I had a lovely time at this sit. Paul showed me round the property and introduced me to all the animals. The sheep goats and chickens looked after themselves really. I just checked they were all ok a few times a day although I did go to see the goats abit more as they were so mischievous and funny. The rabbits just had to be let out in their run and fed. There are some lovely walks in the area and a public footpath passes a few fields away. The dogs were very obedient and excellently behaved. I would recommend this sit to any who likes a variety of animals. The famy are lovely and I would would be more than happy to sit again. Thank you Paul to you and your family for a lovely four day sit.
This was a fabulous sit! Redford and Lilly Belle are sweethearts who will steal your heart and Connie is a fabulous person and gracious host! Her home is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and tidy and warmly welcoming, and her yard is a relaxing oasis of tropical plants and trees. Highly recommend and would love to sit again!
This was a great sit. Trevor and Irene made sure we had everything we needed. While some of the info was not in the guide, it was all easy enough to remember. The kitties were far easier for us than their parents! That's cats for you, you work for them!🤣 The neighborhood was beautiful and the beach near them was clean. I wish we could have seen more, but the rain was persistent. Hopefully we'll get back to the area again! Thank you guys for your hospitality! It was much appreciated!
This was my second sit for Rooh and Mimi. It was so much fun to see how much they had changed. Rooh had grown tremendously (he was a kitten when I last sat him). They are, nonetheless, still incredibly affectionate and clever...oh so clever and entertaining. As other sitters have noted as well, Rooh is very food-driven which is always a new challenge. One does need to watch one's food :-). During my visit, he also taught himself how to work the feeder, so he could feed himself extra helpings, lol. I needed to close him from the room so that didn't happen. Fortunately, from that side of the door, he could not open it, but I'm sure someday he'll figure that out too. I'm sure Ananya and Somay will then find a solution :-). They always seem to keep a step ahead of him. He really is one of the smartest cats I've ever met though. Ananya and Somay are very good communicators. They left thorough instructions for the care of their fur babies and the feeders do make the feedings easier overall. The home is comfortable and convenient to any locations where one might want to go in the Bay Area. It's very close to 85 and downtown Sunnyvale.
Duke has gotta be one of the easiest dogs to watch and hang out with. He’s so smart and so sweet!!! Very quiet and such a lovely walker— we had so many little explorations during my stay! Tamari was also very accessible despite being out of the country and I felt very well prepared for Duke. I’d love to sit for them again! Try sitting for them if you can— it was a great experience for me!
I can totally recommend this sit. I had a very pleasant 5 weeks with Rocky the cat, hes a very easy going fellow and the condo is very low maintenance. The property and condo are super comfortable and well equip't. Pool, gym, great audio/visual and climate control. It was really wet, hot and humid while I was there and I was at a perfect, constant temperature. I had a car for about half the time and for the rest i walked. There is dollar general, dollar tree and about 10 restaurants/fast food outlets within a 30 minute walk from the property. If you are prepared to walk an hour each way, (which is no issue for me) you can access 2 major supermarkets, the nearest villages square, (nightly entertainment and many restaurants) and almost every kind of brand name restaurant/fast food outlet in Florida. The Aldi and walmart probably require an uber back lol, as they are a bit further. All up a pleasant and relaxing experience which suited me perfectly.
