Hannah and Tom are both very lovely and relaxed people. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. It was an absolute joy to look after their pets: Kobe, Oreo and their + 1 for this house sit Tilly. Kobe is a big friendly giant, very relaxed and loving. He loves the beach and is super easy to take around. When you take him with you to for example a restaurant you will forget that he’s there. The cat Oreo loves cuddles but generally just lives life outside. Tilly was the + 1 for our house sit as she usually lives with Tom’s brother. However this was not a problem for us. She loves cuddles on the sofa and is playful. Unfortunately due to her bad shoulder she can’t go on long walks, but she’s ok to stay at home for a fair few hours. There are some cute small fishing town’s nearby (15 min) with some good restaurants. Padstow has beautiful beaches and is around a hour drive. A lovely house sit which we would recommend if you like to be around nature in Cornwall.
Brin was such a sweet host with also caring for Bubbles, Butters, & Oreo (OMG they were so adorable & easy to care for)! Brins lovely home wasn't far from everything that you need to eat, gyms, & entertainment being a nice short ride to strip if you have a car. Although the little sweetie pies have some potty training needs once they were put up while gone they were all fine! And resumed their usual hanging out or sleeping when out are around the house. I would definitely sit for Brin again!
Mina was very friendly, kind and hospitable before, during and after the sit. She made sure I was comfortable. Her cats are just as wonderful as she is! I’d be happy to stay over again!
We had such a lovely time in Chessington looking after Pebbles and the fishys! The house is warm and homely with lots of cool memorabilia. Its a quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. We felt safe, and the off road parking was super handy. We kept in touch with Sarah always, which helped lots with local and homely info. Pebbles is chill, she can roam freely, and maintains a tight ship. No local cats can overcome the perimeter without Pebbles closing the gap :) She stays on watch through the night, then comes to wake you in the morning with some light face paddings. We grew very fond of her, and would be happy to sit again anytime. Thankyou for hosting us!
Chelsea and Karma were great to work with. They communicated well and made me feel at home. The cats Leo and Charli are awesome. Leo likes to be around people and snuggled with me a few times. Charli was more independent but loved to be pet and would pur too. Both cats were just lovely and really friendly from the start. The house is comfortable and well appointed. I had everything I needed. The scenery is really pretty and I got to see some wildlife too. It’s only a 20-minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park so super easy to go explore the park. This is a great sit and I highly recommend.
We have just completed 2 weeks looking after Penelope's home with 3 great dogs and Murdo, the most unforgetable of cats. We were made to feel most welcome as soon as we arrived, our responsibilities were clear, definite and easy to follow which we appreciated. Basil, Fizz and Beth have been meticulously trained and are great fun to be with, especially when they tag along on a daily walk to check on the sheep and the cows. Their home has everything anyone could want while house sitting, including picturesque views of Scotland from every window, as a location it is impossible to match. It is close to a village and only minutes from larger towns so everything is accessable. We enjoyed a most unforgetable stay.
