Maria is a highly recommendable pet sitter! I could not even dream of finding a person who feels the soul of cats sooo well :)
When we met the first time I immeadiately trusted to this harmonious, radiant, cheerful and charming lady. Maria was sending me absolutely adorable pictures and video where my cat looked so happy and relaxed. He did not seem to miss me. When I came back, my apartment was clean and everything was in order. My cat was caressing Maria to show me his simpaty to her. He was sad when she left... He found a truly friend of his heart and would be happy to have Maria back!

We already miss Maria. She is a unique human being you want to keep in touch and see again!
I am very grateful to Maria for all her love and care to my cat!
Welcome anytime!

I need everyone to know this review has been written for Bmr's benefit. I'm being as honest and candid as possible so anyone who signs up for taking care of Bmr will know what to expect and Bmr will get a proper care.

Firstly, let me emphasize that Bmr is a sweetheart. You will be hard pressed to find a sweeter/mild-tempered/gentler dog than she is. Bmr loves you for the fact that you are there to keep company. She does not ask much. She is happy just because you are there.

She is an old dog. She does not move fast. When you walk, you need to be patient. If you are expecting a brisk walk, you will not get it. You need to encourage her to keep walking. When she wants to rest and sniff the bushes, you let her for as long as she wants. You have to pay attention to her behaviors to see whether she's had enough or she wants to keep going, because her being slow does not mean that she does not enjoy being outside. When you end the walk, she most likely has to be carried up the stairs (just about 20 steps).

She occasionally has accidents; she is old and can't help herself. Expect not only to change the pee pads in the morning but also to clean up if she pees or poops on the floor. Do not shame her. As I said, she is an old dog.

There are many upsides to this sit. Bmr is a sweetheart, and so is Roshni, Bmr's pet parent. She took care to make sure that I was comfortable. She fed me when I arrived there. She gave me a ride to a nearby train station at the end of the sit when she didn't have to.

This is the prime location as well; if you are staying in Oakland, you cannot pick a better neighborhood to stay. It is within a block of Lake Merritt. On Saturdays you can walk to the biggest farmers market in the East Bay. Grand Avenue is where cool coffee shops and restaurants are. It is fairly close to BART station, so an easy access to San Francisco.

If you are signing up for this sit, please be prepared for Bmr's condition for her and your benefit. Love her, and she will love you back. And yes, I'll be back to sit for her in a heartbeat.

This was a wonderful relaxing sit in Destin. Lori, our host, was very congenial and we shared a meal before she left which was a wonderful way to get to know her better. Her home, in a very friendly neighborhood, was very clean and she left room for us in her closet, refrigerator and freezer for our items. The beach is close by and so are grocery stores. The best part of this sit was Copper, her Yorkie. He is very friendly and all the neighbors know him by name. He is a real sweetheart and very low maintenance. Copper likes to be with people, He follows you around and wants to be in the same room as you. There are no negatives to this house/pet sit. We would definitely recommend this sit. Thanks Lori

This was a really fun housesit! David is very communicative and clear, he left great instructions and was accessible for questions. The days were pretty typical for pupsitting, walks, potty time, feeding etc. Bourban and Milky were SO sweet, I was sad to say bye! The chickens were so easy other then feedtime I forgot they were there. The location is beautiful, you get a great view on sunset because it's on top of the hill. I enjoyed running on a walkway right in front of his house (even took Bourban with me one day!) Overall great sit, Thanks David!
