The whole family did a great job taking care of my house and cats!!
Incredible place to know. Lovely dog and comfortable house. The owners are very friendly and they give me all the information
I had the pleasure of looking after Luna at the beginning of the pandemic, she was great of company during the lockdown and she is so sweet a vocal! :) She would literally talk to you! The house is very welcoming and comfy and close to shops. We were unable to meet Gemma and Liam beforehand but they gave us clear instructions on how to get inside, tips and places to see, great communications throughout. This is a great sit!
We really enjoyed our time with Monty at Greg's. Monty is a lovely gentle giant. He's absolutely adorable and loves affection. The neighbourhood is very accessible, we went to black sheep coffee roasters a few times and they have a walk up window so Monty can come too. Greg is fantastic he was very flexible and helpful throughout our sit. He even drove us to the bus stop! We are very grateful to have been picked for this sit and highly recommend Greg & Monty ❤️
I had an absolutely lovely time cat sitting Salem in Barcelona. Salem is such a sweet, friendly cat and delightful company. I was quite smitten with her and sad to part company at the end of my sit. Poppy and Steve are lovely, kind hosts, who helped make my stay very comfortable. In fact, they could not have been more hospitable. We had great communication throughout and I was really pleased that I got to meet them in person in the end. I very much hope to see them all again and I would definitely love to sit for Salem again. She is such a treasure. :)
We had the nicest time looking after Lottie and Ruby. Long Stratton grew on us as we explored it. We were warmly welcomed by Ann and Neil. We had everything we needed in the house (including a great CD collection and the BEST homemade chutney) which is warm and very comfortable. Their garden is definitely a highlight. It's well cared for and spacious. We saw a few deers, lots of pheasants, wonderful sunsets every day, the most beautiful sky at night with TONS of stars, a barn owl, and even a rainbow from their back garden... There's a trampoline out the front and bicycles for the adventurers. Ruby and Lottie are a delight, really easy-going dogs, a pleasure to look after them. Ann left us with an extensive list of instructions to look after them which intimidated us a little when we first saw it, but everything went smoothly easily with them. They just need your attention and cuddles more than anything. We loved going to the local charity shop, to the sea for fish and chips, to the pub on the bicycles, cooking dinner, and watching series by the fire whilst cuddling the dogs. We also discovered the comfort of Crocs as we wore the ones in the laundry to go to the garden, life-changing! We highly recommend this sit to anyone who also loves long dogs and is happy to explore the countryside a bit.
We had a wonderful experience! Emma is incredibly warm, welcoming, thoughtful, and exceptionally organized. From detailed communication before our arrival to guiding us through the routines, Emma ensured that we felt comfortable and well-prepared. Not only was the house manual comprehensive, but her instructions for caring for the horses and donkeys in the barn were clear and thorough. George, the cat, is both independent and affectionate. While he spends the majority of the day outside; he is definitely up for some play and snuggles in the evening and on rainy days. He quickly won our hearts with his charming (and chatty) personality. We already miss his company and delightful snuggles. Elenia and Sansa were a definite highlight - initially shy, they quickly warmed up and are so incredibly sweet. They love all the attention you have to give and have left a lasting impression. The horses, Cleo, Womble, Maggie, and Mara, each had their own unique characteristics that made them a joy to be around. From Mara's sassiness to Maggie's sociable nature, Cleo's majestic presence, and Womble's matriarchal role, interacting with them was a delight. The house itself was charming, and the location in Athlone and its surroundings offered plenty to explore and enjoy. We highly recommend Emma's place for a memorable and fulfilling experience. Thank you for everything!
