did) highly recommend! They are exceptionally accommodating to fluctuating work schedules and are great with walking an extra dog, when I dog sit for friends.
Paws To Consider has been incredible! We adopted a dog last year who ended up being somewhat high maintenance. Paws To Consider has taken SUCH good care of him on his weekly walks. The post-walk messages and photos are thorough and fun to see. The administrative team has also been really helpful and flexible with our varying schedule. We are sadly moving out of their radius, and I know we won't find a dog walker that our dog bonds with as much!

I had a lovely expirence at this establishment while visiting from California. I was in search of a woke, health focused, welcoming environment with natural fibers on the beds, organic produce, and clean water. I was hoping time away from the stress of Los Angeles would assist me in my New Yeara weight loss journey. I found a variety of activities such as squirrel chasing and was able to get my daily steps in! The chef made meals were top notch and the poop bags are even compostable. The toilets are kept clean allowing a fresh drink every time. I look forward to returning in the summer with the fam. Augie.
I've been around a lot of dog hostels in my long life, but never did I imagine a place like hygge hostel for dogs. The food is plentiful, and the politics are progressive. The accommodations are lavish. Each mutt gets a room with a view. I wish I were a dog.
My pup got a beautiful hot stone massage. It really mellowed her out for the entire week. And her keratin treatment made her fur so soft and shiny she was the envy of all the other dogs at the park.
Disappointing. I brought my dog Steven in for reiki therapy but was rejected service on account of their strict No Shirt No Shoes, No Service policy. If you bother coming, make sure your dog is fully clothed.

Excellent service. My dog felt very pampered. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning on the first floor which is a bit stiffling during the day.
One of the dogs that stay here frequently is a top-class philosopher. He and his minions convinced me to work for the cause of dog-kind. A+ experience, would bring dogs here again.

Christine has been in the pet services business for many years. She is a great care-giver to her pets and pets needs. We've been bringing our dog there for many years and her and her staff are above the normal pet care services. Their type of service is that they watch over the dogs to be sure that they are all safe and cared for during their time there. What service would pick up your dog in the morning and drop off early afternoon and the pets can stay in or go outside during that time; it's better than your dog sitting home for hours and finding not so great surprises when you arrive home. I highly recommend her services for exceptional pet care.
I have sent my dog to Happy Tails for ten years and I cannot speak highly enough of Christine and her team. I had a dog with special needs. She was dog aggressive which made boarding and play group very difficult. When other businesses were not able to take my dog, Christine bent over backward to help us make boarding work. We will send all of our dogs to Happy Tails. Christine is a lover of all animals and it is such a relief to send your dog to a home away from home, where they are treated with love and care. I have been using Happy Tails for 16 years. Happy Tails has been with me from when I adopted my rescue yellow lab (who passed away) to my two new dogs. I was a single busy professional when I met Christine and now I am a wife/mom with two kids and still a busy professional. Christine and her team have been the reason why I am able to have such wonderful dogs as part of my family. I spoke with her before adopting my first dog and knew that I had the care I needed for when life got hectic. Happy Tails has always been there to take exceptional care of my dogs. I trust them fully and my dogs have always flourished in their care. One of my rescue dogs, Chase, came to me very nervous. Christine came to my house, built a relationship with Chase and made sure he got special treatment (he even got to sit in the front seat) when going to daycare. I often have to call them last minute because of changes to my schedule and they always accommodate. They also have in-home boarding with pick up and drop off from your home, which makes travel so much easier. I know my dogs are safe and happy with Happy Tails. I highly recommend Christine and her team of highly trained staff!
My Dog Serge is 16 years old. I had him for 2- 3 years before I found somewhere that would care for him as we do. Everywhere I went was awful. The smells, atmosphere and staff made me and Serge want to run. Then I found Christine and Happy Tails 👍😎💖. That was 12 years ago. I can’t describe the comfort, joy and satisfaction myself, Serge and others have experienced with the dedication and loving care our pets get there. I have referred Family friends and coworkers overwhelmingly and they have had the same experience. Earlier this year I came home to a house that had no heat or hot water, called Happy Tails and Christine came to the rescue. I was able to focus on a major heating problem in the comfort of knowing that Serge was warm and well cared for 😇. If not for Christine and her dedicated staff I could never leave Serge. Happy Tails, Christine and her staff are amazing. .
I couldn't imagine owning a dog without Happytails. For several years, they have provided playgroup, boarding, transportation, and advice for me, my old beagles, and now my puppy Irish Setter. They are quick to respond, flexible with scheduling, affordably priced, and most importantly everything they do makes me feel like my dogs are safe in their hands. My dogs are always happy when they get picked up and happy when they get dropped off, so I know the dogs enjoy Happytails too.
We've been sending our dog here for nearly 4 years now twice a week for play dates and on occasion for overnights. Christine and her crew are amazing with out little girl, she has separation anxiety and since becoming a regular with Happy Tails she has stopped being destructive and plays well with other dogs now. Highly recommend for any dog.
Our girls are regulars at Happy Tails. It's so nice to know that Christine and her staff take care of them as if they were their own when we are away. They always come home happy and tuckered out 😀 and we couldn't be more pleased with the service. …
Had our dog bordered here while away on a 6 day vacation. Returned home and our dog was dropped off. She had a very large wound that needed immediate medical attention. No note/message/communication from the business about our pet's health, behavior, or well being. Business claimed ignorance. Vet said wound was at least 2 days old. Business did pay for the vet bill. We are no longer doing business with Happy Tails.
We have trusted the owner with four of our dogs over 10 years. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, transparent, and cares more than any other business about your babies. Always accommodating and responsive.
Christine and her staff our awesome have left our dogs overnight here and they go to daycare both my dogs Max and Minnie love it. Highly recommend great place.
