What a delightful experience. I really enjoyed my Heathridge housesit - the peaceful setting, one beautiful independent but friendly cat and one low maintenance goldfish in the outside pond. Hid most of the time in the water plants, so was relieved to see it swimming around on my last day! Lorraine is friendly, an excellent communicator, generous, clean, tidy & super organised. We got to meet before the sit and as promised she left everything set up perfectly for me, with clear written information about her home and pets. I would happily repeat the experience. Everything was good, the apartment is comfortable and close to the subway, which is very convenient. Baloo was a nice companion for walks, especially long ones.
I genuinely enjoyed this sit and my time with Piper. She has such a sweet and joyful energy and it really felt she enjoyed my company as well. At home she'd snooze by the desk while I worked, kept me company while I cooked, she is fun to play with but can also play on her own very well and loves her toys! I was very impressed that she only goes on the couch when invited and when she is she's a great snuggle buddy to watch a movie with! She's completely kennel trained and has no issues going to her "crate" when told. Walks were pleasant with her. Though she can get distracted with the smells outside she's also quite responsive to keep walking when guided. She's super friendly and *wants* to say hi to every dog and most humans she passes, especially the ones that acknowledge her. With Elyse's approval I took Piper on a long walk with an old friend and their 1+ year old puppy on the Bay Ridge belt parkway along the water when the weather was nice. Piper LOVED it. She and my friends dog got along great right from the start, they walked well together playing along the way and shared what seemed like a heartfelt goodbye, one of the cutest things I've ever seen, I'm so upset I didn't get a video of it, lol. Elyse is a great dog mom, I'm very impressed by how well she's trained Piper. She was communicative from the start and provided a thorough guide for Piper and her apartment well in advance so I knew exactly what to expect. Her apartment is very tidy and clean and comfortable to stay in with lots of plants and natural light, I felt right at home there. I would absolutely recommend this sit to others and would love the opportunity for a repeat myself!

Laura and her cats are wonderful! Communicating with her was really easy, she added all the necessary information to the Welcome book and was very responsive throughout the sit. Her house is super well organised and full of cool Mexican art.
Wow! What a beautiful house in Santa Fe. We had a great time with Emmett hanging in out in the big, wonderful house. Max went on travel with his family. The house was nicely set up for cooking, watching TV and relaxing. It was very comfortable. The kitty is so sweet! He was fun and easy to care for. Mark is quick to respond and communication was easy. I would sit for this family anytime.
